The food was delicious but I ordered Ropa Vieja for $ 10 and it came with two sides. I got yuca fries and avocado salad… I got a small container of Ropa Vieja with a few yuca fries and a slice of avocado with three pieces of onions!!! Too expensive even if it was good. The rations I got was worth more of a 4.99 meal!

So I have been going here since before they remodled/moved. It was my favorite spot but the past three times I went there the flavoring has been different and not in a great way(now it’s just good). New cook? I don’t know… but they should have left a good thing alone.

During Fall of 2015, I stopped by this Cuban place for a little mid-afternoon snack. I tried their ham croquettes and a jumbo sized iced tea. The croquettes were delicious, and the iced tea was very refreshing that it was able to quench my thirst. I also really liked it because it wasn’t too sweet and also due to its jumbo size that it took me a couple hours to finish that thing. I recommend this place if you are around the area.

I love this place! The food is great and the croquetas are delicious!!! The lemon drinks are superb. I rather go down to this Cuban place and not the one on 64th& Park.

I live in Long Island. I tired so many tres leeches but by far this is the best. I visited a family member in NJ and was craving tres leeches. I poped into the store bought one and was in heaven. I so wish they were near by.

I moved to this area a few months ago… I wasn’t sure how good was this place so, I never tried it until a friend of my recommend it. Omg! I have been missing out! I was on a rush on Saturday, so I gave it a try and bam! I’m now addicted to their pan con bistec. I literally buy 2 or 3 per week lol. So yummy!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. Service was wonderful and attentive, the décor is bright and fun, but let’s face it, you want to hear about the food, right? Well, it’s fantastic. I highly recommend the ham croquettes(so, so good) and watermelon juice, if you’re lucky to visit when they’re offering that seasonal treat.

This is what food victory looks like. It’s the Marielito. It’s a Balsero(Traditional Cuban Sandwich with grilled ham, Swiss, seasoned roast pork and a mustard sauce) topped with two crushed ham croquettas inside. This is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten in thus area and you can bet I’ll be back. It was muy muy muy delicioso!

Was so excited to try it again as our last experience was somewhat OK but it looks like they just lost their touch. I ordered a chicken sandwich and specified what should be in it. The girl on the phone repeated my order and they still somehow screwed it up. The ropa vieja sandwich was tough and the frita cubanas were overcooked. The soup was salty but was an easy fix by adding more water. Pretty much $ 60.00 went down the drain. What a disappointment The worse part is when you are looking forward to some good cooking and you get this. Should have just made a box of mac and cheese, prob would have been better. Oh well, def not returning.

I love Cuban food. I’m sure I’ve made that clear in previous reviews, LOL! Pan Con Todo is a GREAT spot. To sit and eat, as well as to have delivered. I normally order a Cuban sandwich or Media Noche with maduros. It’s always really good. The pernil is never too salty(which is my main fear) and the maduros are just how I like them, crispy and soft at the same time. The empanadas are really good too. I’ve had the guava y queso empanadas numerous times, and they were banging each time. Try the cuatro leches !!! Normally it’s tres leches, but they add dulce de leche on the top, YESSSSS! It’s really sweet, so one slice is good enough for two people. All in all, always a great choice.

Food was fresh and delicious. My boyfriend and I ordered the Cuban sandwich, steak sandwich, tostones and their signature watermelon drink. The mojo sauce was okay but we felt like it was missing that kick. We ordered to go and the wait was long but the man at the register was really polite and kind. The drink wasn’t to my liking but if you enjoy watermelon then order it — it literally tastes like squeezed watermelon juice.

So glad to have this Union City staple back in my life. When I first moved here I possibly got food from here weekly. Then they closed & my heart broke… I was really hungry for Cuban but still hadn’t found a place nearby that I loved since pct closed. I used Unilocal to search and to my surprise there was my favorite Cuban joint reopened! When I picked up I noticed some changes were made to the restaurant. It looks really cute and i love the ambience. One thing I love most about this place is that it doesn’t feel like a hole in the wall by any means but has hole in the wall prices and GREAT service. It was pretty busy and I saw the same owner still around. I ordered vaca frita with white rice and maduros. Everything was cooked perfectly. The beef was just crispy enough and the onions/lime complimented it perfectly. The maduros were also just sweet enough and and an awesome addition to all the flavors of my Vaca Frita. I would totally recommend pct to anyone. I actually once had a project in my food and culture class when we each got assigned a country. This girl got Cuba and had never eaten Cuban food I sent her to pct and she literally was thanking me bc it was so awesome! Note they didn’t serve liquor in the past and it was byob. Not sure if this has changed so ask ahead of time if this is your thing.

By far the best Cuban spot for the price anywhere around here .so in that respect not getting me my delivery would’ve lost a star or too but .I know. I know. got damn it I know how good they are so … yeah 5 stars … guess I’ll order FOWKEN pizza Till next time PTC

Ordene para domicilio, ordenen la cantina con arroz morro y churrasco. Me costo $ 12. La comida de allí me callo muy mal. Súper grasosa y no se siente recalentada.

The décor was nice, the service and prices were excellent. the empanadas and the batidos were delicious but I was disappointed in the lechon asado. It was dry and lacked flavor. The moro and yuca con mojo was also bland.

Came back on a friday afternoon with a friend. Ordered an iced tea, a maracuya shake, churrasco w/white rice and plantains, and a chicken sandwich. To begin, the service was superrrr slow although the place was almost empty. I figured the place was empty during my first visit because it had just reopenned but nothing changed during our second visit. The waitresses seemed to be more preoccupied with gossiping and being on their phones. Also, while the chicken sandwhich was great, the churrasco which we ordered to be well done was still rare in the middle after waiting over 30 minutes. We didn’t ask for the meat to be taken back because we had already waited for so long already and had plans later, but it was definetly a disappointing visit. Will not be returning for anything other than take out sandwiches anytime soon.

I have been craving to taste a great tasting cuban sandwich in this area, and i think i found one. Pan Con Todo is the place to go if you wanna taste real cuban cuisine. I had a cuban sanwich and it was absolutely delicious. The pork was full of flavor, cheese was completely melted and the second I had my first bite, i felt satisfied. My wife had the churrasco which was cooked in mojo i think because it tasted different from a normal churrasco(not that its a bad thing, just unique.) We also had the yuca w/mojo which was very good too. The only things i might correct as the owner would be the maduros because they were a bit dry. Service was great(waitress was very pleasing and welcoming, and not too jolly, which is good.), but next time lets have everyones food out at once lol. Besides that, PCT is absolutely a great great great place to go if your craving cuban food and I dare anyone to argue with me about that. I know great food and trust me, you’ll love it hear. :)

I ordered for pick up tonight, i was excited that it had reopened. Sadly, i was very disappointed. I ordered the pan con bistec which in the menu states it comes with french fries in it.(ok yes awesome lots of Cuban places do this). But no. it was potato sticks from a can. Hmm misleading? There was barely any steak in the sandwich… a super thin alice. yes like one slice of steak. Waaay to many onions, it felt like an onion sandwich with a tad of meat. The croquetas were ok, but not the best. I had high hopes since when i came here a few times many years ago, it was so good. The sandwiches use to be stacked. The menu had more options. Now it is strictly sandwiches and some of the sandwich options have changed. I don’t think i’d be coming back. Honestly it was the worse steak sandwich I’ve ever had :(, so bad i’d rather eat a white castle burger. Well anyway, maybe if someone happens to see my review they’d consider making the sandwich up to par, how a true cuban steak sandwich should be. P. S. **and if it says french fries inside. it should be french fries not potato sticks.
