Just had a good Margarita at peppers but the chips were old and the catfish was nothing to brag about.

A complete disappointment! The inattentive staff and disgusting overpriced food is an embarrassment to Tulsa’s vibrant restaurant industry. The waiter obviously botched inputting our order and my wife had to send back her plate twice due to mistakes. I spent most of the dining experience with an empty water glass so that I was unable to wash down the bland food I forced myself to consume. All and all it seems as the staff were halfwitted half bakes. Step it up and take pride in your work, food and the service you attempt to provide. We should have stayed home and ate PB&J’s and saved our hard earned money for some place deserving!

Somehow I’ve eaten here twice. Mistake both times. Why. Whyyyyyyyyyyy. This place is like a redneck funeral home. It’s drab, stuffy, and there are dead animals on the wall. They serve bland tex mex and bad american food. Save yourself the trouble and eat at the old car wash next door.

Stopped here Saturday for a drink and to kill time while tire fixed at Robertson’s Tire. Air conditioning doesn’t work. Stuffy.

Place looks like a total dive on the outside, but the interior is okay. The margaritas are watered down, but still refreshing. I tried the chicken fried steak. It was a large portion, juicy, with some nice home made gravy, but nothing outstanding. It came with luke warm fries and a dinner salad. There are many other better restaurants in the South Tulsa area serving the same type of Tex-Mex menu. I will probably not return.

Me and my boyfriend came here for dinner and it was fairly disappointing. Our flautas were sour– and when we complained we only got 10 dollars off our tab(one plate). Pretty upsetting to have to pay for a whole plate of sour chicken.

Drink prices are decent. This restaurant has no idea what it’s trying to be though. Pick your flavor and place emphasis on fewer offerings and better ingredients. Salsa tastes like v8. Sirloin was half a step up from ground beef. Mediocre. 3 instead of 2 stars for live music.

Ordered the Patty Melt. It was bland with no flavor. Also before the food came we had a bug crawl out from the chips. The staff was really nice and very attentive. I highly doubt that I will go back. If I do it will be to check out their drinks.

AVOID! Just simply the worst. The other reviews about the salsa are absolutely true — from a jar and watered down. the $ 1.75 margaritas are pitiful and watered down(I debated with my wife if there was even any alcohol in it, we decided MAYBE half shot/half oz) — Served in an 8oz wine glass(??), warm ingredients and almost no ice added creating the most amazing… ly disgusting combination of ingredients ever to touch my tongue. excessively over priced food. Summary — If you like over priced crappy food, watered down salsa, and tiny watered down warm margaritas… this is the place for you!

When it comes to free chips and salsa, I’m all over that like white on rice. But this place needs wayyyy better salsa. It needed to be served with a straw it was so watery. Other then the watered down«Salsa» the Black and Blue burger was delicious and very well seasoned patty went well with the Cajun Fries. Not to mention 1.49 margaritas. The prices are a bit high but they have live music to compensate for that as well.

Pepper’s Grill is my favorite place for Mexican in the world. The apps are big enough to be a meal themselves. Doubt me? Order the Mucho Tater Skins… go on… you’ll thank me later. Two potatoes quartered and toped with chicken, cheddar and jack cheeses, black olives, bacon, a scoop of sour cream on a nest of lettuce in the middle. So good my mouth just watered. The fajitas are great. Burritoes are top notch. Hell, even their burgers and sandwiches are worth a turn on your order slip. I have never had a bad trip to Pepper’s. Just don’t fill up on the chips and salsa while you are looking over the menu. You will want room for your main meal.
