A really great wine shop! Way way better than you’d expect for Tuscaloosa! Jennifer is so extremely knowledgeable on wines that we’ve never been disappointed with any of her recommendations. The holiday wine preview night they put on a few weeks ago was a fun and festive event! Not sure how people could live in Tuscaloosa without Spirits being in business!

Spirits is a wine and beer cellar located out near the Lake in Tuscaloosa. The staff is super friendly and, while I can’t speak for the wine selection (I’m not a wine guy) I can say that the beer selection is phenominal for the Tuscaloosa area. Prices are much lower than letters, the staff is knowledgable, and the beers are great. The make-​your-​own-​6-​pack craze is available here too. Beer selection rotates by season, and they keep random mini-​kegs of select beers on sell (Bell’s Oberon Ale is the current mini keg for 22 $). They also have a great selection of cigars and your usual slew of liquors. Did I mention the staff was great?
