Mill Sports Bar

The grilled chicken artichoke sandwich was wonderful and the sweet potato fries were great! Very nice server. The only problem was that it took forever for our food to come out and the place was dead.

Service sucks the worst, I asked the same server 3 time for a glass of water, it took forever for our food an I just ordered a sandwich, food was decent only reason I gave them two stars!!!

I love the decorum and overall look of the sports mill.
The first time I had their garlic fries they were every bot as good as the ones at AT&T PARK if not better. Their nachos were the best I ever had. However, for some reason unknown to me they changed their nacho recipe and they are now average at best. My food is rarely warm and the garlic fries I have never received crisp and hot like that first time. One more note. The Mills well drinks are the weakest in the county.

Horrible!!! We walked in and they sat us quickly then a server went and grabbed our drinks and said she would take care of them till our waitress got there and she did (LAURA) but with a attitude and asking us if we were ready, which we weren’t. She ended coming back and her tone of voice was of an irritated and not very happy we were there, we started ordering and ordered a carnivore pizza and some ribs well we asked her a question and she ROLLED HER EYES, yes she did I was in shock. We noticed she was being rude but we paid no mind until that. I will definitely never go back, I really felt discriminated and unwanted. i wouldn’t even give her a star because of the attitude

I was looking for a lite dinner and didn’t want to drive to far. Luckily the Black Oak Casino had several restaurants within the building. I decided a to give Mill Sports Bar a try.
There was a sign asking customers to wait to be seated however I waited for about 20 seconds and no one acknowledged me but the bartender. I asked him if I could just eat at the bar and he said that would be fine. He quickly put utensils out and asked what I would like to drink. I ended up ordering a beer (25 oz. of Lagunitas) while I looked through the menu. It only took a minute or two for my beer and the bartender also brought over a bowl of popcorn, although I didn’t try any of it.
I ordered the fish tacos and was surprised with how quickly the kitchen brought them out, less than 5 minutes from the time I placed my order. I was a little worried that the fish had been left out but if they had been, I definitely couldn’t taste any of it. The fish was coated and fried in a crunchy batter but was still moist and flavorful. The other ingredients appeared to be fresh, although the pico de gallo they brought out with the tacos appeared to be a little old based upon the look of the tomatoes… almost as if they were keeping it in the refrigerator to last through the day. The tacos also came with some fresh tortilla chips but I would have like to see a little more pico de gallo or some type of salsa/​dip as the amount they provided was only enough for the two tacos.
In the end, the meal was good and a very fair price considering I was at a casino. Service was good and the only thing I would say needed improvement was the freshness and amount of pico de gallo provided with the meal.

Just had a couple of beers and nosh. The bowling ally next to the Mill is preaty cool. Cold beer and a large bucket of popcorn. Looked at the menu looks like I will be coming back to have a meal lots to try here.

Should be ZERO STARS.
55 Minute wait! I ordered a burger that was supposed to be a medium rare burger and after almost an hours wait served me a well done mediocre burger.
My friend ordered the chicken alfredo. and that Killer Chicken was so hard if I chucked it at someone it could probably do some real hurting

Absolutely horrible customer service. I dont Unilocal often but for this I feel I have to. Im vegan which can be annoying enough I know, and they messed my order up which im used to. They fixed my sandwich by pulling off the meat but they claim it was brand new. I know this wasn’t the case due to the pesto that was on the original mistake sandwich. The atmosphere is cool here however. Its just a shame that the cook lacked integrity. Also our order took nearly 45 mins to come out. (3 sandwiches)

Food is great here with different varieties of food as well as beer. Nice atmosphere with all the sports and big screen tv makes it nice when a big game is on! The big downfall is the bartenders are absolutely rude and inconsiderate it seemed like a major hassle to pour a beer and WORK. All in all great place and food but bartenders are rude!

The food is pretty good the place is Cool and has even a pool table you could play pool before or after eating If you’d like but the only thing is the service here is slow

Food is good. Atmosphere is cool with sport memorabilia on the walls. It’s clean too. The only problem is the service is slow, and the wait staff doesn’t seem to want to actually «work». I would suggest some training for the wait staff. They just seem to want to hang around in a corner to talk, while we the customer could really use their services. We will be back for sure because it’s a great little place, but I hope they improve their customer service.

Came here on New Year’s so you can imagine how packed it was. There were 12 of us and the waiter and host accommodated us in a timely manner. Our server was a trooper and although we were difficult in putting in our order, she was kind and attentive the whole time. I give this place 4 stars for the service but 2 for the food. Everything sounds amazing on the menu but it isn’t presented how it is described on the menu. The fries were undercooked and my sandwich bread didn’t have melted cheese or toasted bread like it stated. Not a big deal but still. The atmosphere is cool with all the sports memorabilia and there are a lot of TVs to catch up on your sports. Although their food is not worth the price and is just «okay», their service is killer on New Year’s Day and that’s cool with me.

Absolutely love this bar and grill!!! I wish it was closer to our home, but maybe that’s a good thing. I have nothing bad to say, great service, awesome food, everything I’ve tried has been delish. Oh and of course nice tall cold draft beer, which is the most important thing to a good bar and grill!!!

Flour stars because the Margarita Pizza was amazing (and I am kind of a pizza snob), our server was really nice and attentive, and a decent selection of (only slightly overpriced) good draft beer. But it was pretty cold in there, and on our second visit the egg rolls were tasty but nothing special. But by far the best food option at the Black Oak.

Great place to come for Modesto. Only 60 min away. Food is fresh and hot. They have great items on the menu. Can’t go wrong. A must to eat here when your here. Oh and the chicken wrap is a must!!!

I really enjoy eating and drinking here! I love the ambiance! My food is always great. The pizza is definitely my favorite! Soooo good! I also love that the beer tastes so fresh and nicely chilled! Service is friendly.

Decent place to eat in a casino and perfect place for us to watch some football away from the casino floor and all the smoke. Service was good and they have a full bar with a big selection of beers on tap.

a nice little burger joint in this part of town.
Has your average burgers and fries. Kudos to their tater tot option instead of regular fries. Reminds me of elementary school.

A nice surprise downstairs at the Black Oak Casino. My wife and I had a couple of specialty burgers that were big, juicy, and delicious. Sweet potato fries and shoestrings were good as well. A draft and a soda and we were quite satisfied. The huge big screen TV and lots of smaller ones with games on were cool. Lots of other tasty sounding items on the menu. The service was good too. I’ll be coming back here for sure
