Rude night manager.
Bad customer service.
I was helping a kid from my neighborhood build a bird cage.
We went through a design and build process, picked out the materials required.
We didn’t have a saw, but it was a simple enough build that didn’t required many cuts.
Asked if we can have a few cuts made for us, total of 8 cuts.
The store manager replied back 3 free cuts, $ 1/​cut afterwards…
$ 1/​cut??? that’s ridiculous.
I asked if he can do it for any less, the manager responded back rudely, we don’t want to spend all day cutting wood. I would understand if it was an extreme amount, but just 8 cuts, on a dead weeknight when the employees was just standing around doing nothing!
Bad customer service! = no customer.
Took my business to Lowes, they did the cuts for free and with a smile. Will keep my business at Lowes/​HD from now on.
