I ordered a special anniversary cake, showed pictures of what I wanted, explained size, shape and number of people to serve — the day came to pick it up and for $ 100 I was handed a small round cake. The cake was the width/height of my iPhone 6(yes, the SMALL one), the decorating left much to be desired — the only good thing I can say is that the color was exactly what I wanted. The owner/artiste, I assume, was sitting at the desk on the computer when I came to pick up, she glanced up, continued working, NEVER spoke, never smiled or acknowledged otherwise that I had just paid $ 100 for a jumbo cupcake. BECAREFUL for what you ask, check, double check and triple check. We had to go to a different bakery to get another cake which was crappy too just to have enough to serve at our event. SORUDE and the cakes taste only slightly better than other local mass-produced bakery. **The young women working for the owner/artiste were as pleasant as they could be, so I do not include them in this review.

Icing on the top is one of the best cake places in town for design and taste, I have many brides who love their cakes as well as their service. I have even done birthday cakes and they were great!

The cupcake I ‘tasted’ for the cake was delicious; I wanted butter pecan with raspberry filling. However, the cake delivered at my wedding was anything but. Only the bottom tier had a thin layer of raspberry filling(the rest was white vanilla). The cake was also dry. The only upside was that the cake looked nice, but I would have liked it if the cake also tasted nice, considering the price. It tasted like it came from a regular grocer.

I absolutely regret getting my wedding cake here. My wedding day is one of the biggest days of my life and I am extremely disappointed with this bakery. I had a small wedding so I only needed a 2 tier cake and I ordered the top tier to be raspberry and the bottom tier to be cream cheese. I ordered it this way because almost all of my guests preferred cream cheese filling. My fiancé and I were the only ones that wanted raspberry and we figured that since it was our wedding we will just ordered the tiny top tier with the flavor we wanted. We were at our reception and cut the cake to find out the entire bottom tier was made incorrectly. It was raspberry on the entire bottom and the top. The bottom was the part we were supposed to serve our guests! As I mentioned, hardly anyone attending our wedding even likes raspberry flavor so barely any of our guests were even able to eat our cake. My husband and I were extremely embarrassed. Everyone was expecting a certain flavor and the entire bottom tier was incorrect and uneaten. We called the bakery the next day and unapologetically they told us they would give us $ 25. $ 25 doesn’t even come close to half of what we paid for the cake. We told them we would like more because of the embarrassment and the disappointment we felt during our wedding. They told us their rationale of $ 25 is plenty considering the cake was still chocolate and that the flavors were just wrong ?? If we wanted a plain chocolate cake we could have went to Reasors and got a plain cake for a lot less than $ 130. I will never use them again. My cousin was going to order her wedding cake there this fall but I told her about this situation and she quickly changed her mind. My husband and I are very loyal customers and it is a shame that icing on the top doesn’t value their customers.
