Went to Traverse for a weekend and randomly decided to get a tattoo. Found Front Street tattoo on Unilocal and with the great reviews checked them out. Walked in and told them what I wanted, they drew it up and even stayed open late to tattoo me. By far one of the best tattoo atmospheres and amazing art skills. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for great artists, clean shop, and friendly accommodating people.

My friend and I walked in here about an hour before they closed shop. Mike was super to us, by staying a bit late to do our tattoos. They came out great! He was so efficient and just fantastically awesome! The artwork he has displayed from previous tattoos is phenomenal. Definitely coming back to Mike to get another one!

Decided I want a tattoo while in the area for a long weekend. A friend recommended this place and they were great. I called and asked for an appointment within the next hour or so. They were able to accommodate me and the owner, Mike, did my tattoo. He was honest about possible issues because of where I wanted the tattoo (below my ankle) and the design. He found a similar tattoo that I liked and he said would be better as a tattoo. I agreed with his suggestion regarding the location of the tattoo also. Would go back if I decide I need tattoo #5.

My dad and I went in about a month ago to get tattoos. He got a pizza slice (turned out amazing) and I picked something out of their $ 50 box. I was really happy with how it turned out. I didn’t catch my artist’s name, because I thought my dad did, and vice versa. He was super cool, very professional, and talented. I think it’s only him and the owner that work there?
Anyway, this shop does amazing traditional style (think Sailor Jerry) tattoos. You should probably check it out soon.

I got my first tattoo here and recommend this place to everyone. Tim was my artist and made me feel totally comfortable and relaxed. Very nice guy and he did a perfect job. The shop is very clean and I appreciate that they use all natural inks and are registered with the red cross so I was still able to participate in blood donations! This is not some sketchy tattoo place… it’s a great atmosphere with talented staff. My brother has had both tattoos done here both by Tim.
