Each sushi roll we ordered was a work of art. We did not have sashimi but our squid and cucumber salad were delicious. Our waitress was so sweet and I ordered the fresh coconut which came in a coconut to drink and I was too full to eat so she sliced in half and liquid was in a cup to come home. The décor and higher chair and table are very comfy and I was very pleased by service and food. The price seemed about average and I have 4 stars as I have to try again and try sashimi to see if it will make 5 !

Delicious food, cheap sushi, and awesome Thai tea! Small location, super friendly staff, and cheap! This place is a must if you like sushi and phở

I love coming here for the small and quiet atmosphere. The phở is great, plenty of sauces to add to it if you want. Sushi is fresh! Nagiri on fire is awesome. Very attentive service. I have nothing bad to say about this place!

I’ve been in here three times, always for lunch and with one other person. Service: 5⁄5 Very polite, quite prompt, moderately attentive, and not very friendly Food: 4⁄5 Sushi is always beautifully presented and relatively fresh, if uninspired; the drinks I’ve tried have been well-made, but – again – generic; consistency is not a thing here… I’ve seen the same roll come out two different ways and the same tea come out three different ways (NOTE: we’ve only eaten their sushi and have had the Thai tea, the black tea, the Vietnamese coffee, and the iced green tea) Atmosphere: 3⁄5 There is an unnecessary television and the volume is always up on some inane show that the staff is watching; typical to little sushi places, there’s all kinds of crap on the walls; beautiful granite-topped tables and comfy padded dining chairs Cleanliness: 4⁄5 Granite tables hide sticky spots sometimes and I hate the communal grab-your-own-silverware trays that everyone can touch Value: 5⁄5 Sushi prices are quite reasonable Overall, this place is good and I like the location(right next door to my hair/nails salon). It’s comfortable and the décor is fun to look at. I’d move them up to a 5 if their sushi was fresher or if they turned off that stupid television. It’s somewhere I’ll go back to(probably the next time I go for a mani/pedi or a haircut), but not somewhere I’ll go out of my way to go.

After trying this restaurant based on the Unilocal reviews… I found that their PHO was alright. Not my favorite as the broth was either too sweet or, too salty. and the Phở Ga… was actually chicken thighs rolled into little chicken balls. Sadly, I feel as though I have had better. The sushi however, seemed really well prepared and the service was very good. Also their«ice tea» is a blend of jasmine and green tea. Whatever the tea was… I would recommend. Great atmosphere and love the decorations within this restaurant.

I can’t remember the combo name, but I got the Phở with beef flank and California roll. The phở was a bit salty, but I love that they gave a good amount of meat. When we first got there, they gave us a piece of paper that had their specials on it — I wanted edamame and my friend wanted miso soup. The waitress told us that we couldn’t order them yet because they didn’t have it. Minor annoyance, but hey, they’re fairly new. All-in-all, a decent place for Phở and sushi

I was a bit hesitant to visit this new est, when I viewed it a couple months ago the reviews were iffy however I’m glad we took a chance! The décor is very relaxing with nicely designed dark and light colored marble topped tables that offset each other nicely, there are several mirrors throughout and it’s a small seating area that increases the sense of intimacy. I can only have one roll when eating sushi by myself so I opted for the Monster Roll with crab inside topped with salmon and a nice side of fried onions and fish eggs. I’m not usually a fan of salmon but along with the roll, onions, and simple sauce it was topped with it was a delight. Hubby had the Chicken Lemongrass Chili which was amazing! I’ve ordered this at Ha Long Bay and it was not flavorful to say the least. Sushi Phở serves it in a large bowl with peanuts and some other crispy things with sauce on the side. The sauce had fantastic flavor, although hard to pick out one in particular to explain, and a nice heat after the initial bite. The kicker is the price! While my five piece roll was $ 10, hubby’s was $ 8, and they offered other rolls like the Cali 8 piece starting at $ 5 up to $ 10 with many options mid range between those two. Lastly out service was good as well, it seems to be family run. Out waitstaff was a teenage girl that was very courteous and prompt in all our dealings.

