1÷15÷16 I went last night to native wings, I was willing to give this place and their wings another try. We had a party of 15, mixture of both kids and adults .we got seated promptly for being such a big party. So I got to ordering, I ordered Chili hot and lemon pepper 12pk. I received my wings, and I went straight into my lemon pepper wings. they were delicious I do recommend this dry rub. But then I bit into my chili hot which I had before and it wasn’t chili hot… it was ghost pepper. I was in tears and couldn’t talk because they were so hot. The waitress stated that the cook mixed ghost and chili hot together on accident. If he knew this why did he serve them? She did bring me a new order of the correct wings and sauce but it was too late. My meal was ruined My mouth was on fire, and I literally just sat there trying to compose myself. For the rest of the evening and this morning I had stomach issues from the ghost pepper wing . I don’t know why they would mix sauces. And still serve them.

I took my family to Native Gill & Wings and I have to admit I was not impressed. It was a Wednesday night and maybe 6 other tables of ¾ top. It took our waitress about 10 mins after we sat down to even come take our drink order, then only brought out 2 of the 5 drinks(water & soda) and it took another 5 mins to get the other 3 drinks. She said she would be right back to take our order, but she felt talking with another employee about her phone was more important. When she finally returned 10 mins later, she continued to rush us on taking the order by after each person that ordered stating is that all, never waiting for the entire table to order. By this time there was only us and one other table of two left in the restaurant, and after 40mins of waiting for our food it finally came out. My 2 yr old sons chicken fingers plate had been under the warmer so long it burnt my hand. The chicken wings and the salad plates were also very hot from being under the warmer so long, but not nearly as hot as my sons. Our waitress assumed we all liked ranch dressing which we all dislike and when I asked for blu cheese she went back to talking to her friend about her phone and getting a phone charger for her phone. 5 mins later we finally got our blu cheese and we were also the only ones left in the restaurant. After eating maybe a quarter of our food, do to it being flavorless and overlooked tasting food, nothing that would warrant a long cook time, we all sat patiently for our waitress to come back so we could get boxes and a check, but what shocked me when I asked for the checked she asked us if we wanted water. Now isn’t that a question you would ask at the start of service, not at the end? Needless to say my family and I will never be returning to this establishment and I highly recommend they train their staff, especially the waitstaff. As I am writing this review on my drive home from Native Grill my husband has had to pull over and throw up and I can tell you I’m not feeling very well either. If this results in food poisoning I will be contacting the health department.

This place is nice to look at but not the best food. The margherita pizza was watery. We ordered honey BBQ wings, strawberry hot wings and BBQ hot wings and they all tasted the same. They all had very little to no flavor. The wings were big which was nice but besides that I wouldn’t go back.

I’ve given this new location two chances and I’m pretty underwhelmed. This place is whack. I’ve been going to Native for Tuesday night wings with the boys for years. Let me start by saying that Native is not known for their service. I’m okay with that if you’re having a beer, telling some jokes, or watching a game. I prefer to be left alone and not checked upon everything 3 minutes anyway. Here’s the problem with this location, they’re so disorganized that it was never clear who my waiter/waitress was twice. I already come in with low standards for service so this made their credibility even worse. I truly think this is the culture of the franchise. It has to be their training and expectations for good service, because in the years that I’ve been going to Marana and Midtown the service has been an issue. Sadly, if management doesn’t take pride in serving their employees, the employee’s service rubs off on the customer. They don’t come off as busy, but just lazy and not willing to make the extra effort. Each location has been a watered down version of the previous location. No knowledge of the menu, prices, promotions… Again, I blame management for lowering the standards and not recognizing that there is a problem. For example, I tried to use their new promo app that rewards you with 6 free wings. I was told by the employee that I couldn’t use my phone app, because of the way he rang it up. Here’s my argument… You’re a new location, I’m the customer, and I haven’t paid you yet. I could understand if I didn’t tell the waiter before I asked for the bill, but I had the courtesy to let him know before he brought out my receipt. How you rang it up is irrelevant until I cash out(a little extra effort would allow you correct the problem at this point). I proceeded to make my case, but it was clear that customer service and honoring a promotional coupon was not in this persons best interest. Rather than make an issue of it, I made a mental note and took to Unilocal!I really try hard to enjoy myself and give Native multiple chances. The fancy signs, TV’s, and promos get nicer… The food, service, and overall effort continues to decline. Eventually something’s gotta give. Two stars and no tears… I think the other reviews are consistent with the problems at this Native location.

