One of the best cheese tasting experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re a cheese lover, you have to try this place! Their list of cheese is impressive and staff is amazingly kind and attentive. They let you try whatever cheese you want. They cut you a generous piece with such a big smile on their faces. I think I tried around 10 different kinds and they kept giving more. I loved all of their Stiltons. Had way more fruit pieces(mango, blueberry etc.) in it than the ones you find at a supermarket and it tasted fresher. Their aged Cheddar is also delightfully sharp. I wish this store was nearby so I could try all the different cheese they bring in.

Stopped in for their 1st year in business celebration. Was able to taste some amazing cheeses from around the world. Ended up with a med white cheddar called Prairie Breeze, an Amish cheese from Iowa. So delish! Tina, Kim and Rita answered all our questions and were awesome.

This is the best thing we did in TC! The Cheese Lady was out of town, so we didn’t get the pleasure of meeting her. However, we had such a wonderful experience at her shop. To start, the prices aren’t listed on the wall. I was freaked about how much we were going to spend, but the prices were extremely fair. We did end up spending about $ 40 but I got 3 big chunks of cheese, cookies, bread, crackers and a cheese knife. All in all, I think I walked away a winner. The best part about coming to the Cheese Lady is that you can tell them what kinds of flavors or types of cheeses you enjoy and they’ll let you sample them until you find what you want to buy. We walked out of here with 3. a flourette goat brie, some kind of Dutch romano(did she say Dutch? I forget already) and a horseradish havarti. All 3 were completely wonderful and we wanted to keep trying more and more but decided to stop. The girl waiting on us was so nice and she wasn’t impatient with us at all. There’s so much more offered here besides just cheese too. If you want stuffed olives, cheese accessories, or even lamb sausage, I recommend making a stop here. Pro tip: they also have a location in Grand Rapids if that’s closer to you.

If you like cheese, you will LOVE the Cheese Lady! This try-before-you-buy cheese shop has something for everyone. The workers are so passionate about what they do, and won’t rest until you find a cheese you love. Tina helped me and was fantastic, so kind and helpful. I learned a little something too! Definitely an out-of-the-ordinary stop that is a must-do to break up your beer or wine tour, or to just stop in for a snack!

Random find while visiting other shops. I LOVECHEESE!!! Staff is so lively, helpful, and generous with the samples to get you what you’re really into. Got the mango stilton, piave vecchio, and a 4 year old cheddar. The mango stilton had much more mango flavor than the kind you’ll find at your local grocery store. Piave vecchio was new, parmesan flavor and a little nutty. Cheddar was deliciously sharp. Gotta stop by if you’re a fan of cheese.
