I eat lunch here pretty often and it’s always a great experience. The service has always been super and the food is always served hot and delicious. They have big booths and the atmosphere here is cozy. Dinner seems to be a bit hectic so that’s why I stick to lunch only.

I went to this place a while ago, so I do not remember my whole experience. I remember that the food costed more than it should. The place was just average, and after the first experience, I never decided to go back to this place. This place has no relation whatsoever to authentic Italian food, but I guess if you would like to taste americanized Italian food, this is a place to go to if you are not worried about the price. The food was not tasty and was not enough to fill me up. I guess the only cool thing about this place is the decoration, but you really can find that at any good Italian restaurant.

Good food but the service sucks. I have sat for over an hour and had my table visited 3 times. 1. To take an order. 2. To deliver an appetizer. 3. To deliver a drink ordered when we sat down. Won’t be coming back to this location.

Went at a time when it was not busy Friday night. Ordered steak and salmon. Steak serving had awfully overcooked and wrinkled carrots. Service was terrible for a $ 90/couple dinner. Server was standoffish to questions about the menu. Small things such as offering fresh-ground pepper were missed.

My wife and I ate here during a trip to the Somerset mall. The design of the restaurant is not very good as it is long and narrow with limited aisle spaces. However, we had a really nice dinner. My wife and I started with Insalata salads which were terrific and very large. My wife had lobster and shrimp fettuccine which she enjoyed very much. I had their version of carbonara which was good but not great. Both of our dishes were so large we had to box them up to finish later. We did split a piece of chocolate cake which was very good but not extraordinary. The best part of the dinner was the service. Jeremiah was one of the best waiters we have had. He was very courteous and very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us with our dining choices. He even helped us with some tips on reheating our entrees which came out great the next day. However, the best thing about him was that he maintained a great sense of humor which was welcomed after dealing with the mall crowds.

I really enjoy this place. I’m a stickler for good Italian food, so I wouldn’t normally give a five star rating to an Italian chain, but this is such a great spot I have to. Nestled in the middle of Somerset mall, it has an upscale rustic décor. This makes it a great place to relax and indulge, even when wearing jeans. My husband and I popped in to the bar to meet a couple family members who were departing from the holidays, and I couldn’t wait to get their frozen Bellini(my favorite of their drink offerings!) It did NOT disappoint — fresh and not TOO sweet. I got their soup of the day, which was a divine cream of mushroom. Kind of like goldilocks and the three bears, it was not too creamy, not too brothy… JUST right. I split this with my husband so that I could have half of his caprese salad. I normally don’t order that when I go out, because it seems so easy to make at home, but man, am I glad Mike did! Their balsamic was incredible, and there was some sort of extra flavoring in the EVOO that added so much! And the basil was in ribbons, which I loved for presentation purposes. Everything was fairly priced, and our server was nice and attentive. All good things to say!

Always good! I love going here for lunch, dinner or happy hour. The food is great. Order the eggplant and shrimp appetizer. It has a spicy little kick to it. I had the grilled salmon salad. It is a perfect combination with asparagus and crispy potatoe strings. The white peach sangria is refreshing. The burgers are even great and are half price on the happy hour menu. I realize that it’s an Italian restaurant but I don’t think I have ever had pasta here but it looks good. The service is great, the people are friendly, there is valet parking.

Good food, I think the prices are little high for a commercial type establishment. their soups are good but the server told me they come shipped in pre made in a plastic bag. Service is always good. Food is hit or miss. When they get it right, I always enjoy my meal. Bruschetta is a must try there. I will continue to dine here.

Bravo and brio are pretty much the same however, the experience at brio is just that much better! For starters the bread that comes out at brio is absolutely delicious and is a good enough reason to dine in. They prepare an ultra thin, crispy bread basket with each piece of bread loaded with tons of flavor. It definitely tasted like a Asiago bagel X10 just delicious. The appetizers were extremely tasty as well with a large array to choose from. The salads are delicious and during lunch really hits the spot, of course with basket after basket of that crispy bread they make. It’s complimentary but is so good they could charge for it! Brio is a must for brunch on the weekends!

