I can’t speak for coneys but their Souvlaki is SUPREME along with their sides, cookies and baklava. For some reason it took me years to discover this little hidden gem but I know there are plenty out there already enjoying their awesome food. If you haven’t had Soulvaki or pork tenderloin prepared the way they do then you definitely need to head in here and give it a try. The kabobs are served over a bed of rice(if you so choose). The pork is marinated for 24 hours minimum and that flavor explodes out of the meat. I’ll also note that the staff is always kind and helpful. I’ve been ordering ahead for pickup, I’ve never ate in and it’s been ready each time as soon as I show up!

It’s been years since my last visit here but this place is so good! Can’t wait until I’m able to come back here. The hot dogs are great but I really enjoy the Greek menu items.

Understaffed, dilapidated, barely Greek food. I was told that this restaurant is three generations old. It is fairly respected in the area by loyal costumers who have been flocking to this location to grab their coney dogs and«yeros.» This establishment has definitely seen better days and is a candidate for some much needed remodeling and quality control. I am a big fan of Greek food. I ordered hummus and pita, a papus chicken plate, and a baklava for dessert. I was told everything was made from scratch. The hummus was extremely watery, lumpy, and acidic. Even with two pita I couldn’t get half of the soupy mixture consumed. The chicken part of the papus plate was very well seasoned and was the only fully consumed portion of the plate. The rice was either extremely stale, or an instant style rice that comes in a box. The salad was laced with transparent, wilted, leafs that I had to pick through. The overcooked green beans should be replaced with a larger, more fresh and Greek, salad topped with olives and feta cheese. I ate the baklava before the chicken because it took about 20 minutes for it to come. I am not sure if it had any honey in it at all… It tasted more like a surgery pecan pie than anything else. Long story short, Eating lazily constructed food next to a pot filled with dead plants is not what I was expecting over 4 stars to offer. This place not very Greek at all. I would say it reflects a more Greeklahoma style cooking. If this city likes Louisiana hot sauce and green beans with their«yero,» then I guess I will take my business elsewhere.

One of those great hole-in-the-wall joints that exist between the cracks and crevices of America’s rotting fast-food empire. If you are searching for upscale décor, you will surely be disappointed. But, if you are seeking honest, tasty food that’s served up fast and friendly, this is one eatery that you should definitely try. Hint: try the red pepper tzatziki! Delicious.

I had a coney dog with meat sauce, mustard, and onions. It was good. It reminds me of the hot weiners we get in Providence, RI. I also had the gyro which tasted good but not as good as the coney dog. I paid for 3 people and it was only $ 5! They place is run down inside but the food is so good and inexpensive, you don’t care.

Jim’s is a Tulsa treat! Not only do they have Coneys, but they also have Greek food! The gyros are huge and fantastic. Definitely big enough to split, but you might just want to power through and enjoy the whole thing yourself. The staff are all SO nice and helpful. Though I have only been in a few times, they make me feel like a regular when I come in. The interior is not super fancy, but the food is amazing. The size of the lunch crowd speaks for itself. This place is not to be missed!

Stark place with limited parking. Very nice people working there. The guy behind the counter let me sample the yeros meat with cucumber relish. I chose the Papus chicken which was very tasty with seasoning and grilled perfectly. The salad was okay and the green beans were cooked with tomatoes. They had several things that looked good and I want to try. I will try the yeros plate next time and the tomatoes. The people that came in while I was there were all regulars, they have a loyal clientele.

It’s me again. Stopped in after class last night for a to-go dinner before heading to the boat show. I had the gyro on pita with tzatziki but no onions(I missed the onions but I was going to be in the car with people, so I went easy on them). It was delicious, as always, and I have plenty for leftovers. Came in at $ 7. I will never understand why people chose Arby’s two doors down, spending the same money there on crappy fast food when they could get two meals out of quality, fresh food at Jim’s(and support a local business) for the same amount of money. Friendly service, great family restaurant. I’m a loyal customer.

Both the greek food and the Coneys are spot on. This isn’t fine dining, but its delicious. The super friendly staff are great about getting people through the line quickly and keeping fresh ingredients around. Order the hummus, it is a big portion and very delicious.

Tasty yeros… especially of you get the yeros plate with tabouli instead of lettuce underneath the meat! They used to serve an awesome marinated steak dinner but it has been a while since I have seen it on the menu. The dining room is a bit dated, but the place is usually clean. Worth checking out… but be prepared to wait in line if you go over the lunch hour!

Amazing gyros. The finely chopped onion on top of the sauce is delicious. And they spoon some of the juice that the meat was in over the top. Like I said, amazing. The rest of the menu looks delicious as well. I plan to go back to try more soon.

Good coneys and especially delicious with relish. The staff was super friendly and helped us through the ordering process. Interesting to be serving both coneys and Greek food in this unique joint. I will have to try it again sometime for the Greek food.

I always enjoy eating at Jim’s. It’s one of those Tulsa favorites that people keep returning to. My dilemma is always what to order off the menu. Do I eat Greek today or do I eat Coneys. I finally solved my dilemma. I order both. I like everything on the menu. If you order the slovaki, prepare to wait at least 10 minutes for your meal because they cook it fresh for you. The yeros(gyros) are good and you can order them several ways. The staff is always friendly and eager to serve you.

One of the first Places I hit when I roll into Oklahoma to see the family ! I’m in awe that people on the west coast don’t even know what a coney is I got 4 and gobbled them down like a true okie.

Packed house! This is a popular lunch place and there was hardly any parking to be found. Don’t let the strip mall/outside/dilapidated sign fool you. The neatness and cleanliness were very good. The guys taking your order and serving your food are also the chefs and are preparing the food for all the world to see. I had gyro w/pita. Great meat piled on pita bread w/lettuce. They then dollop a big helping of garliced sour cream and drizzle an au jus onto the whole mess. Onions are optional. Next time, I’ll order sans onions because they overpowered the sour cream. Yum, yum, yum! I want to try the souvlaki and their stuffed tomatoes as well. I’ve driven by a million times, but I’ll make the stop again.
