This place is a quick and easy place to get a quick lunch– we go in off times so it’s not that busy– the French onion soup is the best soup and Ruben sandwiches — that’s our usual– everything else is fabulous– try their specials– they’re usually really good too– anything roast beef you can’t go wrong and save room for the complimentary ice cream! Also try their black current iced tea– that’s really good too!

Food was good, service good too. My wife noticed that the people working the counter were giving away food to friends. Just a heads up, couldn’t prove it but she swears it happened. We were there on the 15th October at about 5:00 pm.

I’ve only had catering services from Jason’s Deli but each time I’ve enjoyed the items I’ve had. Our meals have always been fresh(hot if hot meals; good quality salad/cool if supposed to be). My favorite so far is the chef salad(cold cuts, egg, cheese, lettuce) that comes with their yummy homemade ranch dressing. The bacon, avocado, turkey sandwich is also good but a but heavy for lunch. Cookies are a little different tasting but who can turn down a little mid day sugar rush? .

I happened upon this place while visiting a relative in a hospital close by and was pleasantly surprised. I never would have given it much thought. The sign is very unassuming and nothing on the outside is too telling about all that Jason’s Deli offers. They offer complimentary breads, muffins and frozen yogurt with every order. Awesome! It reminds me of Souplantation in California(aka Sweet Tomatoes in other states). But this place specializes in sandwiches and wraps instead of salads. However, they do offer a salad bar that is substantial and fresh. Service was professional and polite. Runners took the time to remind us of the freebies available which was reassuring. California club sandwich came on a flakey croissant with a choice of house made potato chips, blue corn tortilla chips with salsa, fruit or soup. I tried the turkey avocado wrap which was good. The only complaint was that it was on the smaller side, rather flat and deflated looking. I’ll definitely remember Jason’s Deli for a healthier lunch or dinner option in the future and I look forward to seeing what else they have to offer.

Manny G has great customer service and he is very knowledgable about the food that they serve. He was pleasant at the register and then came around while we were eating to ensure we knew of the complimentary items at the salad bar and the free ice cream after we are done eating. The food was amazing(I had the Amy’s Turkey-O, and their broccoli cheese soup is great!!! Definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Awesome place for a quick lunch. It’s a bit overprices for what you get, but the place is well taken care of. About 4 different staff members asked my table if we were ok, if we needed anything, & if we needed any refills; the drinks are self-serve, so that was above and beyond customer service. There is definitely better places to eat in terms of food, but it’s definitely an excelent place to go if you’re w/a picky person; the staff is so overwhelingly attentive, it makes the mediocre food taste pretty damn good hahaa I know it’s all I’ve talked about, but I really need to stress the customer service; I would never go back for the food, but the people are way too cool.

I didn’t give them 5 stars cause there’s always room for improvement. Aside from the fact that they remembered my name, the food is great and the service is good.

Great service from really nice people. The food is great. It’s always fresh and amazing! I love how healthy they are. You can get junk anywhere but they really go out of their way to provide healthy combinations. They are fairly priced for what they offer. Good taste in a comfortable environment comes second to nutritionally balanced meals to me. I’ll gladly go out of my way to have lunch here. The only thing I don’t like is the really high delivery fee. Really it’s like 6 $ wth is that about?! But now that I go pick up lunch for my coworkers problem solved.

While Jason’s Deli is not my go-to, Chris the manager will go out of his way to ensure you a good experience. He is constantly wiping tables down, refilling the salad bar(which is highly uncharacteristic of most managers I’ve come across) and will ask you how your meal is. This location is extremely friendly, clean and professional. I would definitely come here again the next time my mom wants to buy me lunch. haha

I ordered the pot roast sandwich, and soup. This is the first time I’ve actually had more meat in my small cup of soup than on my sandwich! There literally wasn’t enough meat to cover the bun, not to mention the single ring of an onion for a condiment. Looking at it from the side, the meat portion was almost not even visible. Thinking this was a mistake I went up and showed the manager. She said, «that is the correct amount for that sandwich». The fact that she could say that with a straight face is what really disturbed me. Next time I want to dine on bread, I’ll have toast!

Have had it catered many times and have ordered take out. Haven’t been able to eat there. The salads are amazing. Love them. My favorite is the nutty mixed up salad. It is amazing. The perfect blend of ingredients. There sandwiches are good to, but until I need something new the nutty mixed salad it my go to meal.

I’ve eaten a Jason’s deli for more than a few years. Over that time the quality of the food and service has gone downhill. It used to be a fun dining experience. It turned in to a mediocre at best chain restaurant. I am a member of Gun Burger. They announced that their dinner would take place at the Jason’s Deli. I wasn’t thrilled about having the dinner there, but I made arrangements. When I arrived the No Firearms signs where up; that was new. That day I couldn’t check my Facebook to see the organization’s announcement. I may choose to carry a firearm for self defense. A business may choose to prevent me from doing this at their place of business. I can choose not to do business with that company. Apparently, the signs went up after GunBurger — Tucson, AZ made arrangements with management to dine there. This speaks volumes; it’s actually worse than the signs themselves. This is the real reason I won’t dine there. I’m done with Jason’s Deli, and I was a long term customer. Melt is just down the street from the Jason’s on Broadway. The food is better. Melt is also locally owned. This means when you spend your hard earned money, more will stay in Tucson.

