Kids had a blast on the track. We went on a busy Saturday night and everything went smooth with very little waiting. All of the staff we dealt with were helpful, friendly and extremely good at their jobs.

If you’re a fan of motorsports or speed, this is a great place to go. If the staff notice you’re interested in more than just a day’s fun, they’re all passionate and knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to help you improve. When I mentioned I was trying to qualify for the faster karts, one of the guys, who had just got off, followed me and gave me tips after the race. Another walked the track with me on a slow day to give me pointers. It’s also a great place to have a fun day with friends, but its no surprise how many people you meet here that are passionate about racing.

It’s a fun place don’t get me wrong, but their prices for a single ride seem a bit too high. Even as a member the prices are high. I guess it’s fun to do with your friends a couple of times a year.
If this was the FIA, careless drivers would be banned from driving. If you go here be considerate of others, this isn’t bumper cars (as others have noted on here). Even if you go here a lot, that doesn’t mean you’re excluded. You’re not Lewis Hamilton.

Pretty cool indoor track. Much bigger than others I’ve been to especially during the week. A 10 minute run for $ 17 isn’t terribly priced either.

This place has amazing customer service! Chris went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience! Soo much fun, worth the money for sure!

If this were the only go kart track I had ever been to, it would get a higher review. I am, however, comparing it (maybe unfairly) to another go kart track I’ve driven in Germany that was amazing! This track, though, is better than another track closer to home in Tacoma. The other track had way too many drivers on it and the track was too small to begin with. This track had 13 drivers on it which was about 5 too many if I I’m honest. This track is not built for speed as there are no real straight-​aways to speak of. It is, however, a long track that has lots of tight corners which can be fun to slide around. There are still too many people on the track and that leaves too many young kids who want to go as fast possible and ultimately end up ramming into you, hitting the back of your kart, spinning you out of control, which happened to me twice! That leaves you sitting still watching other drivers pass you up at best, and ram into you at full speed at worst! There was even a driver that was black flagged and removed from the track for hitting too many people! All in all it could be more fun with less drivers on the track. The facilities are nice and clean, have a pool table and video games, and there is even a kiddie kart track for the little ones. Unless I find a better track, I will be back.

This place was alright! The atmosphere was nice ! And the staff are very friendly ! This was my first time here and I had a blast even though I lost control many times. It wasn’t too crowded which made it fun and easy to practice ! One thing I didn’t like was the used gloves, just seems so unsanitary ! So bring your own and wear something warm ! It seems like it would be more fun With a full group of friends !

I have been racing here for a few months now. I have been to a few other karting tracks and here is the skinny.
$ 19 for your first race and $ 17 after that. That’s by far the best deal around.
The membership is $ 30 and includes the head sock and a free race plus your birthday race. Then the race price drops to $ 13 per 10 minute race (with the option of buying in bulk if you are serious where you can get the price down to $ 9 per race). It’s $ 10 to renew the membership each year.
Kids racing is for 8 y/​o and up and 55in. tall (or 50 inches tall, not sure) and up.
Anyone under 16 or not possessing a valid drivers license must take the basic driving school course.

Prior to karting here I had been once or twice back in California and had the general idea as well as a bit of defensive/​offensive driving and motorcycle riding training. The staff has been amazing! I have been karting here a few times a week. I know all the staff by name and appreciate the service they provide as I am passionate about driving and know that they know how to drive (at least in a kart). They have been great about passing on their knowledge to me and work very hard to keep the races safe.
Most people don’t know how to drive and would benefit greatly from the racing class they put together on the weekends!
If all you want is to race around at your own pace with friends I would recommend trying for the off hours (before dinner time mid week). But if you are really interested in learning to drive fast check out the league races and the enduro races (Monday nights at 8pm, show up early), everyone is welcome and the regulars, myself included, are friendly and willing to share their knowledge.
So to recap, it’s the cheapest deal around, the staff is awesome, it’s a great place to learn to drive both fast and safely and if you are really into it, it can be a neat little community.
P. S. To the reviews complaining about crashes and safety: If you were in a wreck it was probably your fault. If you aren’t able to weave your way through or drive around a wreck it was because you don’t know how to drive and/​or you were driving beyond your skill set. If the track workers tell you you are driving unsafely, it’s likely because you are driving unsafely. It’s their job to either help you drive safe or kick you off the track so you don’t hurt someone else, let alone yourself! A fast driver can hit ~38mph in the 6.5hp and more in the 9hp karts.
P. P. S. The 9hp karts are for qualified drivers only. Qualify by posting fastest lap times in 5 different karts at the set qualifying time for the current track configuration (it’s not a members only thing, but if your aren’t a regular, good luck).
No, I don’t work here.

We took my son and 6 of his friends here last night to celebrate our sons 9^th birthday. The kids had a BLAST! We did not do the «party» here, just went for the driving. Kids have to be at least 8 and over 50 inches to race. They all did great driving the cars and said it was the best birthday party ever. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did a great job explaining the driving to the kids. Really great experience. We had an awesome time!

We had raced here before with tweens and teens on a weekday and had a good time. Called on a Saturday morning and asked staff if they could handle a group of 11 to which they said yes come on in but once we got there they said that only drivers over 16 were allowed. Why didn’t they mention this when we called!!! It should be on front page of website that weekends are for 16+ only. Very disappointed group of kids.

