I found Randy through an internet search. I was looking for a licensed, professional electrician who specialized in clean recessed lighting installs. I did not want to have any extraneous patchwork that would need to be finished when the job was done. I was looking for work that I could afford — of course.

) was exactly who I was hoping to find, and we are very happy with his work. Randy is a personable, efficient, honest, and straight forward professional (no up-​selling or pressure whatsoever). His 6 light deal is not a «lost leader,» its just an straight forward price. He quoted me the same per light cost for 15 recessed lights as he did for the first 6 lights. He installed dimmers and removed the awful, dated florescent lights in my kitchen.
I researched his license to be sure he was insured and bonded before I hired him (don’t want to have someone falling off a ladder in my home). He specializes in recessed lighting, but is an experienced electrician. He answered all kinds of electrical questions for me about my home and did not seem to be bothered by my curiosity.
If you want recessed lights installed, you found the guy. He can look at your ceiling and help design a lighting scheme with the least intrusive (and most cost efficient) method of installation, and his prices are the best I found as well.
BTW, it is down right amazing what recessed lighting will do to a room. The ceilings look taller and our rooms feel bigger. The whole house feels more modern. The only problem is now I want to have even more lights installed in the other rooms as well.

After talking to him briefly, I gave the project to him. The reason is that I also called other contractors before him, but obviously Randy is the one who give out the right price and right plan at the first place. No bullshit at all.
The project include two living rooms and three bedrooms need light installed. All are tall ceilings except one bedroom. The work is amazing, not only the project itself, as he emphasized several time to me: his work is very clean. The patches on the wall are very small. He also tried to use attic to avoid put patches on the wall. The finish he done made them almost invisible. All the lights are aligned evenly. They make the whole house much more pretty than before. I really appreciate his work.
His price is surely very fair, and compare with his work. I say every penny worth it. If in future I have other electrician project. I surely will looking for him again. Thanks a lot, my friend.
