A totally biased and long overdue review. These observations are much overdue. I know her as Anne, she’s the manager of The Village Inn, in Tulare CA. She’s the Sweetest Lady and the best Hotel Manager I Know. Over the six years I’ve been going here, I’ve seen re-investment into upgrades that have greatly increased the hotels aesthetics and function. However, the price has remained the same. The combination of low price with good service keeps me as a repeat customer whenever I’m in the area. Anne isn’t an absentee manager either. When there’s a slight problem, you can always find her in the office or tending her garden which further adds to the hotel’s appearance. The rooms do vary slightly in furnishings and appliances but min-frigs, extra tables, or chairs are available upon request. Sometimes I travel with my desktop in addition to my Laptop so, this accommodation is greatly appreciated. Whereas other places will make excuses and condescending, insincere apologies, Anne will take every available action to meet your needs. Wi-Fi is good but can vary in signal strength depending on room location. Weekly rates are available and I notice some long term residents as well. It’s next to the Hwy but noise is effectively blocked, per my observations anyway.

This place is horrible. There are cockroaches everywhere. The place looks like a painted prison from the inside. And the blankets not only smell but are dirty as well. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worse enemy.
