Very blah pizza. I had the Hawaiian and there was practically no sauce under the toppings. The flavor of the pizza itself was pretty bland and boring. With such lack of flavor on that extremely thick crust, it was basically as if I ate bread for dinner. Lots of room for improvement here!

I’ve been here 4 times, twice with my family, and twice by myself. All four times, I got delicious loaded NY slices. My Granddaughter loved her cheese pizza and she’s picky! We ordered a Calzone to taste, hot and tasty! Everyone enjoyed it. I will have to try the Italian dinners, Ziti and Eggplant Parm. They set my benchmark for a good Italian joint! They do have a grwat menu to satisfy anyone! When I come for lunch, I get 2 slices, one pepperoni, and one crumbled italian sausage. The sausage covered every bit of the slice and it had a nice subtle heat to it. The 6 rounds of pepperoni were more than enough on the 2nd slice! The sauce is tasty and sandwiched between the thin crust and a solid layer of cheese. I always enjoy it. Two notes! One, the satallite music I was listening to was definitely 80s, Duran Duran, Tina Turner, INXS, Prince, Hall & Oates, to name a few. I did gag a lil’ when I heard Bobby Brown’s My Prerogative! :-P It’s all good. Two, there are 12 HDTVs, more than enough to handle a busy sports weekend. But here’s my pet peeve. If you don’t have the sound on(reasonable), you better have captioning! No sense having the visuals especially when play-by-play, analysis, or discussion is going on! I asked the General Manager about it. He told me if I wanted the souns on or captioning, he would be happy ro do it! Cool! So, before you start flaming on a place, always talk to a manager before you judge. Peace out! :-)

It’s a gamble every time I order food. I work in the plaza, most days I work a 10 hour shift alone so it’s super easy to order on the phone and walk over quickly. I order food quite often and my family dines in as well. I was hoping things would get better as the place aged but to be quite honest it just continues to get worse. The food is inconsistent, sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s not. Some times they forget to even put my order in. The employees are inexperienced, I always have to ask for silverware and napkins. Besides working in the plaza I am also in the service industry at night and I would get fired if I answered the phone the way some of the kids do. Today the kid said«hello». Not thanks for calling johnnys or my name is blah blah how can I help you. I think I will be bringing my service to five guys, or just starve.

Terrible service. Don’t bother with takeout. After an hour and a half, I received my cold, soggy pizza, and will never go or order there again.

Had lunch here today. I ordered the eggplant parm sub for $ 9.50! There were 3 slices of eggplant on the sandwich and the fries were under cooked. The spaghetti lunch special is a large portion, but the sauce was very watery and got the garlic bread all soggy. Had to get up and go to the bar to get sweet n low for my tea. Server took our order delivered it and never saw her again until she brought us the bill.

It’s disappointing how quickly this place has gone downhill despite it being so new. My partner and I were excited for a potentially awesome pizza place within walking distance that isn’t a big chain like Pizza Hut or Papa John’s. The first time we visited they had only been open a couple weeks — the place was packed, the owner was there running a tight ship, food was fresh, and service attentive. Cut to several months later and the place was completely dead, except for a couple people at the bar. We were served doughy, undercooked garlic knots swimming in oil, everything seemed previously frozen(maybe they’re trying to cut costs?) The staff are young and were more attentive to each other than their customers. All that aside — what *is* good? The pizza crust. It’s the closest I’ve had to the pizza I used to eat when I lived in Brooklyn. And they pour a generous glass of wine. That’s about it.

The food was fine. My daughter had a slice of customized pizza, which was a very generous size and she loved it. I had eggplant rollatini which was good and my daughter liked that too. Aesthetically it is very unpleasing. It seems like a mish mash of wood and metal that just doesn’t work. As for the service, it was lacking. This is partly due, I’m sure, to the age of the staff, which is very young. That’s good in the sense that these kids are working and so I give them the benefit of the doubt on that. However, there seemed to be some chaos and disconnect there, which may be a reflection of the management. I also twice asked for one of the TV’s to be changed to the Lightning game… once at the bar and once with my waitress… and it never happened. I would rate it higher if this was just based on food but the service and the atmosphere drop it down one star.

Nice casual atmosphere. Good friendly service but very unremarkable pizza. Definitely not New York style.

I took my daughter to get new glasses in the same plaza as Johnny Bruscos and saw a sign that said Best Wings in town, so I decided to test that claim. My 8yr old daughter tried to order 2 slices of pizza but the waitress said 1 would do and she was right when the slice came out it was as big as her face. The wings are awesome and I’ve gone back a couple times to make sure it wasn’t a fluke; it was not they are great! Sad I missed the super bowl.

Decided to give them a second try, after an average lunch service a few weeks prior. We ordered calamari, a calzone, soup and salad. Nothing seemed to be fresh and it all tasted like it had come out of the freezer. The soup came out cold and nothing had real flavor. The breading of the calamari and the dough on the calzone just did not taste authentic or freshly made. They seemed to have a young, inexperienced staff working, with no visible manager circulating the restaurant. The restaurant has a great layout and seems to have potential to be good. But the food was below average and the service was not good. Disappointing for the Trinity area, as this is a good location.

