I have a 2 year old son that goes with me everywhere including shopping, unfortunately this store does not provide carts with a place for kids to sit. So it goes without saying that my shopping trip to this store was quick with no purchases

Bought a sofa an chair from JCP Tucson El con. When they delivered the guys would NOT help me and my wife carry out the old sofa, it was heavy. Those two guys just stood by and watch as my wife tried to struggled with a large sofa. So my advice is go buy your furniture some where else. That is about chicken $&!t as it gets. DONOTUSEJCPENNYS!!!

I have been going to this location for a number years now. The parking is plenty, customer service is great throughout and the store has so much on sale all the time! The jewelry dept. has high quality merchandise and the employees are always willing to help.

I have to say I had an fairly good buying experience from this location. We purposely came in during their Memorial Day sales event(knowing we might find something discounted). We were immediately helped, but we kept turning the sales people down as we looked at the couches they had on their floor. They were never really«high pressure sales» with us and they always seemed to get the hint when we said we would like to look around some more. Admittedly, it was a little chaotic with people trying to buy low before the sale ended. We finally found the couch we were looking for, it was the color and the texture we wanted(and it was one the original sales guy had shown us). It is a recliner sofa(the gears still work great) with a flip down secret cup holder space in the middle(which still functions excellently) and the sofa has pillow top arms(and they’re still soft almost a 1.5 years later). We found our original salesman and he was helping another customer, he took the time to look right at us and say, «I will be right with you, so sorry it’s so busy today.» We knew what we were getting into coming in during a sales event and thanked him. When he was done, we showed him the piece we picked, he helped us to choose the right color on the forms. He did up-sale us on the 2 year care package they suggest in case it gets worn or torn. I do wish I had said no because I don’t see us needing it, it’s good quality material. We had to schedule for delivery, which had to be quite far away from our purchase date, since the sale had increased their normal delivery schedule. Delivery was handled by an outside company. That company arrived early, there were two dudes, they carried the couch to our apartment, which has a smaller-than-the-couch doorway, to which they did some maneuvering and managed to flip it carefully and brought it through the doorway on its sides. They were polite and made sure we looked at the outside packaging(to check for damage) before they opened it up. Overall pretty pleased with this specific transaction and product, I would go back.

I went in today to look at some curtains that I had seen on line. I was looking for the ‘room darkening” curtains after about 15 minutes of wandering(and wondering) through the curtain, the girl at the counter asked me if I needed help. I asked her to show me the curtains I was looking for. She pointed and said they are on that side. Duh, all the curtains were on that side. I had to ask her to physically show me. She had no clue. Guess I will just shop on line. Hopefully the sales person will be able to handle my exchange when or if I need it.
