Carvel Ice Cream Bakery

This Carvel is located in a busy roadway, but that does not stop people from coming in and enjoying their ice cream. There is something wonderful and magical that happens when you bite, lick into some Carvel ice cream. wow. I swear it gets better every time. I walked into Carvel’s after i picked up dinner, and picked up two small cups for dessert. Cant go wrong with some delicious ice cream.
The employees were so nice and helpful. It looks like they really enjoy their job. They took their time with helping every customer. Everyone in there had a smile on. I will most definitely be back for the legendary ice cream cake. Yes! my fiancé’s bday is coming up. I might have to come back and reserve my cake. yumm!

My go to place for ice cream. Located in Morris Ave this place has been here for a long time. But no one is complaining with all the different flavored of goodness awaiting you inside. Parking maybe a challenge but you will be rewarded when you do get parking. Prices are reasonable, lots of favors, serves ice cream, shakes, and ice cream cakes. Staff here are always friendly.

I do not review many businesses so doing so means they were either exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. In this case… it was EXCEPTIONALLY GREAT. I was recently in charge of planning my soon-​to-​be 13 year old stepdaughters birthday party. She loves ice cream cake so it was a no brainer to go with Carvel with their cookie crunch design. This location stays open late and they are highly favored with the locals during any season. The day I went in to place the order, the shop was packed which is a good sign. There were many pre-​made cakes/​designs so I chose not to use their pre-​made design and made a cake catering to my preteen. She loves music and just made the basketball team which she loves so that’s what I requested on a large sheet cake. On pick up day, a week later, the cake was ready on time. It’s always a pleasure to see your vision come to life. The cake design and taste was a success with all our party guests. Thank you Carvel Union!!!

I like this Carvel. I really do. As a matter of fact it’s way better than any other Carvel in the area. It’s clean, inviting, somewhat ample parking BUT they gotta do something with the help. If I were the owner I would spend a little more time there unannounced to see what is going on there, eg see how the employees take care of customers, what time they close etc. I think this guy could be adding an easy 15−20% annually by switching some of them around. Oh well otherwise great place add another star and a half.
