Mark took three friends and I on a 2-​hour tour, and I can’t recommend the tour enough. Renting a canoe or kayak will get you the beautiful cypress and wildlife experience, but without the tour we would have definitely missed Mark’s detailed knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area and its history. Must-​do if touring Southern IL.

A good family adventure. We took our 6 and 8 year olds, and they had a blast. Our guide, Mark, explained the area we were in, along with a bit of history for the Cache River Wetlands.
