Came here last weekend to celebrate my aunt’s graduation. Great improvement from the last time we were there. The food was good and Sojin was our server and he was amazing. Very on top of everything and attentive to our needs. We ordered an appetizer that didn’t turn out the way we thought it would and he immediately took it back and was very apologetic and understanding. Next time we come back I hope he is our server again.

My BJ’S experience was 100% average. The food was fine. The restaurant was fine. Our waitress was fine. Everything was just fine. Everywhere else around like Cheesecake Factory and Olive Garden was incredibly crowded and had about an hour wait. Even though it was a Saturday night at 6PM, we were able to get seated as soon as we walked in. It was a little pricy but other than that it was just completely fine.

I feel pretty ambivalent about BJ’s. I feel like every time I come in, they manage to screw something up lol. But I like the variety of food that is on the menu, perfect for an indecisive individual, like myself… which is probably why I haven’t ditched. BBQ wings, avocado rolls and calamari are a must for appetizers. I love that the wings pack a crunch to them and the bbq sauce was sweet. I’m a little butthurt that they took the side/appetizer mac and cheese off the menu =( I’ve tried their salmon dishes before which I liked. I also enjoy their clam chowder. Ahi tuna salad was a bit salty and overwhelming. Last night I ordered the buffalo chicken grilled cheese which came with a side of fries. The sandwich was kinda salty due to the buffalo sauce on the chicken and my fries came out like 20 minutes after my sandwich did –___– Now that I think about it, I think I might enjoy their appetizers much more than their entrees.

Okay. What is with the restaurants at the mall with the loud music? You are a restaurant, not a night club. I hadn’t been to this place in while. Normally the pizza is really good. I ordered a mini California Supreme and it was still a bit doughy on the inside. Our server was nice, but not very attentive. I ordered a club soda with muddled limes and it came back with lemon. I got the attention of what looked like a manager walking by and she got me a new drink. After our food arrived we pretty much never saw our server again. It would have been nice to get a refill on my drink. I didn’t bother to complain while I was there because my friend and I were trying to make it to a movie. I think I’ll just hit up pizza at the food court next time I want pizza before a movie.

The food wasn’t bad but also not that good. Not sure if it was just me but it wasn’t something amazing. I would only go again for the pizokki but not meal. Wasn’t worth the price but many people were coming and seemed to like it. However the fries are really good!

Last night was the worst experience I had with BJs. A few friends and I came here for dinner to celebrate a graduation and we order some appetizers and pizza. While talking to some friends we realize how long of a wait it was for our food. The pizza came out before the appetizers! First, the pizza was cold as if it sat there for quite some time. Then the appetizers came out and it was deep fried calamari so that usually doesn’t take long to make, but it was so cold and soggy that it was nasty. We return back our food and ask for fresh pizzas and calamari. The manager apologize and then our food came out within 10 mins. We had to ask the manager to comp our food for the inconvenience they caused us. I felt bad for our server because she did great and that’s what the 1 star is for. The food is what lacks at this location.

Sooo not impressed with the quality of food. Especially given the prices. Under the appetizers menu it lists«sliders with fries» but they still charged me extra for the fries. The sliders themselves were malformed and didn’t hold together, like a 4 yr old had been helping mommy in the kitchen that day. So even with the mini — buns there were still many bites of nothing but soggy bread. The avocado eggrolls sounded so good on the menu… mmm creamcheese and avocado. WRONG. It turned out to be an overcooked, overspiced mess. Neither plate(can’t call these small appetizers meals) were worth the $ 11.50 each we paid for them. Never going back.

I love the clam chowder very much! With the bread bowl you can not imagine how it is delicious! Steak are good too. Highly recommend!

BJ’s is easy to meet up when a dinner is ought be be planned with friends because the mall that it’s located in the centrally located between where all my south end friends live. It’s also a safe choice because they have a huge selection on the menu. Happy hour used to be awesome here, but it has recently changed and the things I used to order on the menu isn’t there anymore so I just order menu dishes and split it since everything is huge portion. The Pazooki is to die for at the end of my meal no matter how full I am because I can’t seem to find it anywhere else. It’s a hot soft cookie with a scoop of ice cream on top and there’s a variety of cookies that you can choose from. Also, take advantage if you come on your birthday because you get a free mini Pazooki with a candle lite up. Tell me about your experience if you’ve been here or is going to after reading this review:)

This was the worst experience I ever had at BJ’s by far. The calamari appetizer took over a half hour and the restaurant was very slow. There was no excuse. The worst part was that it was really over cooked and cold. I didn’t eat it. I ordered the salmon and quinoa. The salmon tasted like a salt lick, it was so over salted I had trouble swallowing it. I suffered through it because I was hungry. This location needs a serious cleaning up of cooks. Get some people who can follow a recipe and proper cooking times and seasoning measurements. Horrible! The service was slow and drinks took forever. The manager was good when she offered to remake the calamari.