Besides getting political,(come on guys, this is a site to review restaurants and their food, not if you like their political stance) Jason’s is just alright. When they first opened it was a lot more of a friendly place. The food is alright but the last time we were there, my croissant was stale, an the fruit it came with were all hard, close-to-the-rind pieces. For the price I paid I was pretty disappointed. That and the lack of worker moral,(seriously, you can’t even crack a smile?) will probably keep me from going there. Because nothing says ‘We don’t want your business!’ like an employee with an attitude!

I hate to give such a low, low rating, but the lunch I had today completely justifies two stars. I ordered my lunch online which was fast and convenient. They had a new dish which was called, «The Mighty Salmon Salad». The only thing that was MIGHTY about it was that is was MIGHTYDISGUSTING. The flavors did not go well together at all. Also, the little taste that the«salmon» had was just horrendous. There didn’t seem to be any seasoning what so ever. As for how it was«cooked»; I’m guessing, 3 – 6 minutes in the microwave. It was so dry, I could have used it to mop up my tears of disappointment. I had a side of potato salad which was okay. That’s what the two stars are for.

I had a guest clinician come to work with my choirs today so I wanted to provide lunch for him. I called the order ahead for pickup on my way in to school. I told them I would pick it up at 11:30. I arrived at 11:30 and the order was prepared, bagged, and ready to go. They even had the two drinks in a drink carrier in a refrigerator to keep them cool. The cashier then opened the door for me without asking as I had both hands full. In and out in a flash. Now that’s superlative service! Very impressed. I had the Wild Salmon-wich: «marinated, grilled wild Alaska Sockeye salmon, guacamole, roma tomatoes, leafy lettuce, chipotle aioli on toasted herb focaccia.» It was very tasty. My friend had the Nutty Mixed-Up Salad: «natural, grilled chicken breast, organic field greens, grapes, feta, nuts, dried cranberries, raisins, pumpkin seeds, organic apples.» He enjoyed the salad. I only wished that we could have eaten it there to take advantage of the free soft serve ice cream. I find Jason’s Deli, even though a chain, to be consistent, affordable, and delicious. A delightful change of pace from fast food. And there is something there for everyone.

I used to really like this place because of the healthier kids menu, salad bar, and the menu has something for everyone. I have eaten here with my family of five a dozen times. I have been very disappointed the last 3 – 4 times this year. I think it’s seen better days. The tables surrounding ours were left dirty and even after the dishes were cleared the tables were not washed down… neither were the high chairs. When the area around the salad bar is messy then I have a hard time trusting the cleanliness of the bar itself. Things were not stocked well at 4:45 pm and it was not busy. There really is no excuse. I thought the kids pizza looked absolutely unappetizing and lots of food was wasted because it was just so mediocre. The patrons closest to us seemed to have the same problem with their kids meals. ½ the kids pizza was left behind on their table as well. On the plus side there is free ice cream and I like the Jason Deli crackers at the salad bar and I had the organic vegetarian vegetable soup which was tastey,

We decided to give this place a try after bearing witness to the declining quality of Sweet Tomatoes. And now I’m hooked! The all-you-can-eat salad bar is very fresh and tasty. Not a whole bunch of choices, but the quality is exceptional. The sandwiches though are the real catch. You might have to wait a bit for it, but when it comes out and you realize how big the sandwiches are, you will be amazed. Yes, they are finger-licking good. The service at this location is very good. I wish they’d be more quick to clean up the dining area, but they are very respectful and friendly to their customers. I definitely recommend this place for eating great, organic food at a very reasonable price.

I must have unreasonable standards. There is absolutely no reason why I should not have loved my sandwich at Jason’s Deli. Yet I found myself afterward saying I was not wowed. My wife said the same thing about her sandwich, so it wasn’t just me being my usual difficult self. I had the Great Reuben. The menu promised ½ pound of corned beef, with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing. I mean how many more nationalities can you get between two slices of rye bread? It did deliver all that it promised but I just can’t put a finger on why it did not blow me away. The salty corned beef was plentiful and tender and played well against the punch of the sauerkraut and the creamy Swiss cheese although the Russian dressing was more of a whisper than a shout. My wife had the California Club. It had turkey, bacon, guacamole, Swiss cheese, tomato, mayo and greens on a croissant. She could not detect the bacon and said the croissant was a little too flaky. Free stuff: They have complimentary mini cornbread, garlic toast and pumpernickel muffins in the salad bar. The cornbread muffins were a tad dry and my wife nailed it on the pumpernickel muffins, describing them as tasting like soap. Also free are pickles from the salad bar and soft serve ice cream after your meal(or before or during if you so choose). I feel kind of bad giving them three stars. The sandwiches we had sounded great on paper but just did not deliver. We’ll probably be back to hit the salad bar, try one of their gigantic potatoes or look for that sandwich on the menu that will have me telling all my friends about Jason’s Deli.
