I always order pizza, sandwiches and wonderful chef’s salads among other food and it is always so good. Last night I did order a pizza and sad to say something not very good about the pizza. Can’t put my finger on it but just doesn’t take right. Hope they review and maybe they can fix. I did call them but…

Nothing special, also way charged a $ 6 delivery fee because I just missed the cut off even though I received coupons at my house for free delivery.

Fantastic gyros both the sandwich alone and the platter. Thin crust pizza by the slice is a meal unto itself. The salads we have ordered are boring and lack toppings of quality. Much to heavy on the iceberg, not cut small enough to eat with good manners. I felt a bit ripped off. Delivery is free when you pay with cash which is great because I can tip the driver better.

This is one of my favorite places to order at least once a week… I haven’t had anything from here I haven’t liked. The pizza and sandwiches are on point and if you order via eatstreet you can get some awesome deals. If you’re ordering pizza for 1 I highly recommend just getting a slice it’s huge and you get almost as much as a small pizza. If you aren’t feeling pizza my favorite sandwich is the Italian grinder in all of its greasy glory. The breadsticks are amazing and you get a bunch for the price… you can’t go wrong with this place

Ordered pizza and wings for my guys at our store and it took 2HOURS for the food to be delivered when I called to talk to someone I was hung up on and when I called back I was put on hold indefinitely. Not cool! We want to support places in the neighborhood but sadly chariot is off the list.(The guys said everything was tasty though)

Ordered delivery it arrived on time and hot. We ordered bread sticks, Greek salads and a Greek pizza. The salads were decent, not bad not knock your socks off either. Bread sticks were very good. Sadly the pizza was raw. We tossed the pizza. Called the manager they made it right with us hence the three stars when the meal was only two stars. Not sure how this is Tucson’s best pizza kinda afraid to try the others.

This is right up the street from where I work, so it’s a favorite of all of us that order about once a week. The breadsticks with marinara sauce is way more flavorful than the pizza. The pizza is quite good, but I believe NYPD has them beat in the pizza dept and so does Jimmy’s. Chariot is flavorful and generously topped but it has a weird oiliness to it which takes away from the flavor and especially the texture. But the prices are very fair and it is consistent and timely. The service is polite, and the atmosphere is really nice too. The smell from the parking lot is enticing too. I guess, for me, if they figure out the oil issue a little bit, they’d be a solid 5. Judge for yourself, I think it’s worth it.

The bread sticks, geek salad, and pizza is amazing! So much flavor and huge proportions as well. Doesn’t cost a lot either. The staff is friendly and very nice, great place. [:

Ordered a large Rocky special for delivery. The pizza arrived hot and ready to eat. To be honest, i wasn’t expecting that much, but I have to say it was just great. Great toppings, crust, sauce and cheese. You know how sometimes sausage and pepperoni on a pizza doesn’t really taste like anything, and it is more of a decoration than a topping, well not here. The sausage and pepperoni were really tasty and spicy like how it should be. I’m really impressed and I look forward to trying their greek food and other pizza offerings!

$ 28 for a pizza and it arrived in twenty minutes. My first thought was hmmmm, how could it be cooked? I live ten minutes from the restaurant. It wasn’t cooked, in fact it was doughy and nearly without sauce. We had to put it in the oven for another 10 minutes just to get it to firm up enough to hold it and keep it from falling apart. This is usually my go to always dependable pizza place, we order numerous times a month at my workplace, in fact have been known to order a dozen or more. But in the future, I can’t say we will do that. It’s not inexpensive and if this is what they’ve turned into… Then no thanks

A friend of mine claimed this was the best pizza in Tucson. While a bit skeptical of the tiny little pizza place in the middle of a strip mall, we gave it a shot for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised on how good it was. Crust was semi soft and had a nice flavor, topping were plentiful and fresh, and the sauce went well with the overall picture. I would come back here again, but the price was a little higher than what I was willing to pay.

Chariot must have their menu down to a science. I’ve now ordered pizza and other items from both locations and the quality is consistently the same(and very high). I mentioned this in the review for the other location and it bears repeating: Chariot offers easily one of the top three pizza crusts in town. There’s no skimping on toppings and the chicken wings are cooked perfectly. Rich’s recommendation: Ben Hur your way to either of the Chariot locations.

My sister and I ordered this pizza once and while it was good it just wasn’t truly great. She had moved to a new neighborhood and we wanted to try something new. They were friendly when taking our order and our pizza arrived fast and still hot. There was just something missing with the flavor of the sauce maybe? The crust was bland and there was just no real wow factor. While I wouldn’t be against ordering from there again, I just haven’t since.

I just moved to this area of town and Eat Street suggested this place and with the healthy star rating from Unilocal,I decided to give this place a try and OHMY! First of all — holy crunchy(on the outside), chewy(on the inside), buttery, parmesany, delicious, amazing bread sticks. Home made, inconsistent in shape, not big pizza joint boxy and blah. My favorite. Just eat them. If you have read my review on another pizza place you will know that pizza is not my thing so all I can say is I have 4 thumbs up from the hubs and kids(8 if you count they used both hands). Delivery is fast, polite and always hot. They always make sure to double wrap their delicious wings in another bag to make sure the sauce does not get everywhere in their car and in my food. I always order in app and they have great rewards! Price is great too. Over all. Love it. Great choice. Try it.

