I went to Lakeside Salon with all my hope of an amazing experience, Dawn promised a lot … and at the end … I was very, very disappointed !! One more hair stylist I do not like …
What happened? She says about herself … I help each client to find a color … I asked for a cool blonde tone for highlights … well she didn’t help me to find a color she choose one for me … she did not even offer a variety of cool blondes tones to look at it … what would fit me the best … so my so called highlights are here & there pretty yellowish… well I expect from a stylist doing the work for 20 years … and calling herself a specialist in color something better … for my haircut I wanted a layered short Bob hair cut … and now I look like rats has eaten on my hair … its a way shorter as I wanted … doesn’t look like a bob hair cut at all… but at least hair grow again … the only thing what was really great are my eye brows … she did a really good job on those … so I will not go back … it was a waste of money …

As a guy, all I need is a basic cut that I can trust. Stephanie at Lakeside has come through with consistent quality for quite some time.
This salon has everything the ladies need too for color, style, and nails. But, as a guy, I appreciate that it doesn’t smell like a chemical depot inside.
Sure, I pay a little more than the chain stores to get a good cut, but I’m also not paying extra for a beer, and ESPN, like the «manly» barber shops.
It’s easy to get to with lots of free parking near Tualatin Commons Park.

Not the best experience I’ve had. First, it’s hard to find. this business has no signs from the road. My cut is ok. I’ve had better. The stylist was nice enough.

I’ve never really found a hairstylist that I liked… until now! I have been coming here for almost a year! I originally bought a Groupon and absolutely loved the haircut and style so I decided that this was going to be my place!
Lindsey is professional and really takes the time to understand how I want my hair to be colored and styled. The first time that she did my hair, she had blow dryed it and realized that some of the product was still in my hair. Instead of ignoring it, she asked if she could rewash it! She told me she felt really bad but honestly I really appreciated how thorough she was. I’ve already made two appointments for the summer-​she fills up fast!

I just got home from the worst pedicure of my life. Not only was the salon where they do pedicures filthy, with dust everywhere, but the pedicure was done so poorly and my nails are left crooked with polish on my cuticles. The woman who does nails didn’t wash any of the equipment, including the pedicure tub, which I watched her re-​fill with water for the next customer. She was also on the phone for a majority of the service and when I asked for her to actually do what she was supposed to be doing (i.e. cut my cuticles, file my nails, buff them.. .) she acted annoyed. The Livingsocial that I bought said a spa manicure with Shellac and all I got was my nails filed (very poorly) with shellac put over them – no massage or anything else was done to the nails. She also got shellac all over my nails and under the beds and never had me wash in between as most salons do. Lastly, she wouldn’t let me look at the nail polishes before hand, forcing me to sit down, even though I couldn’t see the polishes she had. I had to then get up after she had washed my feet, walked across the salons dirty floors to where the polishes were. The polishes were old, with dust all over them and pretty much all shades of maroon and blush. I can’t say how disappointed that I spent $ 30 on this service and I seriously think this place is not up to code. Do not waste your money, or your time coming here – even if you bought the Livingsocial! I’m scared I’m going to wake up tomorrow with an infection!

Cute salon with good service. It’s not easy to see off the street but I guess thats what makes it really nice, kinda more private. Lindsay did my hair and I LOVE IT!!! I wanted to get a purple tin on my hair and we did it the 1^st time but the results i was looking for were not there. So at no cost she redid my hair until the results were what i was looking for. She also did a Brazilian Blow out and my hair looks great and feels great! I will for sure keep coming back to Lake Side Salon and see Lindsay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone of my friends and family.