This place is always crowded, i guess because its in the mall. The food was good. Appetizers are in large quantities so be aware. A little pricy.

This is the second time I am here. The first time was fine so we came back for the second time. Unfortunately, this is not a pleasure experience. The food was average, but the tiramisu is bad. The reason I give them a two stars because our waitress was so rude. For example, she took the food away while I was still eating. And she dropped the bill on the table without saying anything. This attitude is even worse than McDonald! I was shock that they would have such kind of waitress. Incredible !

We decided to try Brio for the first time yesterday evening for a birthday dinner. Not knowing what to expect on a Sunday, we made a reservation for 5:30 just in case. Upon arrival, it didn’t seem too busy. They were on time with our reservation & we were seated right away. As the evening went on, they became quite busy. The restaurant looked clean and has a nice ambiance. It was a little noisy but there was a large party celebrating something a few tables behind us, so that could have been a main factor. We could still talk at a normal level and hear each other so no big deal overall. Everyone was pleased with their meals. We enjoyed bread and salad before our entrees came. All of the entrees seemed well prepared and everyone enjoyed theirs. I got the chicken & sweet potato risotto which I enjoyed very much. The lasagna looked delicious, as did the crab cakes. My mom got the chicken pomodoro. I didn’t think it looked that good but she liked it very much. The dessert selection isn’t very large but we all enjoyed the mini desserts. My cream brûlée could have been torched a little more but that’s a personal preference. My parents absolutely loved the mini cheesecake. Our server was polite but could have been a little mor personable and prompt. I didn’t mind too much but someone in our party did mention that he seemed to be a little slow, so I took a star off for service. All in all it was an enjoyable meal and I would go back.

Here with my mom for a late lunch and we’ve never felt more uncomfortable at a chain restaurant before… From the hostesses to our server, to basically every employee working here, no one seems to want to be here. Everyone is awkwardly cold and distant and there are pairs of employees just walking around together chatting with customers’ food in their hands. Also not to mention that I saw three different servers touch food with their bare hands for no apparent reason. Our server took crackers off of a baking sheet with his bare hands and put them into a bag to give to the couple sitting next to us. Another server randomly squished down a piece of bread with his hand after it came out of the oven. Just a strange experience. The employees are certainly more interested in their own conversations than anything else. As for the food we ordered the sliced steak salad and the mushroom ravioli. Both were pretty good. The salad had a lot of yummy things on it. Candied pecans which weren’t coated in sugar, but perfectly sweet and nutty. Also the steak on it was tender and cooked well. The ravioli filling was cheesy but kind of thick and almost hard to swallow, almost. The sauce was mushroomy and delicious. The ravioli dough, I can make better at home. We’d come back only for the food.

It’s not Italian, it’s TUSCAN! Let Brio take you to the region of Tuscany with their delicious offerings of antipasti, pasta, meats, sweet desserts, and don’t forget about their AMAZING happy hour. I can tell the chefs take pride in their food execution by the flavor and excellent sauce placement on the food. Each server demonstrates outstanding customer service. Not too much else to say considering this is a chain restaurant but I am never disappointed! The wine selection is not great. But the food is ALWAYS delicious! 3 stars, 3.25 tops. Being the sucker for Somerset that I am, I’ve made my rounds here a few times now. This is a fun place to eat with its collosal floorplan and whimsical stylings but the food is only average. Same with the service. Dropped $ 50 on lunch for two last week. The salad was basic with iceburg(lol)ettuce and my grilled chicken sandwich came awfully close to being inedible. It was just a hunk of a thick, plain chicken breast smothered in an unassuming swiss cheese with a flavorless bun that didn’t come close to covering the sandwich by the time I was halfway done. The raspberry mojitos were tastfully crafted but weak on alcohol for their $ 8 price tag. Fried calimari was perfection in terms of texture but didn’t have much taste and I wasn’t interested in the underwhelming dipping sauce. I’ve had better luck with their pasta dishes in prior visits and will stick with what works on my next trip. The bar scene and happy hour is definitely legit at this location though. It draws a nice crowd of mall employees, local business types and shoppers who make it pleasant to mingle and enjoy the fairly energetic vibe here. They do serve a nice basket of warm bread and artisan crackers before your meal which is always welcome and impossible to resist. CPK, PF Changs and J Alexanders all get the nod over Brio at this mall imho. It’s not that it’s bad, it’s just not especially good at any price let alone with the Somerset tax tacked on.