I just finished eating at Natives for the first time, we had the pizza and wings combo, it was excellent, I loved all the big screen TV even though my Cowboys lost 20 to 26, Damn those Saints, but its all good, the waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was upbeat, I will definitely become a regular customer.

FAIL, that is what best describe what I just experienced here at Native. I go with my cousin to celebrate a friend’s birthday and just one thing after another. Our waiter tried his best but with no support from management or the kitchen this is what happened. First, took over 20 min to take our order another 15 min to get our drinks. So by the time we got food was over 45 min and then my order strips and overloaded fries come cold. I sought out the manage because I no longer had the patients to deal with waiting on hot food. They were quick to make it fresh and hot, but no over yet we get the check and its wrong twice. The 2nd time around I totally go over to the manager and state my grievance and felt his apology was not whole hearted. NATIVEFAIL!

I went there for the first time yesterday after the movies. We ordered the«strippers» chicken and a cheese pizza. The waiter was attentive, friendly and quick! The food was really good. I will be back soon!

To be honest, after this, I don’t want to go back to Buffalo Wild Wings again. Appetizer yumm, drink awesome, wings more crispy. Will come back for the fish and shrimp next time.

So very torn about this place. The patio area looks great. The happy hour prices are great. I got wings and a drink for $ 20 including tip. It was clean and a fun environment. The only problem was the service. When I first got there it was pretty empty and it took about ten minutes for a waitress to take our drink order. By the time the rest of the group arrived we were ordering three things at a time because service was so slow. It was a Friday happy hour. If they’d had more people on staff it would have been great.

The wings are not that great! Came here around 7pm and had to flag down the bartender twice. Used bar napkins because he was too busy apparently… Plenty of TVs to choose from. They are pretty much all on the same channel though. Reasonably priced for what you get. I hate to say it, but I would rather go to the Wild Wings over here. This place is anything but special…

Whew… usually I give a business two chances before completely crossing it off my list but I’m afraid this is one of the few that fall into that category. We tried it a second time but unfortunately the service was still not on par with many other restaurants in Tucson. We did not order a lot of food… about 12 wings and a Native Platter but it took 50 minutes to get out to us. The waitress unfortunately did not seem like she wanted to be there. You can usually tell when a person seems sick of their job and this lady was exhibiting that type of personality. The food was just«meh» but there are so many better choices out there. This is the second restaurant that I have ever reviewed that is a «no-return»(as the first one I made a no-return closed). I know others have enjoyed it and I’m glad they had better experiences but we will not be returning.

Went here for the first time, place was FREEZING cold. Atmosphere is okay… they have big screen TVS to watch sports. We(husband and I) were there at night, had their«strippers» chicken. Had a blue moon beer and ordered fries on the side. I probably won’t order the strippers chicken again, maybe try the traditional(bone in wings) chicken wings instead. Strippers chicken pieces didn’t seem appealing. But I did get full… strippers chicken didn’t wow my taste buds with their hot strawberry flavor. It wasn’t «HOT» enough… and I LOVE spicy foods. I will go back to try the other foods they have. I am kind of nervous about the manager tho. I was reading reviews about this place after we had left. Sounds like this place needs some undercover management workers to see how this place is being run. Our waitress was good tho… no complaints on her. But low star rating doesn’t look good, especially that it’s newly opened. If I had checked this place out before we ate, and saw low star rating, I probably wouldn’t have gone to eat here…

I have been here about 3 times since they have opened up. I have always had great service and excellent food. I enjoy the wings, they are cooked to perfection. The wing sauce is very tasty. I will be returning, and I recommend this place.

Okay I never ever give 1 star review but few and none but OMG! Brian the manager decided that being argumentative with customers instead of honoring a coupon that they give was worth arguing over! Here is my experience checked in on Unilocal order soda waited 15 minutes — food came out still no drink– then drink finally appeared and no straw! Then we download their app use our data get a cool reward that says and I quote“get a free 6 pack of wings” and so we ordered a 6 pack of boneless wings and when trying to redeem we are then made aware that its not valid on boneless only traditional — That is when Manager Brian steps in to educate us on coupon. We then bring it to his attention and then he begins arguing over what we could get — do we are never coming here again. Guess its back to central:(had high hopes and Brian shattered it! Gabby was great for trying and being apologetic!

