Centric Photo Processing

This is the only place I trust to print my photos. I’ve worked with the beautiful and talented Julie for years. She is very detailed oriented, helpful and kind. They treat you like family and actually appreciate your business. The quality of the printing is terrific. They are always on time or early with my photos. I am a customer for life. Highly recommend Centric for your photo needs! My favorite local photographer has used Centric for years. I am so pleased with how gorgeous the print turned out. The coloring and quality are top notch. I wondered if Centric was only for professional photographers to have their prints developed, so I inquired with the owner. He said Centric has a website to send your pics for developing. I wish I would have known about this sooner because Walgreens photo lab has nothing on Centric. I felt compelled to write this review so that people that have photos that they want to look amazing when developed are aware of this awesome local biz. Excellent quality and prices are comparable.

Very happy to have found Centric Photo. I had a special project that needed some photo editing and resizing photos out to a specific size. Prints came out great — I am amazed at how quickly and professionally this got done. Very reasonable cost, too, especially considering the amount of work and effort it would have taken me to do this elsewhere or attempt the project myself. What a nice place! I’ll definitely be going back for any photo editing or printing in the future.

These are the only true professionals in town. I am a professional photographer with 50 years experience. When I moved back to Tucson (this is home) 16 years ago I tried two other labs (names omitted) and was appalled at what was called «professional» work. Scratches, smudges, unbalanced colors, crooked printing. Centric with Richard, Julie, Jen, and the entire gang have an eye for detail: they know what matters and are conscientious. They have done multi-​thousands of dollars work for me.
Now, I’m trying to reduce clutter in my home office. I’m still a very busy author and photographer, and I’m having negs and slides (Kodachrome) scanned into an external back-​up hard drive. Their work is great. Their attention to detail on this project, too, has been outstanding.

Centric is THE place in Tucson for photo stuff. If you can describe it, they can do it, from giant inkjet prints to your vacation snapshots. They make a big effort to accommodate customer requests and custom work, and the staff will work with you to get your final product looking the way you want it. It’s a little more expensive than your average Wallgreen’s 1 hour developer, but your prints will get the personal attention they deserve, and it’s more reasonable than the other professional labs in town (Photographic Works, I’m looking at you…).
One note though, they have moved since this entry was made, and they’re now at 4001 E Pima. It’s just east of Alvernon on the north side of Pima, set a little bit away from the street. The building is a kind of rose-​colored adobe, and can be easy to miss the first time around, but once you’ve been once, you’ll be able to spot it easily. There’s a sign high up on the front of the building, and a handy picture of the location on their website, along with a map.
**DISCLAIMER: I did work at Centric for a summer between college semesters, and had a great time. However, I only started working there because my father (a local photographer) and I had been sending our pictures there for years and grown to love it already. I don’t work there anymore, but still send my stuff to them when I’m in town.**

Richard and his staff are top shelf and they get things done right and on time. Why take your photo stuff anywhere else? You just won’t find better service.
