I am not a big fan of hotel food(seems to be quite expensive and never well served) but this place is not expensive and food is good. Friendly staff and a nice cozy environment.

5 stars — no way. Yes way. Who would expect this hidden gem in Tucson by the airport. Sat at the bar and had great local Barrio brews. Maria was the bartender. What a wonderful experience. She is excellent and what she does and has a beautiful smile to go along with her great customer service. The food is great especially the street tacos. Saludos!

Had a nice lunch today. Our server Leroy was on it and served us up some awesome blueberry iced tea. I had the caprese salad and it was awesome. My colleagues had the Cobb salad and the express lunch(half turkey sandwich & salad). Both of them are part of the clean plate club. Will definitely come back whenever I’m in town.

Not to damn with faint praise, but a pretty good restaurant for being in a hotel. There were several gluten free options, so I chose the herb-roasted chicken. It was tender and herby; the wilted spinach wasn’t over cooked. The only downside was that they wouldn’t give us a wine list because, «we don’t have anything on it.» I wound up ordering a reasonably drinkable Malbec, but the choices were seriously limited.

For dinner I ordered the smoked salmon appetizer and the soup of the day– a vegetable with beef. The soup was delicious and hearty. The salmon was thin and salty and not very appetizing. Drinks varied at our table– the margaritas were very watered down, the soda was flat, but Cosmos were good. We ordered chocolate cake for dessert. It was very small and had an unappealing, squished, with a slightly rubbery texture. However, the sorbet with the cake was good. The server appeared rushed and worked more as a bus boy than waiter during the meal. He was great at removing plates from the table, but did not want to stay to take our orders during dinner. We were often trying to get his attention as he walked away because he did not ask if we needed anything else. The restaurant was accommodating with allowing us to watch a race we wanted to see on a corner TV. Overall, it was not an impressive experience.

Service was slow and short. Food was way overpriced for what you get. For example, the chocolate cake is about 2 inches in diameter and cost $ 8. In addition, drinks were super watered down. Overall, bad experience

I must say wicked awesome! Maria was the bees knees. And Rob, the best stories ever! And Mandy, while she doesn’t wait on me, she always comes to say Hi. Awesome service and awesome personalities! I have been coming here for about 3 years now, and I must say, I was a little disappointed that I didn’t see my regular bartenders more than once in the 4 days I stayed in Tucson. I travel a lot, and I have been to many hotel bars, but these people have always made me feel like family. They inquire about me and vice versa. They also know what I want before I even order it. I look forward to my dinner with them. And I love breakfast with Suzie. If it wasn’t for them, I would go elsewhere. The food and drinks are not cheap. Also I appreciate that the food has improved. There was definitely a rough patch. But I was very happy with the taste and presentation on my latest visit.

Average food quality. I purchased a $ 20 voucher from Unilocal for $ 10. The server gave me a $ 10 discount for it. I asked her why it was not $ 20. She said, «you got 20 for 10», turned around and left me with the bill. I guess she was confused, but she never came back. I left $ 0 tip, to make her think.

Just an average hotel bar/restaurant. The mix drinks are kind of overpriced and the $ 6.00 beers definitely are. The I ordered an order of calamari and It wasn’t that great. The chicken sandwich that I got later was just average.

Amazing! Simple menu for lunch but every item is five star. Flank steak and blue cheese salad was perfectly prepared. Beautiful décor, great service, reasonable prices.

If you spend anytime in Tucson you will find that finding good food & good service … can be a challenge. And with that being said, sometimes what your looking for is right under your nose. SO R&R exceeds expectations in both categories. Great entrees. good cocktails and wonderful service. What a delight!

I recently attended a conference across the street at the DoubleTree Suites. I found the R+R Grill on Unilocal and was very pleased with the quality of the dinner. Mandy, our server took great care of our table. I don’t usually dine at hotel restaurants, but the R+R Grill inside the Four Points Sheraton is the exception. Great food and not overpriced.

While I’m alway skeptical of hotel restaurants, R&R was a nice surprise. Excellent service! The soup & arugula salad were delicious– well seasoned, perfect portions. Husband got skirt steak, says it was ok. Looked a little over cooked. Best close to the airport option & don’t let the«bar & grill«fool you. Modern décor & yummi food.

