Taco Time

Been coming here a long time. Excellent as usual. Better than taco hell across the street!

*For fast food I just love TT, and their soda machine is a thing of art
*Mexi fries are a top 10 addiction and my tip to you is to mix their salsa with ketchup to thicken it up, ok, you can thank me
*There are some relatively healthy options on the menu that all taste good

Taco Time holds a special place in my heart as it was the earliest memory of eating fast food I have. In fact, this was the first time I had Taco Time since more than 20 years ago.
I am happy to say that the crispy burritos of today are just as good as my fond childhood memories. All that overly-​fried crispy goodness can still grease your fingers while eating it and your arteries later on. Dip it in the complimentary salsa to add some wetness to the dealio. Otherwise, your meal is literally fried meat n’ carbs (ground beef in a light fluffy crunchy wrap)…and some delicious tater tots (Mexi-​fries in Taco Time parlance). Although I must say that my sweet potato taters were a bit under cooked in some spots.
All in all, it smokes Taco Bell hands down.
The fish taco is probably the highest quality thing on the menu and is $ 4.00 for the taco alone. It’s pretty damn good though.

I love taco time — like LOVE IT.
We recently moved to Tukwila, so this has become our taco time.
All the people working here are super nice and accommodating, so I have nothing against them.
But a couple weeks ago there was a long hair throughout my entire soft taco — gag. But like I said, I’m all about taco time, so that didn’t stop me.
Tried again last night for dinner. The husband and I had a good meal, or so it seems.
Cut to right now, I’ve been home all day puking my guts out — only thing to puke is taco time lettuce, some hot sauce, and bile.
I guess my love affair is over.

A typical TT location with one big exception: the floors are horribly greasy. I stopped in this location to grab a bite after an appointment in Seattle, partially to let evening rush hour die down a bit (I hate sitting in stop and go traffic).
I stepped up and ordered, then grabbed my beverage (their iced tea is really good), napkins, hot sauce and grabbed a table. As I approached the table I almost lost my balance because of the greasy floor. Even after sitting down my shoes were literally sliding all over the floor of the booth due to the greasiness.
The food was standard TT and tasty but they really need to get their fryer vented better so that someone does not fall from the slick flooring.

I came here today for the first time and I will continue to go to Taco Bell as this was nothing compared to that. First the beef freaks me out, and it wasn’t satisfying at all. I got a taco salad and the shell was the best part. My friends and I got nachos to share, the chips smelt like laundry soap and they were dry. Then my friend order chicken enchiladas, which first they gave her a beef rolled up thing. She told them, they brought her enchiladas which proceeded to have hair in them. It was so disappointing and not appetizing at all. Right after, I was craving Taco Bell or ice cream.

Okay… I’m not the one for FAST FOOD! Soo… When I’m in a hurry and don’t pack a lunch I will swing by Taco Time here in Tukwila. This facility is always kept up and clean, the staff is fast! If you must wait on something they immediately inform you. I’ve never had an order messed up. Also, there sweet potato mexi nuggets are the BEST!!! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quick clean place to stop.

Food was good. Didn’t realize it was a fast food chain. Food wasn’t greasy like Jimboys and tasted fresh. They had a good selection of healthy options as well which was nice.

Back in Seattle and had to get my TT fix, and they didn’t disappoint. Crispy beef burrito, mexi-​fries and crustos. Nice clean place if a bit chilly inside. Only crimp was charging .25 for a little cup of sour cream, which I had to break a twenty to do. Don’t cheap out guys. Will be back next trip.

As others have stated, the drive-​through is NOT fast. There were 2 vehicles in front of me and it still took 15 minutes just to get up to the window!
I’ve had food from this Taco Time on many different occasions and it has always been delicious except for the chicken quesadilla. I’ve only had the quesadilla at this one location so I am not sure if Taco Time has a poor choice or if it was specifically this location. The quesadilla is one whole tortilla folded into quarters and there was very little cheese or chicken on it, I felt like I was eating just a tortilla, that did not stay folded well.

The food is always good good fresh fresh here, but…
They are sooo slow I’ve gone through the drive though thinking it will be fast no they take my money and leave me wondering where my food… when they finally deliver it the excuse was waiting on Mexi Fries… thanks for telling me 5 + minutes ago what was going on.
Then yesterday I go in to place my to-​go order and it took 15 minutes to get my food! I am not kidding it took that long, I compared the time on my receipt to the time when my food finally showed up. Again no explanation while I was waiting and just a mumbled apology that things got confused back there. What got confused was priorities the drive through orders looked like they had priority over my order, even though they came after me…

Better than I remember, Very very clean place.
The old one by 160^th street was a bit run down.
The staff was very friendly and my food came out PERFECT!

I love tacos. They are probably my favorite food in the whole world. I saw a whole bunch of these while here in Seattle. Today I decided to stop by and check it out. I ordered 2 crunchy tacos and a large Coke. My total was $ 6.05. I went through the drive thru and then ate at these little tables they have outside.
The tacos were really good. The shells on these things were amazing. Think of the best restaurant style tortilla chips you can think of… then mold those into a taco shell. That is what these shells were all about. They put every other taco shell from a fast foot type place to shame. Hell… Ill even say that these taco shells were maybe the best taco shells ever? Its damn close… they were that good! They fill the tacos with a good seasoned beef, then put a bunch of shredded cheese on top of that, lettuce on top of that and then top it with a half slice of tomato. The tacos are $ 1.69 each which seems kind of steep but in reality its a good price for the quality you get. They give you a real tasty hot sauce too in a little container. It was spicy and delicious. I really enjoyed my 2 tacos. Oh yeah… they use crushed ice in their drinks too. Crushed ice is always good.
I was real impressed with this here chain. I heard they used to have them in CA back in the day. Why did they leave? I would go here over Taco Bell or Del Taco. Its a tad more expensive but the ingredients are better and they dont skimp on anything. They sure were tasty!

New taco time on International blvd. I love the crispy tacos with the ranch sauce and churros. The staff are all very friendly.

This is a relatively new property with new paving, as well. I’ve been here twice in a few weeks, once at night and once before work. At night, it’s slow and quiet by the staff was rather pleasant and friendly. My second time was ok. They have awesome mexi-​TOTS and the crispy chicken burrito was just right — it took awhile when I got it because they probably made it fresh [since it was slow?].
Other competition close by are Wendy’s, McDonald’s and Taco Bell.