This place is just down right dirty! No other way to describe it, the workplace is a cluster of high school students with inexperience and immaturity. The managers were very rude to my family and I, i found that there were two cockroaches on my table which is unacceptable in a dining establishment. Not to mention my order of wings was undercooked and tasted unappealling i will never return to this location!

Pizza was good but a pricey in my opinion. Got a large pepperoni and onion regular style. Crust was thick and pizza was not very greasy contrary to another reviewers pizza. The crust had quite a few bubbles that were on the burnt side, guess they don’t pop them as the pizza is cooking. The cheese had good flavor and toppings were decent in quantity and taste. I think the sauce was a little uneven — some bites seemed dry and others saucy. Sauce was ok, nothing special. Overall, pizza was good but unless they have a special probably won’t spend the $$$ here.

Lots of pizza places claim to have«New York Style» pizza. As a native New Yorker, I take such claims with a grain of salt; most don’t live up to this promise. Johnny Brusco’s doesn’t either. But let me talk about the good first… Good(not excellent) service. I was left waiting for a drink refill for quite some time, but the server was friendly and otherwise attentive. I ordered mini garlic knots, a slice of pizza, and ravioli. The knots, ravioli, and the accompanying garlic bread were good to excellent. The pizza… Not so much. The slice I got was a soggy mess. A slice should, when folded in half, be able to be lifted without sagging under its own weight, and not be leaking oil everywhere. Here they failed, and the cheese was coming detached, making any effort to eat the lower half of the slice a decidedly knife-and-fork affair. On the positive side, the upper half of the slice was decent, with good sauce. The manager stopped by to inquire about my dissatisfaction, and mentioned that I should ask for«well done» next time. Ok, but the crust was already well done — any more done would constitute«burnt». So I am not sure where this remark comes from. It seemed to me that they used cheaper cheese and had way too much in the middle of the pie. Anyway, for Florida pizza it wasn’t the worst I’ve had… But not thus far the best. I’d stick with the the non-pizza offerings, although perhaps I might change my mind after another slice some other time. One imaginary star added for the Yankees banner hanging in the dining room. Just ’cause.

I can’t be sure if it’s just really gone down hill since they first opened, or if a different cook was there tonight or if they just don’t know how to do take out. But tonight was gross. Wings so soggy they aren’t even identifiable! And pizza not nyc style, more like soggy with cheese all in one area and some areas bare! I took a pic of the«wing» to add but I don’t see the option to add it!

Dianna B. said four stars, so I tumbled in for lunch. The lunch specials allowed me to order pizza and wings without getting too crazy. They have a cute lil bar with Fat Tire, and Stella Cidre on tap. They promise great game day specials on brew and grubb. They offer growlers, and have plenty of TV’s. Still pretty new, they weren’t slammed or anything, but attentive and informative. They have the Five Star rewards here, so if you know about that, it’s one rewards card that works at several dining establishments.(whew, finally!) The ingredients are fresh. So fresh in fact, that they were still a bit cold after being in that oven for a couple lunch slices, which is okay with me. The pizza, baked screen less kept some of it’s «baking bubbles». The best and worst part about this place is that it’s a chain in Trinity. Which means there’s nothing quite like it around, but will also prove too pricey for Pasco Countylites. Good luck guys! I’ll be back!

I was craving wings. Like SERIOUSLY craving wings and nothing was working so we stopped into this plaza and noticed a new pizza shop. Pizza goes naturally with wings, and I was right. The former Crisper’s location wasn’t busy, but the service was pretty awesome. Our waitress took our order — we ordered their special 20 wings and a large pie for $ 32, and we got some fried mushrooms. The Mushrooms came out 10 of them for about $ 8.00 a bit pricy, but they were tasty fried morsels of yumminess. The wings came out and though we ordered Medium — they were pretty heated. The husbeast at 8 and I ate 4, The pizza, they left it in a little long, I’m ok with that, i like my crust crispy, but the Owner was very apologetic, He offered to throw a new pie in for us. He didn’t need to. They are over priced for their location. Crispers didn’t make it and if they want to, they’re going to have to come down a bit to match.

Pluses: service, draft selection, specials Minuses: food, prices, atmosphere We sat at the bartenderless bar and had some drinks and food. Girl that took care of us though was still great and was on top of everything. Id give that 5 stars… however the food and atmosphere was mediocre at best. This is no fault of the staff or management but just what you should expect from a chain type of place. Pizza was comparable to a pappa johns or Dominos and appetizers were your general pre made frozen items that most of these places serve. They’re definitely way over priced on their pizzas and additional toppings especially. Considering their location they’re definitely going to need to advertise more and improve on their price point if they expect to make it.

Tried order out and dine in, and both times had a large pepperoni pizza with extra dough, and loved it. They cook using a pizza oven, and it had a nice crisp crust. I imagine that if you like thin and crispy, they should be able to nail it.
