We’ve tried many dessert places in Tracy and this has been the better of them. The décor has potential which I’m sure will improve with more customers. Their selection changes daily based on what they want to make but you can place an order. We had the spiced pumpkin bites, chocolate banana bread and banana cream cheese delight. The bread wasn’t my favorite and beside the odd waffer thing with the cream cheese delight it was delicious. The huge bonus was that they also sale dessert wine.

I’ve had the pleasure of trying many of the different treats I Live For Dessert has to offer and they are all so amazingly tasty(and good for you). Only the best high-quality ingredients are used, which makes me feel good about what I’m eating and feeding my family. I ordered a traditional pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving and it was a hit at my family’s dinner. To the business owner, thank you for completing our holidays. Your desserts are so good and I don’t feel guilty about eating them.

I will have to agree with Breanna on this one. My wife and I walked in and the place is really nice, but is not welcoming at all. The teenage girl in who was helping us was nice, but we had a question regarding the dessert selections, the girl went to ask the owner and the owner just gave us a blank stare and responded coldly. When you look at this place and all the bright colors and desserts you expect happiness. Desserts is stressed spelled backwards so the best way to de-stress is to have desserts! This place just made us more stressed and unwelcomed. We did get a peanut butter cookie sandwich and the cookies were hard but did taste good. I think if the owner can be more welcoming and work a bit on her recipes this place can be successful. If I want hard cookies, I will just get some store bought cookies and leave them out for a day.

Walked out with no intention to return. The treats were delicious, they are definitely made with love but the physical space felt empty and dead. The owner did not welcome us or start any kind of conversation with us. Kind of a buzz kill after such anticipation.

I stopped by I Live for Desserts after the Wine Stroll this past weekend. I tried the Bananas Foster cupcake and a donut sandwich type of dessert. The Bananas Foster cupcake had good flavor but the texture was a little dense in both the cake and the frosting. There also seemed to be more frosting than cake, so it was very sweet. Luckily, I like frosting so it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing for me. The donut sandwich was filled with a lemon custard. The doughnut was also pretty dense. It was the end of the night so maybe that had a part in it? Not quite sure. The owners were working that night, both very nice and welcoming people. They have only been open for a couple weeks and seem to still have some kinks to work out. I would like to make another trip once they get settled in and try their desserts again. They told me that they try to use as many organic ingredients as possible when making their desserts which I think is pretty awesome. Oh and I love that they pair wines with their desserts, extra star for that unique idea! I’m glad they are bringing a new idea to downtown. I plan to come back to give that a try for sure.

If you’re going to splurge on calories, this is the place to do it. The desserts are creative and delicious. The treats are made from all-natural, high-quality ingredients and it’s really apparent from the first bite. Full marks!

We order treats for the office at least once a month. The pumpkin bundt cake is my favorite! Moist cake with rich frosting — Yum! The customer service is top notch. I can’t wait to check out the café.

I am never disappointed when I try one of the new creations, she really does live for dessert. I have had a number of the sweets and they are addicting! You can never have one, well maybe if you just buy one and then run away from the location. I always end up going back for more. I really loved her Dessert Balls, they are healthier as they are made with only honey. I also adore fudge and am pretty nuts for her Orange & Ginger Snap cookies. I am really excited for this store to open, a dessert store and bar in one? Yes please!

I live For Desserts is currently a home based business in Tracy and the address listed here is for the shop which is planned to open by the end of the Summer. The shop is going to serve Beer and Wine as well as Desserts, just what Tracy needs! You can place an order via the website and orders are ready within 3 – 5 days. Desserts available: Cookie Bars, Brownies, Cupcakes, Breads, Cookies, Cake Bites and Dessert Balls. I’ve sampled a couple of the items so far and am somewhat torn with how excited I am for the shop opening. The items I have tried are the Dessert balls($ 18 for 9) which both the variety I tried I found incredibly sweet as they both contained Honey and were absolutely smothered, they Honey seemed to overwhelm all of the other flavors. The balls are very simple and something easily made at home so probably not something I would order again. The Inside and Out Cupcakes however sound really good so maybe I’ll order them next time.
