I came in this afternoon and really like the relaxed atmosphere of this coffee house. It was very neat and organized. The guy making my drinks was very friendly and very helpful so customer service was really outstanding. The only downside was I ordered two smoothies and to be honest my friend and I didn’t even finish them. Way to much syrup or something. The strawberry banana was way to sweet for my taste and the wild berry almost had a bitter taste to it. The price was extremely reasonable but taste wise I give it a zero. With that being said though I will definitely come back and try the coffee. The place smelled amazing and with such great customer service I really believe I should give Java Dave’s another chance.

Java Dave’s has been a Tulsa tradition for many years and I happily recall when they had a number of shops around the city. I shop here often for coffee and assorted supplies, and enjoy that they are just being Java Dave’s and not modeling themselves after other coffee sellers.

Love the relaxed atmosphere of the place. I went the middle of the afternoon and the coffee was old. They have different kinds of coffee in self serve thermos. They have a few different fresh pastries as well as packaged Otis Spunkmeyer and Kind bars. They have oatmeal and a few sandwiches. They have loose tea and all kinds of coffee beans and coffee makers. More Torani bottles of flavor than I ever know existed. They have Torani regular and sugar free flavors. Employees okay.

First time to Java Dave’s and got an americano. Took the barista about 5 seconds to make. She through a shot of espresso in a cup and then asked how much water I wanted… wasn’t sure because I’d never been asked before when ordering an Americano. So she filled it to the too with hot water. Now I have a cup of hot water with a shot of espresso in it that tastes burnt, bitter and waterdowned. Easy to say this is the worst cup of Joe I’ve ever had. Had high hopes for this place since it is right by my office but guess I will continue to take the off route to work so I can get good coffee at foolish things or topeca downtown.

If you serve coffee you will have my business of course but I really like this coffee shop. Its close to my job and the service is great. Coffee shops are notorious for being yuppyville but this place is really laid back and has a great selection of coffee drinks among other drinks if coffee is not your thing.

The coffeehouse has a great atmosphere and coffee combinations you just don’t find elsewhere. The grasshopper is a good choice. The prices are down right cheap compared to the bigger chains. The only problem is that they close earlier, so if you want a late night coffee fix, head to Starbucks.

Cool welcoming environment, and GREAT extensive selection of coffee and tea(both made for you, or loose to purchase). This was a welcome surprise for our morning!!! Breakfast sandwiches were great too. And seriously — the atmosphere? There were four cool older guys at the table behind us playing guitar and singing. Mellow, friendly, fun and inviting. GO if you’re in Tulsa!

Call me a coffee snob, but I am from Seattle and most of the coffee I’ve tried around here has been anywhere from bland to nauseating. Even the local Starbucks can’t seem to get a cappuccino 100% right. Java Dave’s can make a good cappuccino, and while some of their coffee blends are a bit bitter, there is a wide variety to keep you coming back. Friendly baristas, and a nice environment to relax or work in.
