Where can you go and get an hour massage for $ 35?! They are students who need practice hours and I am a willing subject. The students are receptive to your comments and there is an evaluation at the end. You are in a large room that has cloth partitions. You are not in your own private room but it is private enough for $ 35.

A fan of massages? On a budget? This place fits both of those life circumstances! For a mere $ 30, you can get a quality 50 minute massage. Seriously, I don’t go elsewhere — it’s consistently that good.
For those of you who are used to getting massages, be forewarned that the Cortiva experience is a bit different than the usual spa experience. For example, the massage therapists are in training and ask for feedback after your massage — they provide the survey, you fill it out in lieu of leaving a tip. In addition, you won’t be escorted into your own private room — instead students and their clients are in one big room, with privacy created by curtains. This means that you can sometimes hear another massage therapist inquiring about how a particular client is doing, but I’m usually able to block out the whispering and focus instead of getting those pesky knots out of my shoulders. The other drawback is that massages are only offered at specific times, so you may not be able to call and get a same day appointment.
Did I mention that you get a quality 50 minute massage for only $ 30? Right, I’m not sure that I even needed to say more.

$ 30 massage? yes please!!! since its a massage school, and the masseuse’s are still learning, it’s dirt cheap and they don’t accept tips. the massage i had was very good, not mind blowing, but they’re students. don’t go to a massage school and expect a professional massage. the student i had was great, and very receptive (and reactive) to any feedback. the massages are all in one room, split up by curtains, so your privacy is not compromised. the place was very clean, and run with professionalism. i was definitely pleased!

I have been back a few times now and have continued to get good student massages. The online discount is no longer available making all massages now $ 30. Still the cheapest in town. The school is on a quarter system and in between each quarter there is a 2 week break when no massages are offered. The upside is that during this time they offer AMAZING package deals… last time my husband got one that was 5 massages for $ 100… can’t beat that anywhere!
