This establishment violated every business ethic in the book. It’s been over 5 weeks since they were supposed to repair a simple pair of shoes. They insisted on taking my my money up front when I dropped them off, before they did the work, then shut down the business for over a week due a death in their family. For over a week, the sign on the door said«Open Tomorrow.» When the store finally re-opened, I expressed my condolences, and they said they need a week to catch up. Then another week. I finally told them not to repair the shoes, to just ship them to me as I was no longer in Tupelo. They said they would FedEx them to me. I waited a week, still no shoes. When I called, they told me they repaired the shoes and still had them. They told me they would FedEx them out to me the next day. Another week went by, still no shoes. I called the following week to get the FedEx tracking number, was told each time they were too busy, to call back. I did call back, 5 times over 3 days. Each time, the same excuse: they were too busy to give me the tracking number. Finally, I said I would not hang up until they gave me the tracking number. The fellow hung up on me. The next day, the owner called and said she had the repaired shoes and would not send them to me unless I gave her my credit card number again and paid for the shipping. When I told her that it had been 5 weeks since I was promised next day service, she told me there had been a death in her family Again, I expressed my condolences, but I wouldn’t pay for the shipping as I told them I wanted to cancel the order 3 weeks earlier. She yelled that she didn’t want my condolences, called me «ugly» and said she was donating the shoes to charity, and hung up on me.