5 stars for the best sushi I’ve had since moving to the east side. Sushi is fresh, staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the prices are very reasonable. And they have two of my favorite Asian selections… sushi and phở!

I was so excited to see this restaurant show up by me on the east side of Tucson. So far my experience wasn’t too good. I ordered their grilled beef sandwich. The old Wendy’s commercial popped in my head«Where’s the Beef?» I had to check to see if they remembered to put the meat inside. It was a nice size baguette with a tiny portion of meat. Please try and check out my photo. I tried a couple of their sushi rolls too and they were okay. The ingredients tasted very fresh. I feel bad that it’s hidden behind the big building DSW, and I hope they can stay afloat because places in that shopping center don’t seem to do well.

I went right when they opened and got my rolls within 10 minutes. I got the tuna mini roll & Vegas roll and both were delicious! Staff was really friendly and attentive. My only complaint is they were stocking the table while I was eating. Not a big deal but being they just opened I would imagine it was something that should have been done at closing/before opening or at least wait until I’m gone. I will definitely come back and reccomend this place to friends, family and strangers.

At most sushi places, I’ve found that you can typically only get 3 out of the 5 options below: Quality Freshness Price Service Rice-to-Sushi Ratio Fresh Sushi Phở is the first place I’ve found that you can get all five of those options. Its easy to judge Fresh Sushi Phở by its cover. Its a very small restaurant located inside a strip mall with DSW, Moon Smoke Shop, some salon I’ve never heard of before, and a flooring company. Its new, and they don’t just specialize in Sushi. But its seriously the best thing since sliced bread. I like a lot of different sushi places in Tucson, but with each one I have something I don’t like about it(being one of the five options I listed before) but this place has it all. The presentation and quality of the sushi was great, and is easily just as good as any«high-end» sushi place I’ve been to. The sushi was fresh, just like their name suggests. The price is about half of what you would expect and get from any other local sushi joint. The service was fast, and the waitstaff was kind and helpful with the menu. And its one of the first places that has an AMAZING rice-to-sushi ratio. Usually with cheap sushi, you get a LOT of rice. Even with expensive sushi sometimes, you get a LOT of rice. This place has the perfect ratio going on. The pieces(even the deep fried ones) are just big enough to fit in your mouth with one bite. The perfect size, if you ask me. There’s a lot of options for sushi in Tucson, and I’ve always liked one more than the other depending on what I was looking for that day. But, I’m officially breaking up with all of those sushi restaurants for the well rounded Fresh Sushi Phở.

Love this place. Food is great and they deliver to my office. Highly recommend the Shrimp Lo Mein. Lots of flavor but not super greasy like some other places and the portions are huge. And as a coffee junkie, the Sensation of Vietnam Boba rocks.

Sushi — my favorite! This place doesn’t disappoint and has been my go-to spot since they opened. I’ve enjoyed the squid salad, salmon sashimi, seaweed salad and a slew of roles. Check em out — you’ll be happy you did!

My husband, my friend and I stopped in and he and I had Phở & Sushi, while my friend had the Chicken Fried Rice(she is not a fan of Sushi, but she tried the Vegas Roll for the first time!) Our Phở was DELISH, and we ended up ordering a second Vegas Roll, as it was that good! The service was exceptional, and we plan to be back! Plus, we got«baby fix» with the tiniest 9 month old baby!(That was a plus for us! LOL!) We WILL be back! My only regret is that we did not take any pictures!

We tried Sushi Phở for the first time. The fish tasted very fresh but the portions were a little smaller than what we are used to. We had a selection of sushi and sashimi along with several rolls. 2 of the rolls were tempura fried and one was not. All were very enjoyable. The sushi chef was very friendly along with the rest of the staff. We hope to return to try the phở.

