We’re still going to this park on a regular and have had positive experiences. I’d like to add a comment regarding Fred K’s review. As long as we’ve been going to this park, 3+ years, it’s been against the rules to bring dog treats into the park. We were there again just yesterday, and I checked — the no-treats rule was posted at least two different places. These were not brand new signs — they would have been there when poor, mistreated Fred was there three months ago. There was one sign on the gate to the park, and another larger free-standing sign between the front gate and the gates to the separate small dog and large dog parks. Sounds like Fred is just the type of person who doesn’t believe rules apply to him, and is offended that someone dared to suggest he follow them like the rest of us. And how bizarre — I messaged him to let he know that having treats in the park actually was against the posted park rules, so he lowered his rating *of the park* from two stars to one! Guess he showed me! What a tool. The people and dogs at the park yesterday were great, as is the norm in my experience. Don’t be a Fred — just follow the park rules and it’ll be a pleasant experience for everyone, people and dogs alike.

Someone named Lauren W. messaged me this morning to tell me no treats is posted at this park. Maybe today they are but I could not find them posted 3 months ago. I’m bemused that someone, I don’t know if she’s an employee or just a troublemaker, had replied to my review with such a great delay. I’m sure glad I only have had one experience at this park. Here at home the dog parks are vastly superior to this one. If you are traveling and need to walk your dog in Tulsa, avoid this place.

This is a great, albeit simple dog park. It’s some old baseball fields converted into a dog park, with equally sized small and big dog parks. Like all dog parks, it is made by the community that visits the park and this seems to have several people that care for the park greatly. Several times I have seen people proactively picking up «doodie» or doing some light landscaping. It really does make a difference. The old baseball fields are pretty intact, which is kind of cool. I like the fenced in backstop and walking the outfield. There are a lot of benches and even some shaded seating. The location is great, just to the west of Downtown. I haven’t run into any issues with rowdy dogs, everyone seems to get along. There are also loads of trash cans around, each with its own pooper scooper so you can easily pick up some Stray poop in addition to your own dog’s «mess». There aren’t a ton of dog parks around Tulsa, but this is a pretty good one. Come on out so my dogs can obnoxiously bark at your dogs.

We have been taking our two dogs here for the past two weeks and we have loved each time until today! As we were walking in there was a lady there in front with her two large dogs pulling on there leashes trying to calm them down, we went into the park, heard a dog Unilocal and turned to see one of the large dogs trying to get a small dog, a few minutes after the lady was stand out side the fence with one dog while the other was let loose inside, that’s when the large dog attached BOTH our dogs! Is there no rule for animals who may be a threat to other dogs or even humans? Not sure if we will go back?

This is the only park open on Mondays and Tuesdays(when I have my dog) in Tulsa. My dog(BeeBee) is a dachshund /boxer mix(a boxhund, lol), and sometimes the dachshund in her can get her in trouble, but no major issues. Best times to go for lots of dogs and people is after 3pm. People get home from work and their dogs want to run and play! BeeBee and I go around 3pm on Tuesdays. I admin a Facebook singles group(Tulsa Area Single Mingle) and on Mondays, I post up the Dog Park as a group event starting at 7pm. The dog park is a great place to meet others! Always lots of activity… and dogs playing is a great ice breaker for meeting people! If you want to hang out by yourself and let your dog run free, it’s good for that too! No pressure to talk or hang out with other people.

The reason for three stars is that there really isn’t any other option for dog parks in mid-town Tulsa, its a little run down and kinda on a sketchy side of town. However Griffin had a blast and everyone seemed nice and to have their dogs under control as well. There was water for the pooches and shovels to pick up their poop. We will be back for sure, since we tend to stay away from the south side, but maybe one day we will go give that one a chance ;)

Definitely could use some repairs but overall a great place for my dog to socialize and run around. Most of the owners are very friendly and helpful if their dog gets out of control. Love it!

Muddy, dirty, people smoking, one lady had no control over her dogs. Restroom closed, porta potty provided — it apparently hasn’t been emptied in a long time. I won’t be going back.

Open 7 days a week.(Biscuit Acres only open 5) My preferred dog park. People are more relaxed and friendly. Park has lights, so it’s open til 11PM, which is so nice in July/August/September, though most people head home between 8:30 — 9:30.

This is a great park. I had no trouble finding it and no trouble with dogs or crazy dog owners/caretakers. I’m mentioning that because I’ve read some bad reviews of this park. Everything went fine though and my puppy really enjoyed herself. There were a good number of dogs playing and having fun both on the small dog side and the large dog side. This park is not as big as Biscuit Acres at Hunter Park, but there is plenty of room for the dogs to run around. The only down-side I found was that the water pumps are not on during the winter so individuals have to take the buckets across to the little green shed where the bathrooms are and fill them up for the dogs. That’s not a terrible problem really though. On the whole a very pleasant visit. I will definitely be going back.

We usually go to the dog park on 91st, but it is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. So I thought I would bring my two dogs down to this park. There were only 2 dogs in the small dog side and one of my dogs is a whippet mix so she loves to play and run with big dogs. As soon as I brought her over there, the care taker of the park approached me and told me that my dog wasn’t have a good time and I should bring her to the other side. So I took my dogs to a corner in the big dog side away from the other owners and dogs. They were playing and having a good time. He decided to come back over and tell me that one time he saw a little dog like mine get its neck bit and almost died because the owner brought their small dog to the big dog side. He then kept telling me that my dogs weren’t having a good time and that as a dog owner I shouldn’t have them in the big dog side. I immediately put on their leashes and left. As I was leaving a dog owner came to me and told me that I don’t have to leave, it is my decision to have my dogs on the big dog side and that he thought they were fine. Well I will NEVER go back to this park or recommend it to anyone. This old man, the care taker, had 2 large dogs with him and while cleaning he allowed those dogs to go into the small dog side. Which is 100% against the rules of the park. He also didn’t have collars, leashes or tags on these dogs, which is also against the rules! Not only was I following all rules while at the park, but this man had the nerve to yell at me and tell me what to do even though it was at my own risk, while he was breaking 2 rules of the City of Tulsa’s dog policy for the dog parks. NEVERGOHERE!
