Royse Ranch Bed and Breakfast

Far exceeded my expectations!!! My husband and I traveled out to Trinidad, CO, to check out the area because we are considering moving there in the future. There were a few other bed & breakfasts in the area, all with comparable prices, but we picked this one because of its extra charm and great location. Marsha and Jim opened their home to us like we were family! They are just the nicest people! Beautiful home with knotty pine everywhere and oversized windows that lookout out over the hillside. Everything was clean and decorated with care. The bed was just about the comfiest bed I think I’ve ever slept in. If you love bubble baths, the views from the oversized claw foot tubs (in the Cowboy Room and the Indian Room) are just lovely. The most relaxing bubble bath EVER. All of the amenities of a luxury hotel plus more! Beautiful views of the mountains all around! Such a peaceful getaway! Not to mention, the food was OVER THE TOP delicious!!! Blueberry muffins with «too many» blueberries, banana nut pancakes, thick-​sliced bacon, homemade biscuits and gravy, I mean — you name it. We had dinner as well, complete with cocktails and wine, and Jim mesquite smoked the biggest ribeyes we had ever seen! They were amazing! And I will never forget those bourbon glazed carrots. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. My husband and I can’t wait to go back!