Ok I’m not going to rate their customer service since it’s just open and staffs are new. This review is only for their food. We ordered Phở dac biet, lemon grass beef with noodle, spring rolls and one salmon roll. Phở’s broth is tasteless and of coz you gonna need help from hoisin and Sriracha sauce; very little meat… Lemon grass beef is under seasoned, we expect a good aroma and flavor from the meat, but no, just plain; and on top of that, the fish sauce is plain as well, it does a poor job complimenting the dish. Spring rolls are ok, peanut sauce is good. Sushi is bad and it’s understandable since it’s not a sushi place, I guess $ 5 is worth it for 8 super small pieces of sushi rolls. In short, the restaurant need to put way more work toward food quality, very nice decoration though. I love their seat, very comfortable :)

Hands down BEST Phở, in Tucson. This restaurant has perfected the food art of Phở. The broth is delicious and makes you feel more than just satisfied; It’s like the ultimate soul soup. Noodles are just soft and brittle that melts in your mouth. The meat that comes in the soup is quality, the meatballs weren’t just the ordinary tough meatballs that you get at any Phở place, but tender, juicy and exquisite to the bite in your mouth. Honestly, this is the only place I will EVER eat phở in Tucson. Now, with that being said… Sushi… Possibly the worst SUSHI, I have ever had. I had ordered a Dragon roll, Baked Scallop Roll, squid salad. Dragon Roll: they only provided three pieces of eel which any restaurant does, but they didn’t warm up OR toast the eel so that it wouldn’t be so rubbery. What a waste of money. A sushi chef who can’t properly make a dragon roll is less than mediocre. Baked Scallop Roll: Baked sauce on top of the scallops were good, but that’s it. They only placed one small baby scallop per piece. C’mon! That screams CHEAPSUSHI from an establishment that is called«Fresh Sushi-Phở». Not even close to being fresh. Oh! I also forgot to mention that the sushi came out when my table was finished with the Phở soup. Meaning– it took the sushi chef, FUCKING30minutes to make TWO sushi rolls. Pathetic. Don’t waste your time on sushi here.

I drove by Fresh Sushi Phở on the way home from work and noticed a «now open» sign from the road. I love phở and sushi so this place is right up my alley. A place where I can get a piping hot bowl of phở and some salmon nigiri on the side? Sign me up! The husband and I decided to go check it out for dinner and it ended up being their first night open! The restaurant is small but nicely decorated and has tables of various sizes including some high tops. There is also a sushi bar takes up the back wall of the restaurant. We were told to seat ourselves so we did. I picked a table that was still a little dirty but hey it’s opening night so we just wiped it with a napkin. no big deal. A man got up from the table next to us and asked us if we knew what we wanted to drink which really caught me off guard but I’m thinking he must have been the owner. I ordered a thai iced tea and we both got waters. A woman came over to bring drinks and take our order. They were quite busy for their first night and the staff seemed a little overwhelmed. In fact, the woman stopped taking our order half way through and we had to get her to come back to finish. After that it was smooth sailing though and we all laughed off that we hadn’t finished ordering. We started with the spring rolls which were delicious and half the price you’ll find them for elsewhere! Lots of fresh tasty ingredients including veggies, shrimp and pork wrapped in rice paper served with peanut sauce… DOIT. I ordered the Phở Tai which I was pleased with. The broth had flavorful and the beef was very lean and in good size pieces. It was served with your standard toppings — bean sprouts, thai basil, cilantro, lemon(I’m used to lime!) and some jalapeño. We also ordered some sushi which was fresh and very tasty albeit a little skimpy on the fish. I had to order the Mr. L because it sounded good but I wasn’t quite sure what it was. It ended up basically being a hybrid of nigiri and a roll which was interesting! Salmon wrapped around rice topped with spicy tuna and some avocado. There were definitely a few kinks but that’s completely expected the first night — we will be back to check them out again after they’ve had some time to sort things out.
