Candlewood Suites Tuscaloosa

We just got done with a 6 day stay here from California. This was an excellent place to stay. Very clean, smelled nice all the time. Loved the little gym and free laundry services. Staff was very nice as well. Road noise was not that bad. Yes you will hear road noise, but it gave me the perfect amount of background noise to fall asleep. Will definitely stay here again!

Clean hotel. Comfy beds. Full kitchen was great for saving money on eating out constantly. Friendly staff. The only problem s, lack of parking, they only clean the room once a week.

We took a wrong turn on a recent road trip and ended up here. It was clean and the price was decent. They are also pet friendly so we couldn’t complain!

I was really surprised by the lack of hotels close to University of Alabama. You would think with such a huge campus they would have more of a selection.
None the less, this hotel is about a ten minute drive to campus which suited my needs just fine. The location of the hotel is close to a great deal of restaurants and the local shopping centers.
The lady at the front desk was nice and quick to check us in. However, I will say that it is a little different in that there is no attendant at night. There is a way to check in late at night, but I’m unsure of the exact details.
I will admit that when we got off the elevator on our floor, it did smell strongly of perfumed cleaner. However, the room was pretty spacious, clean, and the free wi-​fi didn’t hurt either.
If you need a nice hotel that has a convenient location, clean rooms, and an amicable staff, I would probably say this is the place for you.