You know a restaurant is trouble when they can’t even serve you double digit fries with your order. My girlfriend and I both received about 8 French fries each, and we didn’t get the wings how I ordered them. I ordered traditional wings, I received boneless strips. And the server didn’t even know what a stout was.

After reading some of the reviews I was a little apprehensive about what my dining experience was going to be; I always like to give restaurants a try even if the reviews are bad just to see if they’ve improved. This Native in particular seemed to me that most of those reviews were when the restaurant first opened, at this location. Let me start off with the customer service I can’t say anything negative only positive because from first stepping into Native we were greeted with smiling faces & willingness to help & get my party seated right away even though being told the wait was about 30−40min we ended up getting seated within 15mins & out waitress was at our table & getting our drink & appetite order right away that’s a plus :) our tater tots came out super quick & pipping hot with three different dipping sauces; yummy… Each of our entrees came out delicious & just what we had ordered Now was only going to give three stars because I was a little disappointed that for dessert I had ordered the pineapple upside down cake(which I seen several people order & it looked so good) after waiting for some time our waitress returned & advised they were all out :(but to my surprise the manager came to our table apologized & even offered any dessert in the menu free of charge for the inconvenience, wow that there to me was worth an additional star, when a manager cares enough for their patrons that they come out to the table without even being asked to, and we didn’t even have to complain. Can’t wait to go back and hopefully next time I’ll get to try the pineapple upside down cake!

I’ve had great luck at Native, whether with the wings, pizza, the fries, the nachos or the salad. But how could a brand new place get so many negative reviews so fast?! Reading the other reviews here, it looks like service is the issue of most concern. But I figured that, despite the negative reviews, I would give this place a try. I’m so glad we did. I didn’t experience the poor service that others have described, and the meal was exceptional. Before I get into all that, a few things: This is a sports bar. To its core. You have three distinct seating areas. There’s the main dining room with booths and tables. There’s the bar area with high tables. And there’s the outdoor patio that has tables and cushy-looking sofas. It looks to be two TVs on the patio and numerous television sets throughout the interior. We sat in the dining room. It has a strange feeling that is eerily reminiscent of a cafeteria. But it was comfortable. The place gets busy and loud, but the acoustics are decent. So you don’t feel like you are sitting in on your next-door neighbors conversations. There will likely be times where there will be a wait. For that, the restaurant offers and indoor seating area and a few chairs outside. Now to the food. They have burgers, salads, lettuce wraps, wings, chicken strips, nachos, mozzarella sticks, pizzas, calzones, flatbreads, fish and chicken dishes… so much! We had big eyes and tiny bellies, so we ordered way too much food. We got the queso nachos with pork for an appetizer. This was an ample serving, with lots of pork mixed in, not just on the surface of the cheese. Plenty for three people. We were thrilled to pieces about the wings. I went with the habanero mango and the Parmesan. Both were exceptional. Nice amount of meat — but not the kind of wings that make you wonder if the chickens were pumped up with steroids — and good, deep flavor. I also went with two ghost pepper wings. I’ve never had anything flavored by ghost chiles, and both the waitress and the server warned me that I was in for it. It was true! I like to think that my threshold for hot spices high, but now I don’t know. They are insanely fiery! I was only able to eat half of one. HALFOFONE. That’s especially after having already had habanero-flavored wings. That’s okay, I took my 1.5 ghost wings home and was able to eat the rest later. I had a slice of pizza — Meaty Beast with four different types of meat. What impressed me the most was how fresh and flavorful it was! It was a thinner crust, and you can actually taste the herbs in the crest. Bonus! Some of the best pizza I have had as of late. I was also glad to see that the restaurant keeps regular specials, so the chances of you seeing specials on a visit are pretty good. And while this is a chain, it certainly has a bit of a local feel. There was lots of good energy and laughter, and even a couple of local folks bumped into each other seemingly after not seeing one another in a while. So, despite the negative reviews, I’m giving it an endorsement. And I look forward to another visit soon.

Let me first start by saying the food was great. The service however was not. I ordered a salad and twelve wings and requested the salad come out first and the wings extra crispy. Everything came out at once and the wings were not as I ordered. I was shorted on the wings and made to feel like a whiner when I complained. No silverware. No extra plate for the bones. Only one small napkin came with the wings. Hoping this bad experience was due to the server and the others are much better.
