Worst starbucks ever. Staff are mostly students and they are just chatting even if it’s super busy time. Making mistakes so many times and their operation is extremely slow. I don’t admit here is an official Starbucks.

I don’t drink caffeine so I usually order decaf. This requires a «pour over» which takes a few minutes longer. I’ve had two instances at this location where it has taken 10 – 15 minutes – due to a screw-up. This time the lady said she was distracted by a phone call. Wow, that must have been one long phone call considering I had to watch the 2 other attendants serve 8 people ahead of me. It’s usually a long wait at this place and when they serve 8 people ahead of you it really becomes a long wait. I won’t be returning to this location to get my decaf. I will get it somewhere else.

Made the mistake of going here again because I didn’t have time to run to the real Starbucks on University Ave. Again I left disappointed. This place is a total rip-off. I ordered a cool lime refresher and watched them make it. Somehow a dozen other cold drink orders jumped ahead of mine… I used to work at Starbucks, so I know how to make these simple, simple drinks. It’s really quite easy. You pour the cool lime refresher liquid up to a designated line depending on the size of the drink, add water to the next line, and then a certain amount of ice and some freeze-dried limes, and you shake it. What I got was cool lime refresher liquid only to HALF of where it should’ve gone(because the container ran out, and she didn’t grab more). She loaded it up with water, and CRAMMEDICESOFULLINTOIT that the ice was touching the bottom of the shaker. When she poured it into the cup and saw that it still didn’t fill up the cup despite all the water she added, she dumped EVENMOREWATER onto it. Just guestimating from watching her make it, she gave me about a grande’s amount of CLR liquid in a TRENTA drink. I was almost late for my meeting already, so I didn’t stay to tell them to fix it. But if I’m ever unfortunate enough to find myself here again, I’m going to say«no water, light ice,» and I“ll probably STILL get a diluted drink. Cool lime refreshers, lattes, cappucinos… I’ve never been satisfied with a single purchase at this Starbucks. Never.

It tends to be pretty crowded especial during class rushes you just need to know when yo come or be prepared to wait, but because of the rush sometimes they half ass making the drinks, kind of like quantity over quality

they had a nice sign about how they want to make sure your drink is right but there was no follow thru. I immediately knew there was a problem but I couldn’t catch the baristas eye and after waiting in line behind 15 people I didn’t have any time left. yuk. one of those places where staff knows better than patrons. despite the nick-name I gave him to write on my cup, he wrote the formal name from my card. despite I ordered a latte w/caramel they gave me a macchiato. don’t they know there’s a difference? yuk.

By far the worst Starbucks in town. The only reason to come here is that it’s conveniently located in the UA bookstore. Things I hate about this starbucks: 1. Incredibly long lines, especially between class times 2. They don’t carry the full range of pastries – «La Boulange» is unheard of here 3. Cashiers consistently flub it: clueless about drinks, can’t operate the cash register, can’t navigate the gold card program, frequently mischarging and then not knowing how to fix the situation… all mixed in with an occasional snippy teenage attitude 4. Drink quality is inconsistent. Want too much ice? Check! not enough ice? Check! That’s probably among the most minor of the drink faux pas i’ve experienced here. Canyon café is a much smoother transaction, and the pastries are good! They just opened up a starbs in the library, so there’s another option for the UA set. If you must have Starbucks, the one on University ave. is much better.

The cashiers usually charge me wrong and apparently they have no clue how the rewards cards work. If it weren’t for hour breaks and their convenient location I would go somewhere else. Seriously canyon in better.

Great staff located on campus huge plus if you go to the school. If you are a partner they are a fake bucks so no deals. They have lots of treats. Baristas won’t burn your shots they are legit.

Five stars for the overworked, underpaid but always friendly baristas at this location.

Unlike some of the other reviews for this location, I’m not going to slam them for how busy they are. Actually that is one of their pros in my book. Yes they have long lines. Some days I’d even guess that there are 50 people in line and 20 people that have already ordered and are waiting for their drinks. Considering how many people are in line, I think they do a good job keeping things moving. What I am going to slam them for is their drink consistency issues. Just because the place is slammed does not mean corners should be cut and quality should decrease. After a few incorrectly made drinks, I quickly learned to order drinks without any changes(I’m not talking about which kind of milk). By changes I means adding an extra shot of caramel, or substituting one ingredient for another. Also, god forbid you ask for a sugar in your drink because they won’t do it. You’ll just have to put it in yourself(which isn’t the worst thing in the world). The one thing they did that really annoyed me was ruin my hot tea. I didn’t think anyone could ruin tea. You get hot water and put a bag in it. It normally takes about 2 seconds to make it. Which is why I knew something was wrong when it was taking much longer than usual. It turns out the the barista read the cup incorrectly and gave me a tea latte. Now, I didn’t have time to make a fuss, but from that point on I watch them like a hawk and really emphasize the point that I just want HOTTEA, not a HOTTEALATTE.

Almost always PACKED on a school day. Coffee quality is about the same as any other ‘bucks. they have a posted sign that says they dont give out free water, im having trouble looking up the arizona statute but im 90% sure that is not legal.

Well judging the 2 reviews prior to mine, I had expected this place to be horrible. As soon as I got to the counter I asked for a tall decaf, when the guy says«Sorry we are out of decaf» WHAT??? how can a place that sells COFFEE be out of DECAF!!! Then he tells me but«I can make an americano decaf»…How??? I say. «we have some still in the machine» «Fine, well then I want a tall americano» Then he says, «Oh we are out of tall cups, but I can give you a grande cup for the same price.» SCORE! I think to myself. I pay and then I hear my named called at the other end of the counter. I go and proceed to pick up my grande up and low and behold it was the lightest cup I ever held. That Bar#$@#$ta gave me half a cup! WHAT A PLACE!