Came here with my family on Saturday night about 10pm. Waitress recommended a cocktail to the girls that of coarse was 9.95 each, i had a root beer. I ordered appetizers wings, calamari, cheese sticks that were all cold! When i told the waitress she said i waited by the fryer for them… A Lie! Then the manager apologized and said yes they were all cold. I asked for my bill it was 65.00. No comp at all…

It’s Southcenter so… I never go in with expectations anyway. There was no host or hostess at the door to seat us, and despite the very empty restaurant, the waiter who finally came to seat us told us it’d be a 5 – 10 minute wait. I glanced over his shoulder though and noticed the also empty bar, so we bypassed the wait and went to the bar. The waiter at the bar was attentive though, and our food came out relatively quickly. We had a classic deep dish pizza — it had a great, soft dough, which I liked. The Santa Fe egg rolls, which we kind of picked on whim, were also quite good. Even though the initial appearance was a bit disappointing, the service once we were seated was okay, and the food, while not life changing, was on the better end for a fast food-ish chain. Definitely a good choice for anyone who isn’t looking to wait a million years for sub-par pasta at the Olive Garden or the Cheesecake Factory across the street.

I went here with a friend while we were waiting for a movie. We had more than an hour to spare and thought we’d have plenty of time. *spoiler alert* We were wrong. Service was very slow, even to get our drinks, but food took more than an hour. They initially said they were catching up after a large group, but then blamed the delay on the fact that I ordered a Boca burger because, apparently, those vegetarian patties take 40+ minutes to cook — who knew?! By the time our food was ready, we had to ask for it to go… but while my burger was hot, the fries were cold, like they had plated them when I first made the order and never bothered to heat them back up. When the check came, after this ordeal, they had my bill mixed up with my friends — so I ended up paying for her pricey cocktail. It was too much of a hassle to try to fix. Everyone knew that there was an issue with our experience, the manager even came over the apologize, but made no effort to make things better.

Gotta love this place. Appetizers and dinner is always good for the price! The pizza is delicious considering this isn’t an Italian specialty restaurant. The beer sampling option is excellent and availability of seating is always good as well as Quick service. If you haven’t already, definitely check this place out with your family one evening or hithe bar to watch a game they have TVs

Always a good time at this restaurant. If you like Root Beer(or sodas in general) you will enjoy their handcrafted selection. I suppose there’s alcohol too but that’s not my bag. The pot roast is delectable but not a huge portion so skip it if you want a massive meal. The definitive star of the menu, hands down, is the parmesan crusted chicken. If you don’t want any guesswork and want a delicious plate, this is the choice. Period.

I like this place. I don’t go often but when I do I always end up liking it. Their deep dish pizzas are really good but I’m just more of a thin crust NYC style pizza person. I do really like their bbq chicken pizza though. Their happy hour is really good especially the appetizers. I don’t kow why but their fresh mozzerella and tomato salad is really good… I know it’s nothing special but everytime I get it I like it. Their stuffed mushrooms are also yummy. One thing I really do love is their parmesan crusted chicken. It has this amazing tangy white sauce. I do love their pizookies! it’s a good place to grab a bite and beers with friends.

We came around 4:30 — 4:45ish today(Wednesday) and were seated right away. Service was pretty on point this evening. We were greeted and our orders were taken right away. Our appetizers too less than 10 min to come out and our food less than 15. I had the bacon guac burger and my boyfriend had the bbq pulled pork sandwich. I thought my food was delicious until I tried his. I looooved his sandwich! They checked in on us, brought us water and overall gave us good service. We each got a mini pazookie*. It’s been a long time since I’ve had one and turns out I didn’t really like it. The outside is cooked but it’s completely uncooked inside. I figure it’s supposed to be like that but just wasn’t for my taste. Plus, at this point I had to drink water after every couple bites and my glass ended up empty and for the first time in the evening no one walking by would notice until our waiter finally came back and we asked him. Everything else I ate tonight was delicious though!

BJ’s is an above average chain joint. Love that they brew their own beer and have a decent selection. I had a burger topped with brisket and bacon and it was killer. Just needed some BBQ sauce on top, which I got from the server. It definitely completed the burger. Calamari for an appetizer was solid and the wedge fries were also pretty good. Didn’t have the pizza this time, but you can never go wrong with their deep dish.

I don’t know why this place has such a low rating, I love this place! It’s a great place to come and catch a game and eat some good food. I also secretly love coming here for the pizookies ;) Their pizzas are good too! Salads, wings and spinach artichoke dips are good, Overall I like this place, never really had a problem with it. And I’ll keep coming here for my pizookies!
