Jiffy Lube

This location has always made sure to explain things to me in great detail, especially since I don’t know much about cars. They’ve always taken great care of my two vehicles and even pointed out things that could wait till the next visit, due to my budget.

This is our go to spot for oil changes and other minor services. I even had a transmission leak due to a loose gasket and a nice tech tightened up the bolts and took care of it. I also had a small oil leak so I bought some Lucas and brought it with me on the next oil change and they gladly added it in for me and it took care of the leak. The employees at this particular location always take care of my family when we need things done. Finally, we never spend more than 15 minutes there while waiting for the work to be done. My only complaint would be the cost for some of the things they offer like replacement bulbs and filters. They seem to have a bit too much of a markup for my taste. I do realize that this is a corporate decision and not one made by this location. Much better than going to Tire and Lube Not So Express.

I use Jiffy Lube for all of my oil changes but I usually first three one at 15^th and Lewis. I decided to come to the one on 11^th and Garnett today. It’s Wednesday so it’s «Ladies Day» I’m told and I am also told I get $ 7 Off my oil change which is great since I also have an $ 8 Off coupon! Unfortunately after the guy rambles off the charges he informs me that he can’t combine the offers and I’m only able to take one. He snickered at my manager’s coupon for $ 8 Off and proceeded to quickly rattle off the rest of his usual script. I notice that my charges are higher than they used to be here so I’ll be price checking elsewhere to see if there is a better deal for me.