So, I’ve been a loyal Brooklyn’s fan for a long time. I really never thought I’d switch Pizza places. Then I tried Chariot. The Pizza goes toe-to-toe in quality, but slightly different in style. Chariot is just bit thicker. Chariot does have the major advantage of offering Gyro meat as a topping. Chariot is also more full service. They offer wings and Cinnamon bread, which are both delicious. We ordered there delivery, it took about 40 minutes, as opposed to Brooklyn’s 60 – 75 minutes. Their real advantage over Brooklyn’s is price. Pizza, wings, cinnasticks, delivery and tip worked out to be a bit less money the just the pizza at Brooklyn’s.

I love Chariot pizza! Delivery was fast, and the driver was nice, plus– he remembered all the sides. Great prices and tasty pizza without gallons of grease.

All I can ask is: What happened? Dude, there was a reason Chariot won best pizza in Tucson recently. The crust is amazing, the sauce is New York perfection and the toppings are fresh and always the perfect ratio. In fact, Chariot is/was so good that we went out of our way to get it(not close by but they will deliver to this crappy dive bar on 1st and Ft Lowell so having a drink while you wait isnt so bad). But lately, LATELY!, Chariot has been sucking so hard it’s made us all slap our foreheads and go «What the fxxk happened?» About a month ago we were craving Chariot pizza, so we placed the order, went down to the crappy bar and waited. Here was our order, quite simple and very direct: Greek salad with NOOLIVES, extra dressing(I always add more lettuce when we get home) and a large pizza half mushroom/half peperoni. Easy right? So the order arrives like 45 minutes later, we finish our drink, go home and prepare to dig in. When we open the pizza box we were horrified to witness that instead of just not putting olives on the salad, they decided to put all the olives ONTHEPIZZA. And we hate olives! I mean, who does that? How freakin’ stoned were you Kyle to think«Hmm…no olives on the salad eh? That must mean they want them transferred to the pizza. Brilliant. Here you go customer! A plethora of black briny buttholes to complete your meal. Enjoy!» So we painstakingly remove the myriad of black olives and are finally ready to eat. So we take a bite and realize something is wrong. The bleazys in the kitchen also must have thought«Well, if we’re going to put all these olives on their pizza, why not TRIPLE the cheese and literally use a TEASPOON of sauce to make their pizza night that much more magical? Three Michelin stars comin’ right up!» We were pissed. They went from 10 to 2 faster than us tossing the whole pie into the bin and screaming«Did they change ownership? Do they not care anymore? Is the crown of best pizza in Tucson so heavy they cant see what the fxxk they’re doing? What gives?» Cut to just recently, we were tired and very hungry and decided to give Chariot another chance. But lets order the nightly special and a salad to see if they still have it in them. So we order the pasta special, a Greek salad(please lord god Jesus in heaven. spare us from this torment of Chariot and their random olive redistribution. If we find olives rammed into our manicottis and baked in their secret olive sauce served on a bed of olive infused cheese olives I might have to flush my own head down the toilet) and some garlic bread and wait. My wife goes down to the bar, I stay home to clean up and get ready for the food to arrive. When she comes home like an hour later she is livid. Apparently, after about 45 minutes, she called to ask where our food was. «I dont know», said the girl as if being asked by the principal why she set fire to the girl’s bathroom. My wife then asked if she had any idea of when it might arrive. «I dont know», she said in the same manner. «Like, it already went out, so, I cant, like, track it or whatever.» Wow. Hey. Thanks for the confidence and the gold star customer service. I enjoy spending our money on furthering the lobotomization of local teens, that is if that is where my money is going to that evening. We bite into the pasta, it is bomb. Whew! We then open the salad to find, yay!, no olives, but… it is the WRONGSALAD. We wanted feta cheese and peroncinis and all that goodness. What we got was some iceburg lettuce, a ton of poorly chopped red onions and 2 cherry tomatoes. Sigh. OK, I doctored the salad up enough to make it edible, but, still, really Chariot pizza? What happened man? I feel like I’m watching my best friend go down to the horrors of meth addiction. I don’t wanna see you go man. But if we have to, then we gotta let you go… Thing is, we are a Three Strikes family so we’re going to give it a while and if you come through like you used to then we’re good. Please let’s hope that happens. Otherwise, if we order something and you just hand us a warmed up jar of olives and a box full of pictures of sad puppies behind bars, then it’s going to be rough but… we’re going to move on. Please dont go down that road Chariot. Remember the good times we had?

Spurred on by the Best Pizza Competition with the 2 choices narrowed down to this place and Renee’s Organic Oven, we decided we needed to find out what the fuss was all about. I love Renee’s and her veggie pizza has always been a favorite of mine. Fair is fair and we needed to make sure we weren’t missing another gem. Well, disappointment is one word for my experience here. We arrived a little after lunch time and were the only paying customers to be seated. I’ll just leave it at that. We ordered a pizza and asked for«no feta.» She wrote it down, we paid, took a seat, and waited about 30 minutes before getting our food. It arrived WITH feta cheese. We were given styrofoam plates to use with our plastic utensils and told without a smile«Enjoy your meal.» Not very friendly. The décor is dated and while the tables looked clean, some of the walls were dirty and in need of a coat of paint. The glass doors through which you enter were very dirty. I always wonder if the part we customers see needs attention, what is the kitchen like? The pizza: I did not care for it at all. It was a vegetarian pizza and I believe one of the problems was it was loaded up with so much that it didn’t seem baked properly and no veggie flavors came through. The top of the pizza kept sliding off every time you tried to take a bite. I guess I’m still in total amazement that this place beat out so many other really fine pizza places. I kept asking my friend, «Are you sure we’re in the right place?» Well, we were. And I have to say I doubt that I will ever return with so many other great places to choose from. NOV. 20UPDATE: Congratulations to Chariot for being voted Best Pizza. Renee’s Organic Oven came in second place.
