The smoke alarm battery went off at 4 am. Unable to return to sleep. Even after they fixed it. The price was extremely high. Breakfast was literally not a breakfast. The internet kept logging off. Very unsatisfactory

Charged $ 175 for one night. WAY overpriced. My iPhone was bigger than the TV. Seriously, my 6 Plus could’ve been mounted on the wall. There are virtually no vending options. One drink machine and then 4 bags of chips and 2 candy bars behind the desk. Breakfast was subpar. They pretty much swindled us. Tried to say it was standard rate around town but the new La Quinta further down the loop was $ 110. Where I stayed was not worth the $ 65 more.

I stayed here for two weeks in Dec on a business trip, and the hotel was nice. Free Wifi, the breakfast was ok but it was free. My room was very nice and cozy!!!

Good place to stay on the cheap. The shower was always hot, the bed always comfy.

My first stay in a Baymont; I’ve always had the impression they were a low end chain. Not so. I booked this place due to good reviews on another site, and was not disappointed. It was quite new when I stayed(7⁄09). Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The property is really pretty elegant, with very nicely designed common areas. The room — I had a king — was very large and very nicely appointed. The bathroom was extremely attractive. Bed was comfortable, décor was extremely nice. The price was very reasonable, and the location good. It’s more less halfway between the Tyler airport and downtown, lots of restaurants nearby(try Mercado’s for very good Tex-Mex). Even the colors in which the room was done were very attractive and soothing. Microwave and fridge in the room, along with a coffeemaker. My *only* disappointment — and it’s just one of my own pet peeves — was plastic«glasses» instead of glass, but that’s getting extremely common everywhere these days. Highly recommended.
