At Polo Run you get to pay a first rate rent payment for third rate apartments. They lure you in with illusions of luxury, safety, and security with a neatly furnished model apartment in a clean, gated community, but once you’re in you quickly find out it’s a different story. The apartment is in a state of disrepair from day one, hardly anything like the model. Hinges are broken or completely missing, floor tiles are cracked, and you’re lucky to have working appliances. Roughly 90% of the time, the gate is broken or turned off completely. We’ve had to deal with brown recluse and ant problems, despite keeping the place spotless. Police are called on a weekly basis, making it really scary just to walk your dog at night. Most of the calls are likely just for domestics, but that doesn’t mean you have to go a full week without getting to hear someone beating a woman! Maintenance is prompt, but useless. Our dryer vents have been clogged since day one, despite three completed tickets all stating maintenance was successful. The air conditioning is quite weak, and fails once the outside temperature is above 90. Residents love pumping their bass as loud as possible during the early A.M. hours, making sleep difficult. On the plus side, the office staff are actually quite pleasant, despite having sold their souls to work at a Case & Associates property. Tl;dr: Avoid all Case & Associates properties at all costs. If it has the red cube, it’s terrible, no matter how great they make it seem. P. S. Get a Post Office box if you do decide to live here. Policy is to sign for all packages without bothering to check if it actually got delivered, sticking you with the cost. UPDATE: Just got out of this place today. Did a fantastic job of cleaning up after myself too. Even deep-cleaned the carpets. But, they still are charging me for«carpet cleaning» for our dog’s «smell». $ 75. On top of all the other«non-refundable deposits» they’ve charged, that’s quite a bit of money straight up taken from me. For instance, the $ 300 pet«deposit», half of which is refundable, the other half is legally a «fee» and not a «deposit» no matter how much they like to throw that word around. What happened to the $ 150 fee? Guessing it just went into their pockets. Also, I had my truck broken into and my radio head stolen. So will you.
