Christie’s Appliance

I can’t say enough nice things about Christie’s. We have bought appliances from them for 25 years. Our most recent purchase was a washing machine that turned out to be a «lemon.» The store manager and the company supported us when the manufacturer insisted our washing machine problems were «user errors.» We documented everything we did to follow all instructions and Christie’s went to bat for us. The situation was completely resolved. Thank you, Pablo and thank you, Christie’s. Support our local businesses!

A week ago, on a Sat. morning, we stopped in to check out refrigerators, greeted immediately by a gentleman who turned out to be the store manager. Nice man, good information, answered questions, left to check out competitors. Returned a few hours later, same nice guy welcomed us in and we ended up buying a whole new kitchen. All delivered and installed by Tuesday afternoon. Two absolutely excellent men spent over 90 mins here, pulling out old, installing new, answering all our questions and passing on all they could about the three pieces. Highly recommend this store. If ever the need arises I will go back to them first!

Think again before you spend your money at Chrisite’s. They are not dependable or good to their word. The delivery truck was scheduled and they said they would call the morning of delivery. I’ve talked to at least two people, including Mark our sales person to ensure delivery. When I did not hear from them by noon I called them. They said they did not have it scheduled and refused to come and deliver my refrigerator. We had just moved into a new home after traveling for four days. We needed our refrigerator as promised. When I asked to speak with someone I charge they said the owner would call me. He did call and aplogoize but when I told him I would hesitate to purchase the remainder of my appliances from them because This had all been arranged ahead of time he HUNG UP on me. Wow, not a professional outfit! I am amazed at the owner’s behavior. Be sure I will let others know to avoid Christies.

My experience with this store always goes 1 of 2 ways…
#1: I walk in and the salespeople don’t acknowledge me or say anything to me, nor do they even seem to realize I’m in the store. After a few moments of walking around looking at appliances in total silence, I leave. (And usually end up at Home Depot to buy the appliance).
#2: The salespeople notice me, welcome me, assist me if needed and answer my questions. After a few moments of walking around looking at appliances I leave… usually when the #2 option happens, I leave having bought an appliance from them.
When I have bought from here, I have been satisfied with my experience.
Oh, and this should go without saying, but I highly prefer the #2 route…

My initial experience with Christies was really fantastic. I got a great price on an Electrolux washing machine with very little sales pressure and it was delivered the next day. I felt that I asked a lot of questions, and my concerns were all answered. Up until yesterday, they would have maintained a 5 star in my mind.
My problem is that I was lied to by the sales person and this was just discovered yesterday. I purchased the washing machine at a discount because it was the floor model. My purchase was made in Summer of 2012 and I was told the machine was a 2011 model and they were clearing it out to make room for the new model. Great, I can live with that. Unfortunately, the display went out yesterday — just after a few months of owning it. It is covered under warranty, but after running the manufacturer serial numbers, Electrolux tells me the machine is a 2008 model, NOT a 2011. Please don’t LIE to people about what you are selling to them! I’m glad I purchased the extended warranty, but I’m just urked about not being told the truth. Un cool Christie’s!

I have shopped at Christie’s for years. All my kitchen appliances and washer/​dryer were bought and installed and maintained by Christie’s and I have been very happy with their service.
The staff is knowledgeable and the prices are very fair and competitive. Their selection is large and they carry excellent lines of stoves, washer/​dryers, microwave/​convection ovens, and refrigerators.
I trust them and that’s why I always shop with them and refer friends to them. Mr. Christie died quite a few years ago but the people who bought the store are Tucson family folks.
I’m happy to say that tomorrow they are delivering my new stove.