I wanted so badly to love this place, based on previous reviews! I was staying in the area, and let’s face it, there aren’t may options other than fast food. I started with a wine«special» but the wine was bad. It tasted like a cheap glass of wine. I sat in the bar area, and after 30 min, asked for a menu, although all the other patrons were offered one immediately. I ordered a Endive Arugula salad with goat cheese. I had to look hard to find the goat cheese, but the salad was ok. Someone has posted a pic of the bolognese on Unilocal earlier, and it looked so good! I ordered it, and was disappointed. It lacked flavor, and was crying out for Parmesan cheese, to add a saltiness. I would have loved to tell the server, but he never came back to ask if everything was ok. I was pretty bummed, as there weren’t many other options close by.

Walking — or crawling — out of the Tucson airport, you can get to a half-dozen hotels on foot with your roller bag faster than they can get a shuttle to you. I stay at the Sheraton 4 Points because I live 2 hours away and the day I land sober on a plane is the day I’m dead. I stay here not only very reasonably priced but they have best bar/restaurant staff anywhere. I’ve been coming here for so many years that I can’t even remember what it was before the Sheraton bought em out. The bar staff make every stay feel like a sort of homecoming. And I am always the family member who gets way too drunk at the homecoming but that’s my own problem. Even when I have friends flying in or out of Tucson that stay, I always tell them to ask for the people I know in the restaurant & they are immediately treated like family. On the road this often and for this many years, this staff are the people who keep you alive and vaguely sane. For sports fans, no question… best choice. Big tvs around a giant square bar. Free parking in a lot where you can always get close to your room. They lose a star for getting rid of the made-to-order omelettes at the otherwise great breakfast buffet, replacing it with a Hampton Inn-style bucket of dried out scrambled eggs. But that ain’t the fault of the staff. And the staff are why I stay. PS — Fantastic salsa… Get normal things to put it on! Duck gorditas? Knock it off, Gordon Ramsey. Nobody goes to an airport hotel to take weird chances.

The road out of the Tucson airport is like many others — lots of hotels, fast food joints, parking lots. And in the middle of this one, a place for good eats. Much better than what I was anticipating, and with a coupon(add ½ star), it was very cost-effective! Don’t bother with the wedge — too small of a portion. The pappardelle was really good. Decent portion, not excessive. Very tasty ragout.

Okay road warriers take note of this! This is the restaurant in the Four Points by Sheraton at the Tucson Airport — not normally expected to be a culinary hot spot. Wrong in this case! The amazing(yet simple) menu selections are something I’ve NEVER seen at a Four Points property, anywhere. It helps that the place actually has an Executive Chef(indeed!), who honed his craft at resorts in Scottsdale. I was trying to go light because it was late, so I chose the dinner Caesar Salad with Scallop option — totally violating my normal rule of «no seafood more than 300 miles from the coastline», because I was totally intrigued that someone would even attempt to put this on the bill-of-fare. Let me tell you, that dish is why I am writing this review the same evening. The large salad included 3 large scallops(not puny bay scallops) — PERFECTLY done(seasoned and seared with a crust — yet fleshy and lightly cooked in the middle) something I don’t often see, even in fine seafood establishments who supposedly know what they are doing with this touchy ingredient. It was worth every penny of the $ 8 upgrade to the plain Caesar Salad($ 20 total)! But wait… there’s more! — Federal Contractors and Employees take note!!! The FedRate room contract at this hotel includes a $ 15.00 Food and Beverage Voucher for the R&R Bar and Grill!!!(yes $ 15, not 15%). I almost felt like I was taking advantage of the place. So I spent a bit more and got dessert — A chef’s choice artisan cheese platter(not much sugar there!) which was excellent as well(see picture). Don’t know if this is a short term promotion, or part of the rate for this year, but it is indeed an amazing bargain. The staff was somewhat thin because of the late hour, but they were attentive, very pleasant, and the service was excellent! I am coming back to try some of the other offerings. I’m also staying at this hotel in the future because the entire place is of resort quality, not an airport ‘box’ hotel. If you’re staying in the airport hotel area at Tucson Intl. Airport… or you live close by… it’s worth coming in for a meal!
