Viva Burrito

We love their bacon, egg, potato, and cheese breakfast burritos. Whenever we have go to the airport or anywhere in that area, we stop and bring some home. We’ve tried a couple Viva Burritos and have found this one to be cleaner and the staff friendlier than any of the others.

Terrible customer service! I ordered 2 burritos in the drive thru both were wrong. Luckily I hadn’t got across town before checking. So I go back to get them replaced and I show the girl the inside of the burritos and she wants them back. She threw them in the trash. Why? I could’ve given them to someone else and that would’ve felt like compensation enough. So she hands me the new burritos and acts like we are square! I’m sorry your not even going to offer me a discount or anything for the annoying inconvenience! So I ask her about a discount and she has to check with the manager who tells her I can have a soda I remind her that I had just bought 2. I end up speaking to the manager who is only willing to offer a free burrito on my next visit! You are crazy if you think there’s going to be a next visit! I’m upset now! Fix the problem now! I’m certainly not coming back! This is the south side of Tucson y’all there’s plenty of great burrito places to choose from, this ISN’T one of them!

Love the breakfast burritos, carne asada was awesome too. Quick easy little drive thru. Fast when your hopping on the freeway!

Absolutely mediocre breakfast burrito. I had the sausage, egg, potato, cheese and it was all potato in a greasy tortilla. And ZERO sabor. I won’t ever go back, I’d rather eat Taco Bell.

The carne asada burrito was excellent and so were the super nachos. The chorizo and potato taco was bland and the chili relleno was fair. The service was A+ Over all was a good stop.

Will never go here again. I’ve been going to viva on Valencia since it opened, my family lives in the area and always orders from viva. This weekend the employee taking my order was so rude and snarky to me that I will never go back. I’ll miss the food but I’d rather not be disrespected, not worth it.

The carne adasada was good. They slumped on the Pico and guac. Overall really good and cheap. They need to make the place look better though.

A decent drive thru Mexican fast food. Vegetarian friendly! Better prices for bigger burritos. When Del Taco is too far away, I choose Viva. Yes it may be a bit dingy but look at all the others. I trust the nice women cooking my food in the back at Viva, than the grimey poorly paid teenagers at Taco Bell. They cook with Canola too. We don’t eat meat, so when it comes to a dire need, we will go here for a bean and cheese burro. They even have egg burritos too.

This place is dirty, dirty, dirty! Health department must be on vacations.
This Viva Burrito Co. are completely disgusting.
In the place where they do the SALSA VERDE green sauce, do not proceed with even the minimum required for health.
So if you get sick, you know where was.

Decent place. Good prices. Cleaner than most if their competitors. Just a 3 star breakfast burrito. Salsa is milder.

I don’t normally review fast food chains, but Viva knows how to properly make authentic carne asada, which is why they have my favorite fast food burritos, bar none. I will say that many of the menu items are bad choices, but the carne asada burrito with shredded cheese, guacamole, and sour cream (pico de gallo included by default) is the most tasty burrito for 5 bucks in the old pueblo.

Good Mexican fast (slow at lunch time) food. Lousy lunch service. Their potato tacos are ridiculously good. Almost every time I run down to this Viva, I wait 10 – 20 minutes on my order to be filled IN THE DRIVE THROUGH! I have a 40 minute lunch break and when it takes 10 just to get there and back, that kind of wait leaves me to wolfing down my lunch in 5 – 10 minutes.
Today my coworker ran to get lunch for us and she waited 25 minutes on four food orders and they still had it wrong. Luckily she checked what they gave her or I wouldn’t have gotten my lunch.
Problem is, their food is good, but that service makes me think twice. Four stars if it weren’t for the service.

$ 2.50 breakfast burrito… really good deal.

I live the carnitas burritos here. I’ll go outta my way for one.
Also, their Xango, a cheese-​filled dessert pastry, is tasty, tho a little pricey at 2.99. Give one a try if you have a sweet tooth or love cheesecake.
This location isn’t as nice as the other one on the southeast corner of Golf Links Road and Wilmot.

This review is solely based on the fulfillment of my needs this morning.
Here’s where I am going with this…
Its 530am. I am headed into work on my off Friday. I spent the previous evening tasting numerous different margaritas at the TCF: World Margarita Championship. And, it may or may not be true that I ended up at Hotel Congress then back at Maynards bar after wards. That is neither here nor there.
The point here is that I have already swung through Starbucks for the coffee… now all I want is something with substance to put in my stomach and get me through the morning.
They are always open. They have a drive-​thru. And they have a massive chorizo, potato, egg, and cheese burrito for less than $ 3. What is not to like about this?
When the scenario above repeats itself in some form in the future, I will be back at their drive-​thru.

I have ordered their breakfast burritos which are cheap, filling, tasty and come with plenty of salsa on the side. However, the other day I ordered a beef burrito for lunch and all that was inside was some bland stewed beef and some green bell peppers. Not tasty at all.
