The Standard

Do NOT live here. The new management is AWFUL. They are extremely unorganized, have no idea what they are talking about more than half the time, and are inconsiderate when their utilities damage your personal belongings. My family has been involved in property management for 20+ years now and is astonished at how poorly the Stone Avenue Standard management runs their complex.
I lived there for a year with the previous management and did not have a single problem. The second this new management came into play, there was instantly countless problems. Every maintenance repair we requested did not ultimately fix our problems. Each repair lasted about 2 weeks and then we had to call for another maintenance request. Our entire apartment flooded because of the terrible utilities they supplied us with. We were forced to move out for a week because the smell from the moldy carpet was unbearable, and really affected my roommate with asthma. After the flooding, they replaced our washer so that this incident would not happen again. I was the guinea pig and ran a load of laundry first, thinking that everything had been fixed. My entire load of laundry was ruined. The machine they had replaced our old one with had bleach residue in it and bleached $ 300 worth of my clothing, that can not be replaced.
Aside from that terrible experience, rent was lowered last year nearly by $ 100. The neighbors above us moved units to receive the lower rent, yet we were still charged $ 535 when they were now only being charged $ 435, even though it was the same layout.
Terrible, terrible management. I do NOT recommend living here, I repeat do NOT live here.