I came here with a group of 6 guys around 3pm and there were not many people there. Each round is about 10 minutes and those 10 minutes fly by quickly. These suckers go up to 45mph and the course challenging enough to keep us entertained. My only gripe was that there was a girl that joined our race that was always in the way and caused like 3 – 4 crashes! It would have been nice to just have us on the track! I’ll most likely will come back, maybe with a larger group so we can take over the track lol

I’ve gone here several times, work party, date night with my wife, and guys nights, but after my latest experience, no more! Safety is not the number one priority with the track crew. This is a go kart race track and not bumper cars, but a group of aggressive drivers was put on the track with us, and in the process of my visit I was hit over 13 times. It is the responsibility of the track crew to warn careless drivers and pull them out if they don’t listen, but instead they would wave their blue flag (which means let other pass) at the victims whenever aggressive drivers would hit them. After getting out I informed one of the crew members that there was far too much bumping going on and his response was «it happens». Well several days later my back still feels out of whack from getting hit so many times and so hard. No thanks Sykart, you’ve taken all the fun out of go kart racing by taking all the safety out of it.
As another data point, during the race I saw a girl get hit so hard that her helmet flew off and landed several lanes over.
There’s other places out there where they take safety seriously, visit one of them.

The track is fun, however the workers are not.
I’ve been twice and BOTH times (a year apart) they aren’t fully aware of the situations! I’ve been slammed into and needed help getting back on track, than accused of driving too fast around the corners. Also told me if it happens again I’m out of the race. Which is $ 19 per race!
I’ll ONLY come back if everyone else votes it. I’d rather go play pinball or skeeball!
Also it’s freezing in there so make sure u bring a warm jacket and gloves even for the steering wheels.

I won’t be too long winded here, but these guys have gone out of their way to help in learning the proper line, where to lift, how to not brake and still slow for a corner as well as when you must brake.
These aren’t bumper cars and if you want to find your inner Mario Andretti, give them a try. Buy 3 to get 4^th for free is the best value.
If you become addicted, become a member. It’s well worth it, and with signs of improvement, the track crew will be encouraged to help you in your quest for better times!

This is prolly the only place I know that has decent indoor racing.
The prices are high. $ 19 for a 10 min race, I forget how much the 30 mins were. The memberships are $ 30 which include a free race on your birthday and the price is like 14… for a 10 min race w the card.
I had a membership and went twice in a year haha.
I never race more than once, because my head starts hurting a bunch after the first 10 mins and hurt for quite a while.
They have motorcycle suits if you would like to wear them and they charge for everything. Like the net you use for the bicycle helmets.
This is a once in a while place to go to.
Also, wear shoes… actual shoes, and not flip flops or youll have towear their nasty flat looking shoes that they have NO socks for. how freaken gross is that.

30 minutes later, nausea hits. NOT A FUN PART.
Also… when they say NO BUMPING, that doesn’t mean if you hit you should make sure it’s not just a «bump» but is a full on SLAM… don’t be an asshole.
Oh and the place is LOUD, like VERY loud. It shouldn’t be surprising either since the carts are gas-​powered, but just be aware that if you have an aversion for loud places, you may want to avoid this place (or at least avoid the garage area).
Before you race, they tell you to watch a video (that they have cycling on a TV in the helmet room).
It’s really not useful beyond knowing that a white flag means «one more lap», and yellow is for caution (usually when a cart is spun-​out, stuck or broken-​down) because it’s HIGHLY unlikely that any of the employees will care enough to red flag anyone.
This can be both a good, and a bad thing. :-/​
Any ways, the place is quite fun and definitely worth a try.
NOT good for kids (under 16) though, because you MUST have a valid driver’s license to drive.

great place to feel like a kid again or be a kid if you’re not of age yet. gas powered go-​karts are fast and fun (contrary to K1-​Speed in Redmond that are electric).
the facility is a little dingy and out-​dated and the track hasn’t changed in the past few years (except that they reverse the direction every couple of weeks) other than that its a good time with friends.
it is a little more expensive than you would think, however, can’t put a price tag on a good time. its best to just get the yearly membership if you plan on going more than 4 — 6 times in a year (it’ll pay for itself) and keep your eyes out on groupons or living social deals!

This place is no joke!
At first I was afraid. I was petrified. (No, no… not the song!) They handed me a helmet, ok… but then told me to put on this hooded thing to protect me head from fires. YES, FIRES! Burning, flames, scars, danger, death. AHH!
It’s not cheap and you have to have a valid driver’s license to operate a car. That’s great because I have one but it made me scared of what I was about to get myself into.
I had a blast though, I have to admit. It was all very fast and all potentially dangerous but everyone played by the rules and had a great time. As a competitive person I was bummed to have not come in first place but I was racing with people who came here quite often and so I’d like to think they had a steep advantage. They take the rules very seriously here and make sure that everyone is aware of what those rules are before getting into the karts. That made me feel better but I still didn’t like wearing that hood thing! (Plus…do they launder them? I didn’t even wanna think about it.)

I’ve decided to drop a star because of the lack of safety at Sykart. There was a wet spot in the last turn before the finish line. People were crashing like crazy through that turn. You HAD to hug the inside. Instead of putting out cones or something like that to let people know where it was, they just let people run (and crash… HARD). I don’t like knowing the hard way that there’s a hazard out on the track. It’s not fun and I’m still suffering from it now.
Compared to a couple of other places I’ve been, Sykarts gokarts only have a 3 point harness (what’s in your car) as opposed to a 4 point harness. They also do not provide a neck brace — and given the wet spot that day I know a lot of people had some sore necks.
