This was on our bucket list to go ice skating. This was my friend’s and I FIRST time to an ice skating rink. It was 8 of us in total. For a Saturday evening, it wasn’t crowded. There was no line and we went onto the rink without any problems. The price was pretty good. It is $ 8.00 admission and $ 4.00 skate rental. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The music was good and the rink was a very nice size. The skates were a bit difficult to put on but manageable. They are located behind the Pizza Hut off Rt. 22. We definitely wouldn’t have found it but they do have a parking lot. There is seating on the side perimeters to overlook the rink. It was fun and I would definitely recommend anyone to come and give it a try. Be sure to wear warm clothes, gloves and you will have fun.

Fun rink with good music and a helpful staff. Skates and ice time were super affordable, and the skates were in decent shape. Parking lot is a little creepy like you wouldn’t want to be there alone, but the rink itself is well lit and fun.

Great rink. Yes there are«nicer» rinks here and there. Union is older and only has one rink, but ice is ice and it’s the staff that makes the difference. It’s a casual and friendly atmosphere; but the coaches, lessons, pro shop, camps and teams are top-notch and there is something to be said for that. Pro shop has decent prices. Also worth a mention is that there is an indoor soccer field in the rear, so when hockey players do dry-land work the field can be utilized. Lounge upstairs is decent for parents and siblings(warm with a TV and snack bar), as is the seating for games. Very happy our son started his hockey«career» at USA.

Pretty nice rink, home of the Devils, Cranford, and Union Thunder. One ice rink, two miles off the Garden state parkway. Nice lounge overlooking rink .The seating is above the rink but the sight line is perfect for observing game.
