Very cool place! What you do is you pay $ 19.99 for the unlimited everything. You get boiled cod, BBQ ribs, BBQ chicken, coleslaw, rye bread, and dessert. The food is all pretty good, fish definitely needs butter and lemon. For drinks, they also have some pretty cool fishbowl cocktails. A fun drink to have but next time I will probably ask for one or two shots added in. It’s a great place to go to for something different. Antioch and Bristol area are chockful of average places, this is one to come back to! Plus get a load of the cauldron they boil the fish in! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!

This place is pretty bumping and seems to have a good amount of fans. Not saying they are a bad Resturant but it defiantly wasn’t for me. The chicken wings had a weird smell and taste. Doesn’t mean that they suck, just means they weren’t for me. The fish fry was good, but that was all that was good. Even the soda was gross to me. Again just my experience and what I thought. I hope the place does well. It’s needed in the area.

We went to try this out. The décor leaves something to be desired. The food took awhile to come out but when it did we were extremely happy with it. My husband got a hamburger and I got the Italian beef. Surprisingly excellent. We didn’t go on a fish boil night but will try that next time time. We will go back.

A friend recommended the Fire Pitt for Friday Fish Boil. I thought she meant fish fry because that is the norm around here. But much to my surprise they actually do a fish boil, just like Door County! We were going to sit in the dining room, but it seemed pretty noisy, so we opted to sit in the bar area. Our server got our drinks quickly and explained how the all you can eat fish boil worked… buffet style and you can add barbecue chicken and ribs for an extra charge with the fish boil. We added the chicken and ribs to our meals and off we went to the buffet… we were greeted by two young ladies who dished up our dinner for us and headed back to our table. I have to say, it was delicious, the fish and potatoes were as good as I remember having in Door County. Loved the Cole slaw. The chicken and ribs were fall off the bone tender and the bbq sauce was yummo! Neither of us had room for a second helping. Our server boxed up our pie, which was included with the meal. We left very satisfied with our dessert for later and pleasantly full tummies. We are so happy to have checked this place out. I’ve been driving past it for years and never knew what a gem we had right over the border!

Want in a Friday night for a triple threat all you can eat; fish, ribs, and chicken. They loaded up my plate so much I could barley finish my first plate! Then I had a piece of pie to top it all off! Highly recommend! Great please friendly staff.

Never disappointed when I eat here. The fish boil is amazing! They also have an Italian beef that is the best I’ve ever had. I have had Italian beefs all over Illinois. Who knew that I had to cross the border to find the best???

Food was really good. For some reason I was really worried about trying this place, but was super good, drinks were cheap and the kids enjoyed the magician.

The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was just decent. Did the fish boil and it didn’t blow me away. It was good, but nothing to write home about. I was disappointed after seeing all the reviews. I should however point out there is more than one way to do fish boil. I just had fish but for additional fees you can add ribs or barbecue chicken.

We have visited here from the Chicago burbs several times and have never been disappointed. We love the BBQ pork sandwiches, burgers and wings. The sauces they have are unique and delicious. We especially love the root beer and raspberry sauces. If you are even remotely in the area and like BBQ you should make the trip over and try this place out, it is worth it!

Wow. What a wonderful place with some awesome pizza. Long wait, but well worth it. Veggie pizza for my wife and I and a cheese for the kids. We were all happy. Will be coming back very soon.

I have gone here several times for the all-you-can-eat Friday fish boil(or bbq chicken or both). It comes with potatoes, cole slaw, rye bread and dessert. Make sure you emphasize«tiny amount of butter» on your potatoes, otherwise they will ladle it onto your plate and everything will be swimming in the stuff.

Initially I stopped here under the impression that I was going to get BBQ. You see, I was craving brisket. But nope… The kids and I sat out back. I was kind of weary of our choice whn I noticed we were the only customers. Even though it was a weekday night, still felt weird. Once I got the menu I was even more lt down to notice such a small selection. I wanted to leave but decided to stay because how hungry we were. I ordered the beef which came with fries and slaw. Daughter had the mac and cheese which came with fries and applesauce. Atlas…I have found a place near antioch that has the BEST italian beef. No joke. It was delicious. All of our plates were clean. We finished everything. And believe me… that doesn’t happen often! We will be back! Goes to show… don’t judge a book by its cover. Btw.wait staff was great too! Can’t wait to try the fish boil.

Time to roll home! Just watch that first step out the door, it’s a doozy! At first glance of the menu, my wife was disappointed. She didn’t want the fish, chicken, or rib dinner. The rest of the menu looks small, and she thought it was going to be average bar food. She was wrong. They even had 2 great soups to choose from. Both were her favorites. She also loved the wings and the egg roll mozz sticks. I had the fish. It was great! My wife tried it and actually liked it. She never eats fish. She refuses to eat fish. She even said she would come back and get it. What did you put in the fish? Smack? The service was great. She was attentive to refills and even packed up a couple slices of dessert to go!

This is an absolute hidden gem! Went Friday night and enjoyed it so much we went back Saturday. Friday I had the fish boil and ribs. It was definitely«poor mans lobster». It really did taste like lobster. The potatoes and pearl onions were tender and perfect and the homemade cole slaw was some of the best we ever tasted. My wife had a burger and loved it. After tasting my cod Friday, it was easy to come back Saturday. Needless to say she ordered the fish on Saturday. It’s a great low carb option too. You don’t feel sluggish after feasting like kings and queens. The Food really was perfect. Tracey was out server both nights by request on Saturday because she was the star. She was hands down the most personable and sweetest server we have ever had anywhere. She loves what she does and her passion shows. This place has a down home feel like no other and the owners Artie and Lauren were so humble and friendly. 5 stars! We will be back. I’m craving the cod again right now.

