Jack In The Box

This restaurant had the worst service I have ever had at any restaurant. We were passing through Tucson during dinner time. Jack and the Box is usually fast and fresh (as far as fast food joints go). There were 3 – 4 cars in the parking lot and no cars in the drive through. We thought we’d gotten lucky… no lines! Boy were we WRONG! A guy comes over the speaker asking to take my order. When it was longer than 2 items he said «hold on… I’m at a grill. «I wait 30 seconds or so and he asks me to repeat my order. So I proceed to repeat it and he starts yelling it (in my ear, over the drive thru speaker) to some girl who was apparently across the restaurant. When I got to 3 items (I was ordering for a family of four) he interrupts me and says «I only have 4 minutes to complete your order and you’ve already used 3 of them just placing your order. Can you come inside? It would be more convienient for us.» Seriously? We left and drove across town until we found some place else to eat.

We always get a late night bite at Jake-​in-​Box at grant the store is old and needs a remodel. Although, food is always fresh and not left under heat lamps. The people are always great! They get 4 stars based on comparing to other fast food restaurants. If it was compared to a sit down olive garden I would give it a 2. We just always have to remember where were at. So, go thru the drive thru and get a munchie box.

It’s a Jack in the Box — service was friendly, order was correct. That’s about all I can ask for, right?

This was the 1^st time I’d eaten at a Jack In The Box in over 9 years. I got sick the last 2 times so I swore I’d never go to another. But the power of advertising and proximity got the best of me. I got a spicy chicken sandwich. WOW, was it spicy. Well, I am a spice wimp. But with that said so far no illness. This location doesn’t smell bad like the other location. So, that must be the case. But I’ve eaten at places that didn’t smell good and didn’t get sick and I’ve gotten sick at places that smelled ok. So, I don’t think that’s it.
The counter person was real nice and friendly. The chicken lived up to it’s name by being delivered fast and spicy. All in all a good experience.

I don’t know what it is about this location but I try not to eat here. Maybe I’m turning over a new leaf and will no longer eat fast food (yeah right), or maybe I just don’t like the vibe here. anyway Id rather drive an extra couple miles to go to another location.
