We use A Step Above for weekly property checks, house cleaning, hot tub maintenance and minor home repairs. There is little they won’t do and they will always get a professional in as needed for you. They’ve helped assemble furniture, fix leaks, breakdown cardboard and do trash and recycling runs for us. Thanks A Step Above!

I was so upset to have this team for our renters needs. We have a big cabin and they never cleaned the whole house. The are way too expansive and are not capable of doing the basic job.

After eight years of excellent service the last year has been very disappointing. I was told by A Step Above that «they are very busy and wish they could give all their customers 100%». I told Jeff that I paid for 100% service. I bet they would not like it if I paid 80% of their bill. After discontinuing the service with A Step Above I was told I could pick up the keys to my home at their office. They had a problem returning the keys that I just paid them to have re keyed. I am still missing two keys to my home.

Sorry to say this, but after using a Step Above for over 2 years, the only service this company does well is send a bill. They consistently over promise and under deliver.
Their bi-​weekly home inspection process consisted of little more than informing me that a light needed changing or that there were cobwebs in the corners and that they would be happy to come back for a charge and take care of the issue.
When I did ask them to arrange a house cleaning, they were never able to take care of it in a timely manner and more often than not, the house was not thoroughly cleaned.
Any service that they do provide is provided by their «Certified» list of sub contractors who are family and friends. Their prices are not bid and the quality of their work is sub par.
I believe that they take us 2nd homers for granted. I wish they could have been better.

One of the true full service cleaning outfits in Truckee. Super professional service. Great if you are a 2nd home owner– they will do everything from turn the heat on, fill the fridge or just a clean after you visit.
I have called them for all sorts of odd jobs and they are always quick professional and easy to work with.