In Spring & Fall, I spend quite some time up this way. Always eager to try something new, I hit up the Fish Boil with some friends last summer. Flakey Cod and rustic red potatoes smothered in butter with some New Glarus brews proved most enjoyable upon my initial visit. Still, I didn’t fully appreciate this gem until I savored their spectacular beef sandwiches and tropical fish bowl cocktails. forever on special. A tender, carefully crafted family recipe yields delectable beef that doubles as a terrific pizza topping. This beef rivals the very best Chicago has to offer. only for less cash. I dig adding grilled onions and a bit of Rootbeer BBQ sauce to their hearty sandwiches. So. Damn. Good. Hefty, flavorful burgers and fab waffle fries bump my Pitt love up to five stars. The owner and staff are fantastic and always glad to see you. Last visit I sat at the bar, was served by truly lovely ladies, and enjoyed a bit of lively conversation with a few friendly, local patrons. Plenty of seating, indoors and out, generous pours/drink specials and BOMB beef assure I’ll be frequenting here as often as my travel permits me. Thanks again to Anthony M. for turning me on to this family-owned treasure. Cheers!

FRIDAYNIGHTFISHBOIL Don’t worry you can also get it on Thursday, Saturday & Sunday Night too. We have been dying to try this place and we are so happy we did. My experience with this restaurant started out on the phone. I called and spoke with Shelby and asked about the entertainment for Saturday night, which was listed on the website. She wasn’t quite sure and asked if she could call me back. She was very sweet & kind on the phone. When she called back she informed me that the band would not be playing. She then told me of the location they would be performing. All I could think was that was so nice of her and it was above and beyond of what I asked. I asked if she was the hostess and she said, «No I’m the bartender!» I was really impressed now. We decided to go on Friday instead because there wasn’t going to be music on Saturday. This restaurant has 4 different entrances. We couldn’t decide on which way to enter. Of course we picked the back door which put us directly in the dinning room. We made our way up front to the hostess stand and met Artie. He was very nice and gave us a list of options: Did we want to sit outside? Did we want the bar or dinning room? Did we want a high boy or low table? We had so many options to choose from. It was hard to decide. We also learned that Artie was one of three brothers that owned the restaurant. Artie set us up with Willow as our waitress. Willow was a real hard worker and was constantly running food and serving tables. We asked Willow about the food and she went through all of her favorites. She even rolled her eyes in a good way when she said how delicious the homemade roast beef sandwich was. My wife was sold. We learned that the 3 brothers bought the business from there grandparents and this roast beef was grandpa’s secret recipe. I must admit it was really good. Look out Chicago there’s a new player up North. Later in the evening when Willow asked my wife how the sandwich was my wife rolled her eyes just like Willow. I’m telling you the beef is magical. I did have a little taste and I know I’m getting one of these for my self next time. Originally we were all coming for the Fish Boil. What’s a fish boil? I’m glad you asked. A fish boil is a culinary tradition in areas of Wisconsin with large Scandinavian populations along the Great Lakes coast lines. The locally caught fish is cut into chunks and dropped into a kettle cooking potatoes and onions. The only seasoning that is added is salt. I must say that it was delicious for my first fish boil. It is often served with melted butter giving it the name poor mans lobster. Of course I had to get the melted butter. I’m doing it up big tonight. Did I tell you that it’s AYCE for only $ 14. Now that’s a deal. My wife encouraged me to add on the AYCEBBQ chicken and BBQ ribs. At first I said no but then she said your only $ 4 away from getting it all. I looked at her and accepted the challenge. I must admit the chicken and ribs were tender fall of the bone delicious plus the BBQ sauce had a nice sweet tangy flavor. You can also get coleslaw and rye bread too. This was a meal fit for a Scandinavian King if he was into Fish Boils. Now what makes this place unique is that they are offering a Fish Boil. Everyone in Wisconsin serves a fish fry not this place. The one thing I liked was that I didn’t feel sluggish or tired after eating the boiled fish and BBQ’d meat. Typically it feel like I’m dragging after a greasy fish fry. Our little one had a bowl of the Potato Soup which she loved. I snuck and spoon and it was really good. We also ordered a kids meal for $ 3 which included Mac n Cheese, seasoned fries & apple sauce. How can you go wrong with all of that? After dinner we went out to see where the magic happens. There is a fire pit next to the restaurant where we met Nate who was manning the fish boil. Nate works harder then a postal worker because he is stuck out side cooking through sleet, rain & snow. It’s a dirty job but someone has to do it. Nate is really proud of everything he is doing outside. I would call him the head chef of the Fish Boil. Remember that sweet kind bartender Shelby well I finally got to meet her. She was taking her break keeping Nate company outside. When I introduced myself, she laughed and said, «You were so nice on the phone!» I took that as a total compliment. Isn’t it amazing when two complete strangers can have a great conversation on the phone. I wish this was an everyday occurrence because the world would be a better place. They also have weekly specials that include half price pizza on Tuesdays, 50 cent wings on Wednesdays and 99 cent kid meals with Magician on Thursdays. So plan your week accordingly. If you’ve never been to a fish boil then this is the place. The food was excellent and the owners & staff amazing. We can hardly wait to come back.
