If I could give this company a score of zero stars, I certainly would. We’ve been using them since last fall and have never been wowed by them, but kept using them because it was too much of a hassle to get another company. Many of the things other cleaning companies have done for me routinely(like dusting light fixtures) are things I was told were deep cleaning items, rather than basic cleaning items. All along, I’ve noticed that there are cobwebs left in the corners and crumbs left under the cabinet lip, spots that can only be seen at a certain angle(or felt if you run your hand along top) left behind on counters, magazines and couch cushions left unstraightened. There has been no good attention to detail. Their approach has seemed unprofessional, as well, with frequent calls the day before or even the day of cleaning, asking to arrive early. I once had a cleaner show up 2 hours early and let herself in without ringing the bell first. I wasn’t even dressed yet. The manager, Matthew, doesn’t really seem to care if things go awry, as they did last clean and this one. He has a glib answer for everything and is argumentative. When my iPhone charger went missing this spring, Matthew assured me that employee was no longer with the company, but never offered to replace it and I didn’t press it. I kept using the company, even though I wasn’t thrilled with the service. However, after the last clean, I noticed that the team hadn’t even bothered to sweep under the kitchen table. That’s pretty basic. I informed Matthew and he assured me he would let the team know. When they left today, they again had not swept under the table. They had left completely visible messes on all the kitchen surfaces, including a dollop of bacon grease on the stovetop, spilled salt on a counter, and a food spot on the table. They hadn’t even emptied the sink strainer in an attempt to make it look like they had cleaned the sink. The rest of the house seems to have had an equally haphazard cleaning. When I spoke with Matthew about the long list of problems, he asked me if I was home during the cleaning and if I checked things as the team(of 2) cleaned, asking them to re-do things that weren’t done right. I was home, but I was working and it’s not my responsibility, anyway, to make sure his workers do their jobs. If they don’t know they’re supposed to clean the sink or don’t care if they don’t do it, it’s not my job to make them do it. I couldn’t believe he even asked me that. After speaking with Matthew and Robert, presumably from the main office, I have been told that they cannot refund even a portion of the money they charged me for this clean because the way the system is set up means their workers would not get paid and they can’t not pay their workers because it’s illegal. However, they could, they told me, offer a re-clean or a discount on the next cleaning. Well, frankly, I don’t have the time or inclination to supervise a re-clean, nor do I want people who are upset because I got them in trouble back in my house. Frankly, I think with adequate training and high expectations on the part of the company, the team would do a much better job. I certainly don’t want to book the company for another cleaning ever again, even at a discounted rate. Furthermore, if they can’t give me a refund or discount on this clean because they have to use my payment to pay the workers for the work they did, how do they pay the workers for the free re-clean or the next clean? It defies logic that they are telling me that because of the system they use, they cannot come up with money from elsewhere in their accounting system to give me a discount on this cleaning rather than the next.

Worst cleaning company ever. I had them come to clean my deceased relative’s home to ready it for sale. I showed them all of the areas needing cleaning before they started, which included a bathroom shower with some mildew. They missed many surface areas of cleaning, so much so that I had to go back and repeat the work. When they were half done with the bathroom, they quit and said they were worried about black mold. Why they didn’t tell me this beforehand, I don’t know? I explained that there is no way to know about black mold without testing it and just because it is black in color doesn’t mean it’s dangerous black mold. Typically that type of mold doesn’t grow on exposed shower tile. However, they refused to clean anymore of the home. I was also told they would wash dishware, but they refused. I called Matt to complain but got nowhere. Save your money and hire a different service, or just clean it yourself like I ended up having to do. My 12 year old niece would have done a better job than the three people from pro maids.

I had a horrible experience with this company. I purchased a groupon for cleaners to come in and clean our new condo. I spoke with Matt who seemed very polite and professional and told him I just wanted the wet areas cleaned. I have 3 ½ bath and a kitchen and wanted the windows wiped down and just a quick vacuum because I had the carpet cleaners coming right after. They showed up an hour late and decided to call me right at 7:00 when they were supposed to be there saying they had car troubles. They had four hours and two girls to complete this task. My grandma stopped in to check on the progress near the end(they had no vacuum, no mops) They seemed to be using rags for everything probably the same one for everything by the looks of it. The didn’t clean my stove, nor the refrigerator it still stunk to high heaven and residue on the front, top of cabinets not touched(tons of dust) foyer and kitchen floor looked greased in spots not cleaned. Bathrooms the sinks and counter tops were okay, the bath tub and shower not touched still soap scum on walls and creases. Windows not touched at all. They did not vacuum at all, there were dust balls and pennies on the ground when carpet lady came. When my grandma came they said they were going to stay an extra hour because they were late and weren’t finished yet. Good thing they did because they got nothing done on my list. To top it off they didn’t even go in the basement bathroom and foyer they said they ran out of time. So I called and complained to Matt the manager he just kept blowing me off and say what else. what else, well what about the upstairs. I just didn’t feel like he was retaining anything or writing it down he kept cutting me off. He argued and said we stayed an extra hour and our place was probably extra dirty. It was a fairly new condo with nothing in it so nothing to move and it was not that much for 2 girls for 5 hours. His response was send me pictures. Hmm well thanks buddy but you cant see the greasy glare on my floors in pics or the smell of my fridge or the soap scum on my bathroom walls. I just felt it was handled very unprofessionally. They also cashed my check with 24 hours so I wasn’t able to cancel it right away. So avoid this company at all costs. they don’t do a good job.
