America. This restaurant can be summed up in one positive word. Good simple food served quickly and professionally in a clean well kept environment. The place was packed at 11:30am on a Tuesday. We knew it was a good choice then. Come join the locals at this unobtrusive yet welcoming restaurant. 4 stars in this home style food category.

This was the worst place I have ever eaten. We stopped to have dinner on our trip home. We ordered corn dogs and soup for then small children and chillies for most of the adults. The waitress was rude and argued with me about ordering soup for a 2rd old, I told her he wanted soup and I did not care that more than a kids meal. I had to tell her 5 times it was unbelievable, she got us drinks and never refilled them. An hour later I asked the manager how much longer it would be for our food and he never come back to tell us. After another 45mins we decided to leave then Manger would not even come to the till so we could pay for our drinks. We left money on the till and left. We went across the streets to Shari’s and we served quickly the staff Even brought crackers for the kids my pregnant daughter in law. The food was amazing we tipped them 60 bucks.

Boy, I don’t get the positive reviews of this place. The ONLY thing going for it is the service, very friendly. We had breakfast and were profoundly disappointed. I’m pretty sure the hash browns were from the freezer, the coffee is ordinary, and no real cream. The food is really no better than Denny’s, maybe not as good. Mediocre at best. I’d not go back.

Greasy spoon diner food. Breakfast is great and the waiters are pro. Never had a empty coffee cup yet. Come early before 8 if you don’t want to wait in line on Sundays

Excellent little find when heading to the airport. Had the pork roast special with mashed potatoes, corn and split pea soup. Very friendly service and a great home cooked meal. Will come again when we are back in town.

I am not a breakfast person. I just moved here to Yakima and was waiting for Costco to open so I thought I would Unilocal a place to eat. I was seated within seconds of walking in the door. The wait staff was friendly and very attentive(I like that) I ordered off the back small meals one egg omelet hash browns and iced tea. One thing that made me smile when my ice tea was refilled a cup of ice was brought to the table. That is what I call service, someone who knows their way around the drink world. I would stop here again! Fast friendly and my bill was under 9 bucks!

Traveling through the Yakima, WA area and stopped by this place. Had the open face beef sandwich and a cup of their cream of potato soup. I think it was the best open face beef sandwich I’ve ever had. The soup was fantastic as well. The crowd is older but they know good food. Service was fast and friendly. Don’t miss out!

While the food was good, it’s just not worth it. I ate here with my father mid-morning, and I had the Denver Omelet(everything fully cooked, by the by). Shortly after getting home(this was probably about 2 – 3 hours after eating) I began feeling absolutely horrible. Extremely nauseated, lightheaded, chills, headache, stomach cramping and dry heaves. I think we all know this points to food poisoning. I had eaten nothing prior to this, and at 7:30pm I still have not eaten anything else today thanks to being ill from this food. Not worth it guys. Don’t pay to get food poisoning.

After reading all the wonderful reviews i was expecting to receive the same service. My husband and I wanted fish so I said let’s give them a try. Very friendly staff when you first walk in. It was extremely noisy but that was still ok. The host brought us our water. Our problem was our waitress, she finally came and took our order 10 – 15 minutes later she came and told us they ran out of baked potatoes, what would we like to sub it for. I kept trying 4 different times to get her attention as she walked right by to get more water, she totally ignored us. The other waitress were interacting with their customers, they were very friendly. Not sure what our waitress problem was. Absolutely had no personality. After she brought our food my husband asked for extra tarter sauce and I need water. Again we had to track her down she forgot. Another waitress even stopped at our table to pick up our salad plates. The fish was good but not good enough to go back.
