Everything is good. Seriously I haven’t had anything bad. Mini Tacos are our favorites and a great deal during the week. They are fast and friendly. The hot salsa is actually hot

I like the food in this place. but the customer service sucks bad. especially if you try to order food through the phone they will put you on hold for hours. I really hope they fix this issues. besides that the food is great.

Your prices are going higher and higher. This not a luxury restaurant. Lower your prices or your customers will abandon your restaurant.

Today’s dining included great chatting with employees and the owner Mike, fresh chips and best homemade salsa, and delicious taquitos!

So I thought I’d give them another try because I really did enjoy it in the past. Unfortunately, I was still really disappointed with them. I’m pretty sure it’s different owners. First I was overcharged for my item and then when I got home, I found totally greasy chips and a burrito with hardly any meat in it. I’m definitely not going back. So bummed.

Good food but their customer service is the worst. I called in once for take out only to find out they messed up my order. The worker was very unappreciative of the feedback when i called them about it and they asked what they wanted me to have them do about it… UNBRLIEVABLE. Forget about asking for beans on the side; they will tell you they won’t do it. Future visits since were very difficult. No ATM for months already… CASH ONLY. I have banned this place from now on.

The food at Tortas is really good, we eat here regularly. The family packs are a great deal. I recently decided to order something new from the online menu — almost immediately they called me to say that they don’t actually offer that item anymore. Then today we ordered our usual family pack (online) and they immediately called to say that they didn’t have any masa with which to make the homemade tortillas. The food is delicious, but the fact that they don’t always have the items on the menu is a little irritating.

Ordered nachos had almost a cup of grease on the bottom of the plate and I complain to the cashier and cashier said that’s to keep the meat soft !!! ??? Definitely never go back again!!!

First of all, this place has been there for ages, so that should already tell you it’ll be good! I wasn’t expecting the banana milkshake to be special, but my goodness it’s delicious. It’s literally like drinking ice cream. Mmmmmmm :9 The shrimp cocktail does not taste or smell fishy. Very fresh and flavorful. I could probably eat that all day nonstop. Finally, the asada torta. One of the best tortas around! I’ll be honest though… I haven’t tried too many of them yet. But this was good. Please try it!

Ok I ate at this place about 100 times and it was pretty good. Today I ordered a delivery and was awful! The salsa had a funky taste and the carne asada looked and tasted like just boiled meat. On top everything else all of my food was cold. What a disappointment!!!

We’ve ordered here for delivery on many occasions and overall we enjoy the food. My husband loves the Al Pastor taco family pack and we order it all the time. We ordered food for delivery last Saturday and it must have been really really busy because our experience was horrid. I mean everything that could go wrong, went wrong. I was very upset and I spoke with the manager the next day and she was kind enough to connect with the Owner Mike, and I was thankful that he cared about customer service and made it right.

The worst, period. Delivery was ½ hour late, food was cold, chips stale. Disgusting. Never again.

I have lived in tujunga for 6 years now and I have never walked into this amazing place, until yesterday night. I was on a trip to Palm Springs this weekend and as soon as my friends and I arrived home, we were starving and craving Mexican food. I drove down here and was completely in awe.
My cousin had been craving carne asada fries for this past month, even though it was NOT on the menu, the server said that they were able to make it anyway and it would go into the system as something else with the same price. So nice of them! We ordered 4 boxes of nachos, one steak quesadilla, one torta, and two of the snow cone drink (the spicy one with tamarindo and fruits). Oh my god, just smelling this while it was cooking was great. The cooks all finished cooking our food very quickly, and the drinks were ready within 5 minutes. Very nice cashiers, great customer service, and great food! Every bite was delicious and I will definitely be coming back to this place. Forget In n Outs line.

I got a chicken burrito and the chicken was super dry… there was no cheese or sour cream or anything in there but chicken and rice. We thought they made a mistake so I brought it back to the counter and they informed me that there was no mistake made, that’s just how they do their burritos. I said I couldn’t eat it the way it was and asked for my money back but they wouldn’t do that, even though I’d only taken 2 bites. I left it on the counter and walked out of that Restaurant for the last time.

The staff is pleasant and very helpful! extra star! Good salsa and nicely stocked bar. They have bogo taco specials during the week. They serve their pastor tacos with pineapple and it’s not bad. Good local spot for tacos if u don’t want to drive out of town.

If you’re hungry and broke and don’t have the time to sit in the drive-​through line
at In-​N-​Out, then Tortas Mexico may be the right choice for you!
The food is filling and feels fresh enough to minimize the guilt feelings usually
associated with fast-​food consumption. Also, if you have friends who have never
tried Mexican tortas before, I guarantee you they will enjoy this.
PROS
1) Fairly inexpensive
2) Filling
CONS:
1) Customer service could use some improvement.
Ordering food feels more like turning in your papers at the DMV.
TIP:
1) Call your friend and tell them you’re going over and you’re getting food
2) Buy Tortas from Tortas Mexico and just show up.
3) Thank me later!

I’m a regular at this Tortas. I find the food much tastier than the La Canada location. I used to get their chicken tortas, but have made the switch to their breakfast burritos.
They taste great, but they’re also extremely salty because of the bacon. A major difference from the breakfast burritos here and from everest is that at tortas they put hash browns and rice.
I never had an issue with my food except for this time, which makes it unfair from my part to rate it 1 star. (I will rate it again on my next visit if I do ever decide to come back)
My breakfast burrito was great, until I found myself biting on egg shells. I understand this may happen… cracking the eggs and dropping a little shell. but this was not a little amount. I found myself having to spit out most of my bites because of the shells spread out throughout the whole burrito. To make things worse, I found a small piece of plastic that I can’t make out what it is in the burrito. Horrible experience. This was for takeout so I was not able to notify the manager or anyone in person.
This had never happened to me before at this joint and I’m pretty disappointed. I hope that if there’s a next time that it won’t be anything like this one.

Beautiful Sunday, I decided not to cook today ordered in from Tortas Mexico. Good food!!! Fast delivery!!! Good price !!!

Stay away from this place. This was my first and last time ordering food from here. We ordered our food at 6:30pm but didn’t receive the food till almost 9pm. We called them 4 times and every time they would say that we would get our food in 10 – 15 mins. Well each fifteen minutes actually took like 40 minutes. We got our food cold and it wasn’t even all that it was pretty bland.
Anyway when the guy gets here to give us the order after 2 ½ hours he blames us for their own incompetence. How rude is that after we waited over 2 hours? I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone at least not for delivery unless u want your food to come 2 ½ hours later.

I’ve been coming to Tortas since they were located in La Crescenta, on foothill. I love love love the carne asada tortas here! Seriously one of the best, the quality hasn’t dwindled too much over the years, but it was definitely at its best at the old location.
Today I ordered the chicken soup to cure my weekday hang over. The soup is actually really delicious! A bit pricey for soup [almost 9 bucks] but perfect for this morning. Lots of chicken, veggies, and potato chunks. Also came with rice and corn tortillas. Id totally get it again
