Needs a serious update. And get real popcorn salt. What the heck are you guys thinking. One of the best parts of going to the movies is the popcorn. It deserves real popcorn salt! LOL

This theater is stuck in the 90’s. In today’s cinema world, who doesn’t have stadium seating? Oh yeah, Grand Traverse Cinema — that’s who! The prices are comparable, but it makes me wonder what they spend the money on. $ 8.50 for a show before 5 pm? Ugh! However, if you are lucky enough to watch a movie between 4 pm and 5:30 pm you will pay less. So how many movies actually play during that time (I don’t know, but I bet it’s 1 and it’s the oldest movie out). The floors in the theater were sticky (gross) and the bathrooms weren’t very clean. This theater needs a serious update.

Clean cinema located in a shopping mall. This cinema is outdated and in need for another upgrade in seating. The seating has become more comfortable, however the incline in the floor is not steep enough to allow good viewing if someone of average or taller height sits in front of you. It is a clean, friendly, and safe environment. Being inside a mall makes it covenant and waiting for your movie to start isn’t a problem. On a personal note i liked it better when they had Pepsi products. BTW upgrade the arcade. That is a sad extremely outdated and poor excuse for entertainment… Upgrade or get rid of it.

I hadn’t been to this theater in probably 10 years, and it was definitely a bit more run-​down (and smaller) than I’d remembered. But then again, there is plenty of parking (since it’s in a mall) and the lines weren’t long. We didn’t want any concessions, but the lines for that were empty as well. The theater we were in seemed clean, the seats were very comfortable, the A/​C was at just the right temp, and the sound level was good. My only minor complaint is that the info I found online had ticket prices listed as cheaper than they actually were…
