I stayed there for one night. I was on a business trip. The service was really great. I gave it three stars because the shuttle service really saved my life. They provide shuttle service to and from the airport, to downtown, and even brought me to my second hotel location that was about 10 miles away. They also allowed me to leave my stuff with them because I didn’t have enough time to check in before work. They have hot breakfast served in the morning. Their fitness center is very basic but it’s open 24 hours, as is the pool and hot tub. Also pretty basic. It is right next to the Cottage Café. So although they do not have a restaurant, they do have this restaurant right next-door that’s pretty nice. See review below. The service was pretty good. I did find small ants in my shower. I wonder if it’s because I was assigned a handicapped room so the shower went right into the floor I think it may have had something to do with there being an overflow of water constantly in the bathroom. I complained about it and they fixed it right away. Overall, for a one night stay it’s definitely a good hotel if you’re going to stay any longer you may want to look elsewhere.

This looked like the nicest dog friendly hotel in the area online, so the $ 260-$ 300 per night price tag didn’t phase me. When I got here and saw the room I was disappointed. The mini fridge froze everything, the second bed folded into the wall, the coffee maker was broken and after several calls to fix it, I finally just bought one at target. The hot water is awful as well. One minute it’s nice, the next second it is scalding hot. I asked for a late check out, and found out that the latest available was noon,(I was need a 1pm checkout time). The only reason I gave this hotel 2 stars instead of 1 is the guy at the counter when we checked in. He was so nice and answered every question I had about the area. I am scheduled to be in this area for two weeks every year around this time, but I will not be using this hotel again.

I am a business traveler, so I stay in expensive hotel rooms all over the US. This was for a long weekend fishing trip. It has to be the cleanest hotel I have ever been in! Somebody is always cleaning something, it’s unreal. The rooms are spacious, soft pillows, the breakfast is hot and good and they even have outside seating for Bfast, a great in-door pool, the staff is VERY friendly and professional and it’s right off the HWY. Now, sorry, the bad news: loud A/C, the Bathroom light has an auto fan on it so if you’re like me and like to have the light on since you’re is a strange room and it’s pitch black… you can’t keep it on. Worst thing ~ water temp changes when you’re in the shower, goes from warm, to cold then hot and back to warm… Walls are paper thin, I could hear everything my neighbors were saying and I could tell they weren’t talking loud.

The absolute best part about this hotel is the staff. I have stayed at hotels ranging in price from $ 40 per night all the way up to $ 1,000 per night and the friendliness, professionalism, and courtesy of the employees at this location is on par with many of the most expensive hotels and resorts that I’ve visited. That being said, it’s still a Comfort Inn. The beds are very hard and not especially comfortable, but the rooms are clean, the free breakfast is pretty good, and the 24-hour pool and gym are a definite plus. During our stay the fire alarm went off frightening my companion and I and when the maintenance man noticed me in the hallway looking scared he apologized for scaring us and reassured me that everything was fine. Sometime later he even stopped by the room to make sure that we were doing okay. The ladies in charge of breakfast were also super sweet and helpful. I plan on returning to Traverse City in the near future and will most likely be booking this hotel again.

Stayed in one of the King bed Jacuzzi rooms for my girlfriends birthday and it was perfect. Nice clean room, comfy bed, the in room jacuzzi was excellent, clean 24hr pool and hot tub and the free breakfast was even great. Also a free quick shuttle anywhere in a 5 mile radius. Definitely will be staying here again.

My husband and I wanted to spend a weekend in Traverse City and saw that this place got good reviews. It’s pretty steep on the weekends($ 250.00 a night). We arrived on a Saturday late afternoon. The outside really looked nice and my husband checked in and hotel clerk was really friendly. When we got to the room, it wasn’t all what I expected. Yes it was clean. The set up is much different from the other Comfort Inn/Suites we stayed at. The bathroom sink was not in the bathroom. It was located on the right as you enter through the door. I liked that alot, I am more getting ready out the bathroom than inside. All they had available was two queen size beds. The king beds were sold out. That’s fine, we can live with that. What I did not like was the closet and refrigerator was at the end of the room next to the bed. This did not give us room to move around and it was a tight squeeze. I liked the size of the flat screen TV, there was a desk for our lap top, wifi was easy access to get in and not slow. The beds were uncomfortable and my backed hurt the next morning. The pool and hot tub was decent. They kept the room extremely hot and muggy which I did not like. Continental breakfast was pretty good. They served pastries, english muffins, bagels, toast, fried eggs, sausages, a station to make a small or large waffle, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, etc. They kept the food hot and condiments well stocked. Recreation/gaming area was pretty nice. They had a pin ball machine, vending machine, video golf game, etc. The gym was decent. Just your basic treadmill and weights. Housekeeping kept the room maintained(stocked the toilet paper and toiletries, take out the trash, etc.) and cleaned. We chose to keep some towels/recycle and needed new ones(half and half). They would be done by 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. What I did like the most was that they offer a shuttle bus service to downtown Traverse City(main strip). Just call the front desk and schedule when you want to go. Be kind and tip the drivers. If you want to go to Turtle Creek Casino, catch the shuttle next door at Country Inn(check hotel for local times). We had a nice stay, but the rooms were not spectacular(especially for the expensive price). Maybe my expectations were too high.

Had high hopes for this location but it was not to be. The room is not very quiet, we could hear the road near by and doors slamming at all hours didn’t help. Even the heat was quite noisy and in one room wouldn’t shut off. The breakfast was ok, typical fare powdered eggs, heat n eat sausage, waffles, etc. One of the biggest problem was the ICECOLD pool. My family and I love to swim and we were all freezing! Quite a bummer. We will probably go elsewhere next time.

Very good first impression and lasted all the way until check out. Clean rooms and friendly service from the front desk to housekeeping. Even though they are not a pet friendly hotel I had NO problems. In fact they wanted to know if there was anything I needed for her. They have a 24⁄7 pool and hot tub, free hot breakfast(fresh and delish), nice comfy beds, big flat screen TV, fitness room, mini fridge & microwave in the room. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting nice place to stay, without the hefty price!

Nice place and conveniently located to town. I would like to see complimentary tea coffee in evening. Room needs charging outlets near bed. Bathroom needs a place for clothes to sit while showering. Breakfast was very good and kept fresh til end.

Great room. Hotel doesnt look great on the outside, but lobby is very nice, nice fireplace and was great nicely. Room was very nice, clean and moderate in size. 4 pillows on each bed which I love. Great TV in room and nice cabinet that housed the microwave, fridge adn coffee maker. Breakfast in the morning is nice, but if hotel is fairly booked — get their early and claim a table. Coffee was good, muffins, yogurt, pasteries, fruit, waffles, etc. Very nice. ANd pool area is 24 hours! Wow! Also had a small game room with exercise room and vending. I was very pleasantly surprised. Might return here next time in T.C.

Best comfort inn hotel of ever stayed at from 42 inch high-definition televisions to a Jacuzzi in my room to friendly staff this is definitely a place to go when you’re in the Traverse City area. I am trying to get this hotel to subscribe to to promote this amazing hotel.

I love this place. I have stayed here twice and every time it’s been great. They have a 24⁄7 pool and hot tub, free hot breakfast, nice comfy beds, big flat screen tvs in each room, fitness room, mini fridge & microwave in each room, and the best front desk staff ever. I have to say that the staff is great, very friendly and nice. Props to Aaron at the front desk for being so helpful and nice every time we saw him. Also, there are fresh baked cookies at the front desk in the afternoon. What more could you ask for?
