There is much variety to find on the Alfonzo’s menu and I have tried almost everything they have to offer. I have never left this restaurant disappointed, just satisfied. The customer service is top notch! We have always been well take care of when dining at Alfonzo’s and when choosing this location for family parties.

Use to love the house salad here. The salad is still the same — but what has happened to the house dressing? The last 3 times it has been little more than just oil and vinegar. When we used to get it — it had spices galore and tasted amazing. The last 3 times it was bland at best. We love Alfonzo’s and been coming off and on since I was little, so I wanted to help them out by telling them about it. I called and told the manager the first time it happened. He apologized and said the staff must not have shook the dressing first. He said he would talk to them. But it has happened 2 other times since. Saddens me that I won’t try it again at home. Pizza’s are still uniquely Alfonzos and bring back great memories. Please bring back the house dressing!

Was in the area today and needed to have lunch. My pick was Alfonzo’s. I absolutely ate way too much. Took advantage of the text I received to receive a free salad if ordering pizza. So I ordered a slice of pizza, got my free salad and felt the need for hot wings. I, of course, did not eat all of the food, but taste buds were satisfied, food was delicious, and tasted just as great for dinner leftovers. Love the caring but not over baring wait staff. Will go again as soon as time permits.

Ever since I was a teenager I have been visiting Alfonso’s. I can’t recall ever having a bad experience there. We have rented their party room on multiple occasions and have always had top-notch service. I love their pizza… they are huge! Also I highly recommend their toasted ravioli!

Passing through Troy my family and I stopped in at this locally established pizza place. The staff was friendly, helpful at explaining what everything was on the menu, and kept our drinks full. Food came out fast, hot and delicious. The pizza crust was thin yet still soft like a thick crust, not hard or cracker like, and tasted great, and it was huge. We had the house salad which was great and the fonzo bits(deep fried pizza dough) and they where great but honestly they had me at deep fried. They also had an arcade for the kids, and private rooms for big groups. We will certainly return when in the area gain.

Interior was clean. Staff were nice. But the food… well we ordered the pepperoni pizza and 2 subs. Mine was the buffalo chicken. The«chicken» was poor quality chicken strips with maybe 5 to 6 drops of buffalo sauce on a roll. The roll had enough butter on it for a loaf of bread. My son-in-laws sub was also poor quality and greasy. The pizza was very well lubed. The pizzas are HUGE! Too big to put on the table apparently. Now I see there are good reviews and that’s ok. We only went once and can not know the quality of the rest of the menu. The«game room» is standard, overpriced games rewarding cheap pieces of plastic from China. .Won’t be going back. GROSS food

A wonderful and dear friend of mine, Roxie, suggested we meet for lunch at Alfonzo’s Pizzeria in Troy, IL this past week. She said the salad and pizza were delicious. .. and she was right! Had to be the largest slice of pizza I have ever had on a plate in front of me. Pizza slice came with two selected ingredients. The salad was very cold and sliced. .. pilled high too. We arrived at 11AM for lunch and were the first ones there. Before we left right before Noon, the place was swarming with people. They, too, knew that Alfonzo’s Pizzeria was delicious. There is plenty of seating and a large fireplace inside the dining room. I’m sure the rest of the menu is equally as delicious…I’m truly ready to go back! Thank you Roxie for another wonderful luncheon suggestion!

First time eating here and was pretty pleased with the place. We had wings for an appetizer and we chose the Italian dry rub ones and they were fantastic. We also ordered the house salad and it was great with the exception there wasn’t very much cheese on it. We think it would have been A+ with more cheese and we ordered the Avalanche pizza and let me tell you that thing is HUGE! There were 4 of us and we took home a whole normal pizza after it was all said and done. Overall Alfonzo’s is a good place to eat and we will be back and the main reason for only 4 star is they do not deliver. To be honest I thought EVERY pizza place delivered.

Literally the worst pizza I have ever eaten. My wife took one bite and said«ugh…that’s all you.» It was awful. Name any frozen pizza, any at all, it’s better and cheaper than Alfonzo’s. On top of the bad pizza, the staff were all rude and seemingly preoccupied though they certainly not preoccupied with helping anyone. Avoid this place

I actually went here on the first night staying in Illinois. It’s a nice family-friendly atmosphere with part of the restaurant being an arcade for the kids(or young at heart). I wasn’t too hungry that day, so I went with their special antipasto salad with Italian Dressing(which they make themselves) and toasted ravioli(this was basically a staple in my meal that week). By the way, get a small salad because it is HUGE!

Good food and outstanding service! Great place for the whole family. They have a «chuck e cheese» style arcade that the kids love! We’ll definitely be coming back.

I love this place! I would eat here every day if I didn’t care about my diet. The pizza is so delicious. The crust amazing. Not too crispy, not to soft. Perfect. The ingredients are so fresh and tasty. The prices are also extremely reasonable for all the food you get. The only thing is I wish they delivered. That would be awesome!

Love the salad. Pizza is good. Not bad and not great, but good. Better than the place they have in their old building.

Great chicken wings but truly awful pizza. Maybe I’m just spoiled by the really good pizza I’ve been eating in Chicago. Their wings give them 5 stars, but their pizza takes two away. The service was indifferent at best, but we did get our food in a timely manner. Hubby said his pizza was«ok» but also said he wouldn’t go out of his way to come back. Soggy crust, dry sauce, minimal cheese and niggardly amounts of toppings(particularly on a pretty expensive pie) do not a memorable pizza make. The wings were ordered with medium sauce that had zero flavor or heat – tasted like they’d been dipped in margarine. However, they were big, and cooked crispy, which makes me happy enough to eat them and give them 3 stars. I can’t speak for their Italian dishes, but the pizza was astonishingly mediocre.

Sorry, just not our cup of tea. We lived close to the old one in Maryville… We love pizza, having three kids. We love Pizza from Peel, Pi Pizza downtown, Dewey’s is up there. The pizza here is just overall bad. The sauce has a little flavor, the cheese does not, the toppings aren’t overly fresh, just alright. The second worst part? Every time we go the pizza is consistently soft, no crunch whatsoever. I guess some people like that, if you can’t chew. On to the worst part. Don’t bring kids here if you plan on letting them go in the arcade. The games now use a card system, instead of tokens. So now you can’t give a couple tokens, send them on their way and they linger around the game room for a bit. Instead parents have to go in there and load up their card to add more credits. A lot of the games are not a quarter, they are $.50 or more. There is even one game that is $ 3.00! Smaller kids that don’t understand the credit system, means you have to follow them around to every game. Don’t get me wrong, I understand, Pizza and arcade place, not arcade and pizza place. This isn’t ChuckECheese and they don’t try to be. With that said, a half jumbo pizza with 2 toppings(feeds 2 – 3, we had two adults and two kids) and a whole salad, along with 3 soft drinks and a water = $ 80.00 after $ 30 in arcade credits, which lasted all of about 25 – 30 minutes. Find somewhere else, this place is just overpriced lousy pizza, overpriced games, overpriced drinks for kids($ 2.49 for a kids coke?). If the pizza was good, $ 80 might be worth it. Why the second star? The interior is MUCH better than the Maryville location was. Kudos for a comfy interior.

First time I have tried the place since it moved from Maryville. The atmosphere is a definite improvement over the old location. The parking is ample and easier to access also. The food and the service were excellent like I would expect from visiting the old location.