My review is based on the WHOLE experience… yes, even the day after. I say this because it has NEVER happened to me that I STILL had the taste of the food in my mouth the next day… even after having brushed my teeth before bed and had water to drink in the night :-(Based on this event, I would like to be able to give Brio TG a 2 for the food AFTERmath and a 4 because in all, the service was VERY good and the food did taste good, the evening we had it :-) We went for my mom’s birthday since she remembered that the Fried Calamari were very good – she had them when she went with colleagues after work one evening some time ago. In fact, we did order them, and they were… however, my mom remembered there being more calamari. In our appetizer, there were calamari AND small green spicy peppers(mini ‘jalapeño poppers”?) to «buff» up the dish. Our waiter was very helpful and very good at finding us a nice medium dry Reisling wine that they had on their list :-) and more so, when my mom didn’t realize that there was a sauce on her entrée that she didn’t want, he quickly went back to the kitchen to take care of it. So, AGAIN, the service was VERY good and our waiter very responsible and kind. I ordered the Crab Cakes for dinner which came with a nice helping of grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes :-9 It tasted very good, along with everyone else’s dishes: one friend ordered the Gorgonzola Crusted Beef Medallions and our other friend ordered the Salmon Fresca Salad. For dessert, we all had the Chocolate Cake topped with Vanilla Ice Cream. I ONLY wish the taste of the dessert had stayed with me all night and into the morning vs. my savoury dish :-/ I will go back if I am with others who want to go, JUST to confirm this experience. Aside this, it is a nice space with a LARGE(maybe TOO large) menu…

Went here Friday afternoon for a late lunch. Their lunch menu is till 4:00, we were there at 3:00. Atmosphere is upscale but the service wasn’t what i expected. Our server didn’t know how to smile. Trying to get info out of her on the entrees was painful. We ordered Pasta Brio($ 14) and Chicken Milanese($ 18). They give you half a loaf of sourdough bread and a pad a butter which was tasty. They also give you these long hard wafers with herbs on them. They were disgusting being super hard and tasting like cardboard. Our entrees came within 30 minutes and were piping hot and tasted delicious. Fir dessert we had the molten cake and peanut butter cup. Both were to die for. Super tasty! They play 70 music in the restaurant. That was a total turn off. All in all not a bad lunch. A little pricey but the food was cooked well.

This was a pleasant little surprise! My boss took myself and some coworkers here for lunch on my birthday and it turned out to be a very special occasion. The waiter, Tyler, was extremely attentive and friendly. To start with we sampled the risotto and the shrimp with eggplant. The risotto wasn’t as creamy as I would expect, but I liked all of the vegetables and flavors in it. The shrimp and eggplant was my favorite of the whole meal. It was spicy, the eggplant was crispy, and the whole dish had a delightful spicy burn to it without overpowering all of the other flavors. For entrees we had the mahi mahi, the mushroom ravioli, and the pasta brio. The mahi mahi was nice and light with a touch of spice and lots of delicious vegetables. The ravioli tasted meaty and I liked that they were a little al dente with a butter sauce and cherry tomatoes. The pasta brio was creamy and delicious with mushrooms in the red pepper sauce. All of them were cooked well and I didn’t feel over or under seasoned. To end the meal the waited brought us the caramel marscapone cheesecake, and it was divine. It was swimming in an crème sauce and caramel drizzle with a cinnamon uppercrust and a soft yet firm cheesecake. I waddled out of here very thankful for take home boxes.

Love coming here with friends and family. The staff is very helpful in recommending good dishes. Everything tastes really good, so you can’t go wrong! I also like that they bring out little dessert samplers for you to look at, and based off that, you decide what kind of dessert you want. Will definitely be back for a family event.
